next morning got 4 new calls from them

Call came in 1:30pm on cell phone. Male voice says on voice mail that a file had come across his desk with my name on it. That the file needed my imediate attention & left 1-866-260-2968 as a call back number then said when I call back I should give case#3268763 & said his name was Rich Thomas.  At about 8:30pm my phone rang showing the same phone # on my caller ID. When I answered a womens voice asked for me. I said who is this & why are you calling me. Her reply was that she had a gold master card for me.
I have been getting these calls on my cell phone. How do these people get our cell phone numbers?

I was one of these F**cers.I called you often. They let me go because I was too honest....I could not screw over some folks///in other words, I did not get my daily quotas...here in Clearwater, they just closed a cedit card scam...was run by a shiny tall bastard named steve whose claim to fame was...
he owned about 12 hopped up honda cars...each a piece of s**t...he told me, if I could not make a sale, give the phone to him..."I have an answer for everything". Hope this a**hole is in jail. or locked in one of his hondas.

I have gotten an outragous amount of calls from this number. I have never given out my cell phone number and my friends don't even know it! I can't legally apply for anything(too young) yet they still harass me endlessly! This all started on vacation and as soon as I started being harassed by this number, others soon followed! These are 14073294618 , 16037172658 , 15057536045 , 19098428156. Fix this crime for petes sake!!!!

i've gotten 15 calls from this number in the last 2 weeks. its getting rather annoying. i am on the do not call list, but i guess they have no respect for privacy. if they continue to call i will be reporting them to the FCC and the FBI.

I have recieved numerous calls from this phone number on my personal cell phone. They call at all hours of the day. I called back twice and both times the "representatives"  hung up on me. One actually had the nerve to argue that I had requested their services before she hung up!

The third time I spoke to a "Jason" and I made him promise that he would not hang up on me before I spoke. It actually worked. I confronted him and generally bitched and he said they'd take me off their list.

Then again, the same company called again two hours later, so it may be too soon to tell

yeah i just got 2 calls from them on my WORK phone number, which i never give to anyone! this is very annoying and has to freaking stop.

I get a call from these retards at least twice a day. I never pick up the phone if it's a number I don't recognize but they always leave a message looking for me. It's annoying as hell. How do I get them to stop calling me?

This # 1 888 768-7346 keeps calling my sons cell phone and harrasing him they call everyday. I have him on the do not call list! they need to be fined!$$$$

Recieved these calls every day consecutively on my T-mobile cell phone.  Always in the morning when I'm usually in my office.  Whenever I answer, no one picks up the other end.  Today(3/7) I called back and some answered!  He said "This is John Reicher from US Gold Processing Center, may I help you?"  I said, "Who are you?" And he repeated himself ans asked "May I help you?" again.  I replied, "Could you not call me anymore?"  And he answered, "Yes." Then promptly hung up on me. I researched the number online, and it has no company affiliation.  Also, US Gold Processing Center, doesn't exist.  This is just another irritating strain of calls.  Usually they're from 352 numbers based out of a Cingular/AT&T company in Weeki Wachee Florida.  I called that branch of the company, and asked them to trace the calls, and they did. Some of those numbers used to belong to the AT&T company itself, in the land line division.  However, they stopped using those numbers ages ago, and they've probably been recycled.  I'm really getting sick of this, and I mean to find a way to stop the calls.  It's proving difficult, because when I block a number, they find three more to call me with.  I'm not going to give in and change my number.

I have given my cell number online ordering free stuff, samples, sweepstakes, business, etc for over 5 years now, and have never been called by anyone unless requested them to call or was told on site that I WILL be called.  Never from this annoying number. Point is that 95% chance they didn't get it from online places...they get our numbers the way most telemarketers do...they have list of numbers, including cells, starting with 000-000-0000 to 999-999-9999.  Most telemarketers know it is bad practice to call cells, fewer prospects since numbers aren't listed.  Only small percentage of home phones unlisted overall.  I did telemarketing for 3 years for a vacation resort and twice weekly I was mailed a list of numbers in numerical order, some with names by number, some without, called ALL.  We write personal checks, they go thru several processes before they reach you again.  Some people work on the side making phone lists while at supposedly secure banks, etc, and they WILL DO SO as long as the pay is MORE than actual job.  Two checks for just aggrivating US!!!

I too have been getting these calls non stop it's really annoying, but if you ask them questions about how they came across your info.  Where they got it, how they know about you, they hang up I haven't gotten a call back from them again.

have been receiving calls from this number on my cell phone -UP TO 15 A DAY!!!!!! - when I answer they hang up, then re-call!!!! when I've tried to call the number back, it's always busy.  I don't know who they are, but would like to find out who to report them to......additional number, same m.o. is 1-866-437-3956

They wanted my bank info as well. So I decided to have fun with them and made up abunch of information for the scammers. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!

I took daniel Advise and call that number.... Seems like thats the number to call to get dont what needs to be done... Dont call the number that calls u... Call the 383 number... and ask to be put on the do not call list.. I'll update with weather or not they stop calling in a few days.

Ok, 4 days later and no more calls. I would recommend calling these ppl, asking for a manager and telling them to stop calling your God D@mn house.

Started getting calls 2 days ago from this # I screen all calls so needless to say I haven't talked to a "human" yet. Next move will be to answer then hit my # key rapidly for around 6 to 8 times. I've used this tactic before with some success. It supposedly freaks out the computer dialer @ their end and their system drops the #. Good Luck

I've been getting calls from these bastards too. After reading the forum, I clicked on the link provided in will's comment, called the number, 888-383-2282, was on hold for like 3-5 minutes and a woman answered. After asking for a manager, she had me explain what the problem was. I told her not to call my God D@mn house anymore and she supposedly put me on a no call list. I'll comment back in a couple days to let you all know if it worked or not.

These People keep calling me, I answer, someone tells me to hold on they are transfering me. Then, someone else gets on the phone and tells me I'm aproved to get a 7,500 dollar credit limit for a credit card, I just to tell him where to send it, I told him I don't want a credit card, I'm still trying to pay off my last one, from my bank.  He said oh, you owe money, and then hangs up one me, about 2 hours later someone calls back, I'm sick of this, they aren't the only ones either, its like how did they get my cell number, I haven't given it out to hardly anyone, and I don't fill things out online with my number, they are harrassing me, and I work nights and the first call comes in right about the time I'm almost completely out.

they call me everyday, at least 10 times a day,  they leave no voicemail, the more i ignore, the more they call. i called them back once and a recoreded male voice said it was "credit line gold card" and to call them back during office hours.
i dont know how they got  my number and why they constantly harrass me, but it seriously needs to stop

I have been receiving calls from this number since Monday. When I answered on Monday the caller said he was a rep with "Credit Line Gold Card" and I was "approved" for a gold card and that I need an active checkings or savings account to qualify. Advised agent that I wasn't interested and he said I could improve my credit score. I hung up and have been receiving AT LEAST 10 calls a day but when I answer the person calling "politley" hangs up the phone. I am curious to know how my number was given out and who the hell are these damn scammers trying to get everyones info!!!!!!!!!

After 5 days of their BS, I just changed my cell #, f*** them.

i've recently been recieving calls from this number but they hang up when i answer and if i dont answer they just keep calling. wtf over!!!!!! when i did call back a man answered and then hung up on me and then he tried calling back 3 times. i finally answered and they hung up!

I have been receiving 6-10 calls on my cellphone everyday from this number. I called the number, asked to be taken off of their call list. They said it would take 48 - 72 hours to be removed. It's been 92 hours and I am still receiving 6-10 calls a day! What can I do to make them stop?
