I don't think it's right that the guy called back and left a message containing private information on another individual when he already knew it was the wrong number. These guys are jerks---or they've got unethical people in their hire, which makes them equally responsible for the harassment. Ignorance is not a defense.

A Mr. Paul Meskety (sp) called my number from a "private caller" number and asked for someone that I have never heard of. I told him so and after hanging up with him he called AGAIN and left a message threatening this person I've never heard of telling him that he was going to show up at his house and he was going to serve him with papers with an intent to sue. He ended the call with stating that if there were any questions to call 888-755-2786, which I did. They answered, "WEST POINT ASSOCIATES". I told them to quit calling my number, blah blah blah. Some guy comes on and tells me I have bad phone etiquette, to which I responded that calling a phone number BACK after being told it was the wrong number and leaving a threatening message is truly bad phone etiquette. Whatever...I just wanted to know the name of the place, so there you have it....WEST POINT ASSOCIATES. They called themselves a 'litigation company". So---go to town with that info, folks and harass the dickens out of them. :D You're welcome.

Melvin, you're full of s***. You put this same thing on every single site. You work for them, and you're one of them. You threaten people with showing up at their homes, places of work, court, jail, etc. How low can you get you piece of trash.

This company called an old cell phone I hadn't had in years, but it is used by my parents,  she gave them mycell phone number because they thought it was a friend of mine, which it wasn't they have called every day threatening to put me in jail, and file papers against me, they called again this am, and said someone was going to my place of work to give me papers.  (I am not working...) They said they will be at my residence at 2 with a notice of intent for me to appear in court.

If this is a collection agency, they refused to give me their name, and when they call my cell it is a private number it is blocked.  This must be a old debt that had been discharged. These people are awful.

Got a call from this number, stating I had an unpaid payday loan from 2003. I was very upset at first, not sure if it was actually my debt, it's been 10 years. But upon further research found out they only have 4 years to file a judgement against me in the state I live in. I requested they email me proof of this transaction which they have not. In my state I have the right to request this info. At this point they can go ahead and file whatever they want, until I get proof it was me, I will not deal with them anymore. See u in court if it's legit,

Me too.  It's a scam.  When someone is serving you with "papers", they dont let you know when and where theyre coming.
