I had a $7.50 charge on my visa bill for getnewone.com, 888-775-7814, Florida.  It's bogus.

I just looked on my credit card statement also I got charged $7.50, I'm on hold with my cc company now.  this has got to stop.  I want to know how they get our cc #'s

I also received a $5.90 charge on my Visa credit card from getnewone.com. I got hit at the same time I used my card to purchase a download from JibJab.com.  That was the only time I used my card in the month of November.

We also got the $7.20 charge and have bought from jonas brother merchandise....

This is a scam and a fraud. I called the helpline on getnewone.org, as there is no getnewone.com, and it is an invalid number. Their email contact address is also invalid.

WHEN THIS HAPPENS, YOU NEED TO CALL YOUR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY AND HAVE YOUR CARD DEACTIVATED, THEN CHANGE YOUR CARD NUMBER!!!
According to some info on the net, this is a scam where they are checking to see if the card is good & if you notice before they submit a larger fraudulent charge.

Also, when asked if you want to persecute if they find out who this is, SAY YES! We need to stop whoever this is.

Had a charge of 5.90 on my credit card with this telephone number listed on it.  Called the 888 number and it doesn't exist.

well one thing..i had the same happen to me and i shop at jonasbrothersmerch.com..

they must hack that site along with a few others..

I'm seeing a pattern. We only had it happen after makeing a purchas from Jonasbrothersmerch.com also.

I did not receive any calls from the 888 phone number that I am aware of but, I just received a CC statement for a Visa I do not use.  Yes, getnewone.com got me too.  $7.50 on 11/20.  No such .com exists however if you google who is getnewone.com you'll get a person's name, address and phone #. The name was Andrew Bransford at 4469 Stella Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30342 and yes there was a phone number listed (717)657-7821 we called the number at just after midnight.....it was a cell phone & went straight to voice mail! By the way, a reverse look up on the number says IT is registered in Pennsylvania! We called our Visa provider who did a quick search & said the charge was a fraudulent charge & removed it.  We had to close the account! Hope somebody gets these jerks!

This seems to be related to getnewitems charge of around 7 dollars.  I got the charge on a mastercard that I never use.  I used it at a QuikTrip gas station once before the charge.  Those are the only 2 charges for over the last 3 months, so it has to be some guys really good at picking credit card numbers.  The charge on mine was on November 19th BTW.

We also had this happen to us on my daughter's card and she had purchased from Jonas Bros site also!

Got a charge for $5.90 as well with the same heading. Never heard of it. never even answered a phone call from that # but must've somehow wormed into my phone information. How the hell do they get your bank info???? Bunch of Hackers I guess. Money makes the world go around. Unfortunately I don't have enough to go around :(

Yes I did use my debit card on the jonasbrothersmerch.com last month and also got a 7.50 charge from this getnewone a few weeks later.

I received a charge on my Citi Mastercard on 12/1 for $7.50.  I only used my credit card at some local stores and restaurants.  The only online store I used was metrostyle.com, Jonasbrothersmerch.com, and The Traveling Vineyard back in October.  In store was Stop and Shop, Borders, Cristos, and Polcari's.  Anyone use their card at these places?

I also have a charge for $5.90 on my credit card and when I tried to research the number or website, neither one exits.  I will now have to call the bank and cancel my credit card.  What a mess!

Just opened my credit card statement and found a $7.20 charge from getnewone.com  Checked on-line and found no website, but found this.  Cancelled credit card, ordered a new one.

i had a charge of 5.90 as well.  it was pending the other day but just went through today.  i tried to look up the website and call the 888 number but they both don't exist!  i had to call and cancel my debit card and get a new one too - in a week!  i'm so upset!

I also got a charge of $7.20 to my check card.  I have no idea what this is for.  It was listed on my bank statement as electronics.  I never received a call from the company (getonenow.com), however, when I called the number 1-888-775-7814, I was told that it was not in service.  I also, had to have my check card cancelled, and a new one will be sent.

I have one too!  They got my old card,  I cancelled it and ordered a new one which isn't even here yet and they got my new card as well.  WTH?
