That's because they were probably calling from the middle east where all our jobs are being outsourced to!
2 thumbs down to Bell!
Got a call...came up as "Anonymous" on my call display. Guy with very strong middle east accent came on. Something about my phone number being chosen for some sort of Bell promotion that would cost me under $90 for my land line, high speed internet plus cable TV. When he started asking questions about how much I paid per mth, I asked if I called Bell myself would I be able to confirm this 'promotion'...then a 'supervisor' came on (also w a strong accent)and I asked him the same thing...he told me I could call Bell myself if I preferred at 888-759-3474...so I did but @ 310 BELL.
When I got through to Bell I got to talk to someone I could understand and yes they did have a promotion that saved me a whopping $2.95 on my long distance package and a "1 yr" credit of $5/mth on my phone & $10/mth on ExpressVu. Apparently because they don't offer high speed in our rural location I didn't get a deal on that and the deal was only soso on the ExpressVu because they were promoting their cable TV service. Ok so I'll save $180 + taxes over the next year...a far cry from 'under $90.00 per mth...I still pay $165/mth. If they touch my 'packages' I will definitely be changing service providers
Just a very odd way of doing business...to have unknown numbers calling your customers with no info to confirm they are even affiliated with you. Bell gets 2 thumbs down for not keeping customer service jobs in the country.
They called me at midnight on a sunday, was NOT happy about it!
Hey, wanna get rid of it for a while...say the person they are referring to has died...does a great job at getting your number off the list!! I know it sounds sick but it works.
I see the pattern. Cancelled Bell express-vu a week or so ago, and have been inundated by calls since them. Since the billing was under a corporate name, nowheres resembling a real name, the ask for Mr or Mrs "corporate name." That's when I hang up, after telling them I don't speak to ignorant stupid people!
Calling twice each day for the past week (unknown); when I answer and there is no immediate connect, I hang up. Today (Saturday) they called with a live person. I answered in a foreign language, he badly mangled my husband's name without identifying the company, I stuck with the foreign act. He said he will call at a better time.
We canceled Bell ExpressVu last week and were told, although our 3 year contract had run out seven month ago, we still owed them $72 for the 30 day notice. We went online to drop all channel packages and would not let us. It did let us suspend the service at a cost of $15 per month for minimum 6 weeks, so we did it. I am thinking they are calling to tell us we can't do that.
idiots at this number don't even speak english. get rid of bell save money snd get more channels with shaw tv.................check them out you won't be sorry. Oh yes they all speak english.
All I got from this number was "This is an imporant call, thank you for holding" following a french interpretation, it played three times, then I heard that little click you hear when someone hangs up.
Received an automated message from BellTV regarding a billing error.
I figured these calls were from Bell TV. I just cancelled my service with them after 5 years and they fought long and hard to keep me as a customer. The longer they argued, the more I wanted off that plan! Now they are calling. Of course. If they lose a customer, might as well harass the crap out of them!! They dont' leave a message, I don't pick up any of their other calls. Period.
Just got a call from these idiots. I Cancelled my bell expressvu account after many years. Very dissatisfied with bell. This guy calls to give me info on my cancellation date etc. I already have this info. DON"T NEED 20 calls a day from these idiots getting on with B.S. Thanks bell for all these calls. I just cancelled my home phone, 2 cell phones plus my internet account with ye guys. Don't need your harrassing calls and ignorant people on your end.
Received a call from this number today, didn't answer. They left a voicemail and it was an automated message saying that they forgot to apply a promotional credit to my current bill, and it will be adjusted on my next bill, and for me to call back if I had any questions.
calling over and over and no one saying anything but there is heavy breathing. Whats the scam?
I was having problems last Saturday with my NHL package and tried to reach Bell. No success.
The recording indicated that their hours don't include weekends.
Who then, is calling me today?
I spoke with Bell today. This is a scam. They check to see if you made a payment and offer to let you do it then USING YOUR CREDIT CARD.
THIS IS NOT BELL!!!
just got the same call. guy said he was from Bell Express Vu customer satisfaction or something. a long distance call. i found it a bit suspicious so i googled the number and found these comments.
I added that number to my blacklist (using a software) on my phone (the one app** makes) so it gets a busy tone.
Yeah, saw that number on our phone as well... didn't call it back though. Man Bell just doesn't give up!
This is retarded. If Bell ExpressVU wants to contact me to tell me about new promotions, they can do it via my regular bill mailing or online bill or online newsletter / magazine subscription. I got a call the other day and it was just an automated message saying for me to contact BELL EXPRESSVU right away -- no details provided. Naturally, their customer service lines were jammed when I tried to get through. I have since asked to be removed from all future BELL EXPRESSVU telemarketing promotions.
Thanks , I was just wondering who that # belongs to . Ive now added it to my phonebook on my phone so it will let me know when Bell calls. one less long distance call to wonder about !
I received the a call from this number earlier today.I called it back when i got home from work and it was Bell Expressvu and they called in regards to upgrading my channel selections!
