Got a phone call saying they where from a law office, but didn't mention which one and why there is a case on me or from what company. Again just to call the number. The only difference is before they threatened to come to my work or house at some time and this is a warning, this time they called and said this is a reminder that we will be out to see you and to keep yourself available. I guess they are trying to step up the scare tactics a notch. I will re-post tomorrow to let you know that they didn't come.

This is a big scam, I got the same type of calls for weeks and then I finally told them to come serve me and I looked forward to it so I could see you was trying to scam me and they guy said ok, I'll see you tomorrow between 2:00 and 5:00. He never showed.............BIG SCAM, BEWARE.

some guy posing as a process service called me over 10 times saying i needed to call 888-778-6049 to make payment arrangements with a loan i had and i said no and he said i will be service you a paper at ur home or jobe if u don't call.  i said to guy to come bring me tha papers it is ok to bring me tha papers then he said i will bring them on Munday, march 21 btween 12:00 oclock and 5:00 oclock and now its a week later and no man come with papers but the creep is still callin and i still tell him to come

My 72 year old dad has never had a payday loan in his life and one of these scammers called him and scared him to death and he ended up sending his entire social security check to them. So I am out to stop them and I will. Knowledge is Power, learn about their scams and report them to all agencies and call or e-mail Budd Hibbs, he will tell you what to do also. I don't understand how these criminals can sleep at night knowing they have scammed hard working old people. Anyhow, they will get there's. sooner or later they will be punished harshly.

Got a call from a Perry Miller who claims to be a private courier and tells me he has papers to serve me unless I call this 888 number and they will call him and tell him not to serve me, Well I told  that man to kiss my black a** and to kiss all of my dead family members a**es as well resting at the grave yard." - LOL

This Jeff Diaz has called my house twice and said I have a civil case but does not identify with who.  I stated he would be serving papers to my home and employment, tomorrow, November 10, 2010, if I do not comply and call him back.  What bogus operation is this?!

Yes these people are the scum of the earth, and they call everyone in your family and where you work. The man that called me was Larry Waters. He gave the same spill that he had papers on his desk and unless he heard from me today that he would be out to serve them to me at my home or at work on Monday March the 7th. But he call my mother and told her the same thing so who is he serving paper to and for what. What a horrible stupid lie. Both these messages were left on voice mail. I am total clueless as to what unpaid bill he is talking about.  I think they just want to scare folks into giving them credit card number or a bank account number and clean you out. I would not every call them and forget what ever lie they are telling you.

THIS NUMBER CALLED A FAMILY MEMBERS HOUSE IN MAINE.  I HAD ALREADY PERSONALLY  PAID FOR THE DEBT THIS  PERSON WAS CALLING ABOUT. I HAVE DOCUMENTATION  TO PROVE IT.  WE PAID $1170.00 DOLLARS A YEAR AGO. NOW THIS NEW COMPANY WHO ARE DEBT COLLECTORS HAVE IT INFLATED TO TWICE THAT AMOUNT. THIS IS BOGUS..SELLING DEBTS TO COMPANIES WHO SELL THEM TO COMPANIES AND FEED OFF OUR FEAR AND THEN DO NOT REPORT THAT THE DEBT HAS BEEN PAID?!?!?!??!  EVERYONE SHOULD KEEP THEIR DOCUMENTAION AS CLEAR AS POSIBLE. I called this number back and talked to some uneducated guy who was most likely high on drugs. It was about a payday loan that was included in a bankruptcy two years ago. He told me I still had to pay or I would go to jail! I'm pretty sure that is illegal.

Took me for 400.00 I changed my acct when I realized I was paying the wrong. People... They threaten to have me locked up etc...

I filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney Generals office about these guys after threatening to sue me and refusing to provide me proof of the debt they claim I had.  The refused to provide that information to myself still and told the WSAG's office that they have closed my file. (I bet they sold it to another collection agency if they think it is even remotely valid which it is not)

Bottom line, I have no idea what the debt they were going to sue me about was, they refused to provide proof of the debt and I turned them in to my state's attorney general.

Needless to say I have not outstanding bill that they claim that I have. I have asked them several times to send me a letter regarding what the bill is for and to this day I have received nothing from these people. My bills are paid on time and I take great pride in trying to keep everything in order even when I was laid off. Some people are not so lucky when they lose their jobs or life takes a terrible turn, divorce, death, lose of job.

Around the end of January 2011 I have gotten alot of calls from this number. They say that they are "process servers" and they are going to serve me court papers at my place of employment or at my home and that I need to make myself available today March 23 between the hours of 12pm and 5pm. Really? I do admit that I used online payday loans way back in 2008 but nothing recently and have paid them all of with the exception of maybe $100. They are saying that I need to pay over $3000 to satisfy my debt which is ridiculous. I have asked them over and over again to send me something in the mail such as the loan agreements that I signed, but to no avail. I don't have a problem paying what I owe but I do have a problem with someone trying to scam me out of money I do not have to waste.I recently went back through my saved emails trying to locate the loan documents that I signed with these companies and I have found them all and the total amount that I borrowed does not begin to add up to 3000 grand so I refuse to pay them that amount. I rather them just hurry and serve me the papers so that I can take care of this in court. I have my receipts saying that my loans were indeed paid in full with the exception of the $100.

I received a call today from an unknown number and a woman told me I was going to be served if I did not call this 888 number with my case number. She even had the balls to call my parents and leave a message that she had paperwork for me to fill out and I needed to call them. What the hell is wrong with people get a damn job like the rest of us. I work for attorney's and process servers do not call you they just show up. So whoever these people are they are out for your credit card or checking account information to clean you out. It is really a shame I am so glad my son found this information and thank you for all your posts on this.

I was just cehcking my work voice mail messages this evening.  A woman named "Jackie Taylor" called me on 01/04/11 and 01/05/11 stating it was regarding a "pending claim" and that she would come to either my job or my home to service me with papers.  No one came to see me in January regarding this...

I have been getting these calls also. They have now called my sisters work phone number and she works for a huge hospital. I would love to know how they got that extension. So anyway, they have passes messages to my family that "Nicole Davis" would be coming to my home or office to serve me papers. Papers of what? These people are a scam. They haven't showed up anywhere yet to "serve" me! If they are going to serve me.... well then go ahead and serve me!! It's that simple!

I got a voice message from this company at work today.  Mr. Brown - he told me he had paperwork to serve me at home or work regarding a pending civil manner.  He said I needed to call this number and give a file number to get details on the matter.  He said I needed to call back by Feb 28th or he'd see me.  So I guess I'll find out next week if he shows up.

I have been getting these calls for a few days now, not only at my home but at work too. They keep telling me I need to resolve this debt, or I will be served with a "notice of intent", The last call I received I acted indifferent to, the woman,"Kelly Jones",  told me she would see me today between noon and 5pm,(it was 4:10pm),  20 minutes later I get a phone call from a guy wanting to set up payment arrangements and I told him no, his reply was that i would be served with a notice of intent tomorrow.......but Kelly just told me SHE would see me today?????????

Glad I looked this numberb up!  I just got a call for the first time.  Said they would be coming to my house or work on Feb 28th to serve papers.  Really?  Never heard of a processor server calling!  Usually they just show up and hand you a paper...no before hand call!  I'm glad I looked this up and saw all of these posts...I hope they call back...so I can give them a nice run down of what I have found here.  Maybe that will get my number off their list!
