I have called the police on this company for harassment and extortion. A woman named Anisha Cornelia called me multiple times with false claims from the state of Colorado. I was able to get the state to verify that the claims were false and have filed a case against her with the FTC and the local police. Given the opportunity, I will press charges. These people are definitely criminals.

It is a company called PRI and they collect for Medical companies like Tri-Health and such...mainly local hospitals. If you owe a medical bill of any amount from even up to 10 years ago they purchased these accounts and have the right to call you to collect the debt. They are ruthless and so so rude. I had a 3000.00 bill from 5 yrs ago that my insurance didnt pay 50.00 of and these idiots blew it up to 300.00. I paid the hospital the 50.00 and sent them the bill...they are pissed and still call wanting "their portion". I am having a lawyer call them on Friday to get the madness to stop. Over inflating jerks!

I called the number and it was a place called TRI looking for my daughter. I have told them for 6 month that I didn't know where she was out, but it didn't do any good. Today I call finally got my number removed from their list. Had to get nasty with them and threatened them that I would use a 10 line dailing computer like they use and tie up their lines for two or three days. If I make political calls it is not illegal.

They call and ask for my daughter, and then hang up after finding out im her mother.

They call my cell phone about 8 times a day.  Have been for over a year.  I never answer so why would they keep calling

After several messages on my cell, I returned the call.  The guy asked if I was "so-and-so", I said "no".  He asked if I was ever "so-and-so".  No.  Then he said that he would remove my number from their database.  I asked what is PRI.  He repeated "are you so-and-so", to which I replied, "no matter how many times you ask me, I am still not that person nor have I ever been". He said "then it is none of your business who we are and what we do".

Got my first call. Saud to call 1-888-773-8452. Said they had tried to contact me by mail, which is not true. I called the number. They answered, "PRI." I asked what they did at PRI and was told, "...sit in chairs and talk on phones."

Getting calls all the time. Message says not a sales call. Just want information. I won't give any personal information to Ms Covington who appears not to even exist. Message repeats 2+ times on each call.

I got the same call on my cell phone today, didn't answer -- no voicemail. I'll just assume that it's a collection agency of some sort.

HaHaHa. You people are ridiculous. Is this your contribution to society? Harassing poor people. Most of whom have already lost everything, and are just trying to support their family. Sure, companies have a right to collect money owed to them. But, your tactics go way beyond any reasonsible attempt to collect a debt. Oh well, there will always be people like Premier Recovery Inc. Just a word of advice to any person thats recieving calls from this company. If they are calling you on a cell phone, simply save ALL the numbers they call from into one contact in your address book. Then you can select no ringer for that contact and all its numbers. They can call you till Jesus comes back and you will never know or care as the phone just never rings, and the only way you will know is if you check your missed calls.

Sure seems funny that the caller ID shows as Covington, KY and they ask you to call a Ms. Covington. I just reported them to the BBB asking them to investigate them. They are a ruthless bunch of hounds with no consideration for human feelings. Next time they call I be recording THEM so I can play it for my lawyer.

Someone from number 888-773-8452 calls and is very rude and has issues with hanging up on people. These people are beyond rude and are extreme game players. They phone and don't even have a clue as how to talk with a person. They only know how to spout off whatever they feel in the moment and hang up on you. They want to do all the talking and make threats and again... hang up. I called them and tried to reach a supervisor but they straight hang up the second the call connects. If someone did have the notion to pay this company it would be impossible. I think the main training they get is a phone and told to call numbers and annoy people and to hang up when they hear a phone ring. They don't understand when told they have the wrong person, they just get rude and hang up. I do wonder how they ever get anywhere with the way they do business. They are more of a circus at best.

the call is for another person that is not in my home. I am the only one that lives at my home. I want to report this unwanted call that is not.

Your company buys Bad Dept from places like Sears, Wards, Nordstroms, JC Pennys, Dillards and many other places.  You buy that bad debt for pennys on the dollar and then constantly call and harass people even if you have the wrong number.  You are rude to people and make idle threats like, YOu might have to stand in front of a Judge, We have contacted your Human Resources and they are going to garnish your check and many other Bull Krap idle threats.  

You called my cell phone number that I had just gotten from Sprint and asked for somebody I have never met in my life.  You called me for months and I still get calls from your Pathetic Company for some Chick I dont know.  I have put you on my IGNORE CALLER ID LIST because your company is REETARDED and a bunch of Scum Bags !   Next time you call I am going to answer just for the fun of it and Cuss you OUT Big Time.

caller keeps calling and harrassing my daughter, first on her cell phone and now at he work. She refuses to mail proof of claim or debt --my daughter had her identity stolen -- but has no outstanding debt. Now she has spoken with daughter's HR and asking personal questions---if my daughter looses her job, I will hold this rude woman responsible. Rude person has been reported to FTC, cease and desist letter sent and still continues--I am going to forward her calls to the State Attorney General's Office and let them handle her. See if she is as rude to them and see how long before they find her!

I saw this number on my "missed calls" list in my cell phone. I called it back, the guy who answered knew my name immediately (they have caller ID that connects your # with your account immediately).

The guy was very rude. I do have some debt, it was a hospital bill, apparently these guys just bought the account. I fully plan on paying my debt but when these people are rude I put them at the bottom of my priority list. The rep actually hung up on me. If they want to be like that it will take a very long time to get my money. I pay people who are easiest to work with. You want to be difficult? Wait at the back of the line.

This PRI company has been calling me and asking if a corey ashcroft works here. I told them no. They called more than once. They mailed me a letter asking me info on this Corey Ashcroft and gave me Corey's address. Wanting me to fax back this form letter with any info I have. The phone number on the form is 859-655-7670 and there fax is 859-431-0520 The name at the bottom of the form letter is Barbara Mattel.

They call constantly leaving voicemails for a guy name Guy James Aboney... and i can't delte the voice mails either. They are wasting my minutes.

This company got balls, I have called them back 4 times and told them to remove me from there calling list and they still call, they called back 2 more times on 2-10-2009 so i called them back and this time informed them that if they call me 1 more time they will be sued that im on the National do not call list, So lets see if they call back if they do im turning them in to the do not call list and suing them and i may get up to $10,000.00 for doing so and i think everyone should do the same thing and closed these scum bags.

If PRI is real, then why on their website it asks to contact them at 1(800)776-0707? Which is most definitely not this 1(888) number, which is the same number everyone else gets.

Okay, I get calls from this PRI about 10x's a day saying i owe money and then insist on being extremely rude, calling my mom an idiot for raising such a irresponsible girl and called her a liar etc. etc. I am 18 years old, but since they say it's a problem with the bank i'm currently useing, shouldn't i get a notice from the bank insted of the witches at pri? And how do I stop them from calling my house?

I nencourage you to complain to the better business bureaus and to send them a cease a desist letter. Tell them you will deal with the original creditor then do so. Dave Ramsey has a great get out of debt plan. That will stop all calls.

I have been getting harrassing phone calls from 888-773-8452 asking to speak to my daughter.  They won't tell me who they are and are really nasty.  Of course, I won't let them talk to my daughter and I won't give them her number.  How do I stop these harrassing calls?

I got a voicemail from these people today...more lies.  "We've sent you several pieces of mail...we are TRYING TO HELP YOU."  Etc.  It was ridiculous.  There was no mention of a debt owed (real or imagined).  Then I found this webpage.  Thank you, everyone, for sharing yuor stories.  I won't be dealing with these people.

Man continues to call home. Person they are calling for no longer lives here. We have given them the new contact information and yet they still call us. Today I once again told the caller that the person did not live here and that they NEED TO QUIT CALLING. He replied "NO I WILL NOT QUIT CALLING, I WAS GIVEN THIS NUMBER IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THEY NO LONGER LIVE TEHRE." He then proceeded to say that I was too young to talk to him, although I am a grown adult and that he needed to speak to my parents!!!! Then ended by saying well I am just gonna keep calling.
