Definitely did not appreciate the approach. They left a voicemail for my husband to "confirm his appointment" as though he had already made one. It left us both VERY confused an annoyed at the assumption that we'd show up. The tactic alone will prevent me from ever accepting any offer made through Metro Marketing....and I'm in advertising, so I feel like that's saying a lot.

its 100% scam...metro's message is also redirect from scam.

It's a legitimate free doctor's screening. Not kidding.

I get the same calls at my office, when calling businesses it could be likely they will find a problem, associate with your job and encourage you claim workers comp. Anyone who did make an appointment under these pretences should report it to the BWC for investigation

Called about a free chiropractic consultation in Dallas. I asked for the doctor's name and practice address, which was provided. In googling the info, I come up empty handed, so the doctor is obviously new or has a very very small practice. Also, the telemarketer informed me the free consult was only available if I called them back at their toll free number, and would not be honored if I called the doctor directly....doubt I'll call back.

Someone named Jessica called and said they were setting up free chiropractic appointments for a Dr. Eliopulos in Cincinnati. I took down the number and said I'd call back if interested. Probably won't, since this is apparently something they do all over the place - sounds scam-worthy to me!

called about a free consult for chiropractor in Minneapolis. Im not calling back.

They called me about this free offer in Pennsylvania. The woman's name was Ann Marie for a Dr. Ries. Anyone in the office could call for a free consultation. I was suspicious because of all background noise. Sounded like a telemarketer than a doctor's office.

They called us about a free chiropractic consultation in Maryland. The woman's name is Karey. When I asked her for their business phone number ( not the 888 number ), she said that's the only number we can call. I don't think I'll call them back

I've read up on this number since I just got a call today. Apparently it is not a scam- it's a large group of chiropractors and they do this once a year to get new business and it's done through a large telemarketing center. Not a scam, just kind of annoying.

Please if you have not reported them - do so now. Just an FYI they also call Police Station, Fire Departments and Hospital Emergency Rooms.

Yeah but the conditions that they expect you to work under are horrible. They expect you to work a 4 or 5 hours shift with no break. Then they compare to an assembly line - person that pointed out that on an assembly line you usually receive a morning break (on the company) a lunch and an afternoon break was soon let go. Services are real but I wouldn't schedule because the place is run like a sweat shop. Could you image being expected to handle over 100 calls an hour for five hours with no break?

This phone number called mny place of employment and was extremely high pressure to set up this appointment for free consultation. Refused to take no for an answer. I set up appointment knowing I was going to call back and cancel a few hours later just to shut them up and get off the phone with me. I have received about 10 calls from them in the past 2 weeks at my place of employment AFTER I cancelled my appointment and told them to remove mny name from their call list. Made it VERY clear I did not wish to be contacted nor did I have any interest in their services. They continue to call every other day and will not leave me alone. I am reporting them to the better business beauroux with negative comments and also reporting them to the local news stations about how they continue to harrass me.

This number called the movie theater that I work at, saying they were calling local business to offer 2 free chiropractic exams I never got a name and he kept really pushing for me to make an appt. seemed kinda shady so I took the number and hung up.

Hi all, I am an employee @ Metro Marketing, located in central NJ. It is indeed a telemarketing firm, & I work in the department Chiropractic Care, and our number is 1-888-774-6369 (1-888-SPINE69) In my department, We work with over 500 chiropractors throughout the country, scheduling appointments with residents in their towns for the free consult/screening. It is not a scam, just a way to boost clientel. And it does work. Even I scheduled an appt for myself with one of the participating chiros that was in my area.... definitely not a scam. Just felt like adding my input! ;)

I got a call from this number offering free consultation. I have to say, I thought it was a scam but went through just to see what happens. So I went to this chiropractor's office in Sterling, VA. I told them that I was offered free consultation and they had me fill out basic information. A friend of mine scheduled for same time as me so the chiropractor was able to see us at same time. He examined her first, asking questions and took x-ray for free. Unfortunately, we had to split so she didn't get chance to go over her x-ray...but he told us to reschedule to finish the session. So this number is definately NOT A SCAM.

How did it go?
I got the call too and it was for a place close to where I work and it is actually a business and the doctor they said.

I got this call as well for a Chiropractor in Amherst, NH. They're not a scam. Seems like a good way to build up on clientel, but would rather have the Chiropractor himself call me instead of a sales company.

got the call setup the appointment, and called the chiro office to comfirm.... apparently not a scam

This appears to be a direct marketing campaign for a chiropractor group or organization. The call center is in NJ, as I asked when I changed my appointment. I will go to the "free screening" offered in the promotion to a Dr. Alvarez in Miami where I live. On the one hand it seems like an innovative way for a new doctor to establish a clientele from scratch. On the other hand it smacks of high pressure sales. We'll see. I will post the results of my experience on Thursday after my appointment.

Someone named Angie called to say they were setting up free chiropractic screening for a Ron Marsh. I told them we would get back to them. They gave me the number 1-888-774-6369 to use when we called back. I will not call, seemed fishy to me.

High pressure call to set up free consultation with chiropractor. I suspect our phone number was sold by www.haband.com to this telemarketer.

Chiropractic office - Dr. Alex Chernyavsky at 4064 Lakeland Avenue N., Robbinsdale, MN - Using telemarketers to set up free consultations. I actually did sign up.
