They gave me the same crap about college. I told them to take my number off their list, he asked me what's holding me back from continuing my college education, I told him that I'm in college and take my number off their list.
Obviously it's spam. These people are getting to be a little ridiculous, and they're all jerks, too. Like, oh I'm sorry I'm not making it easy for you to harass me... Idiots.

I did the servey and the girl was a complete see you next Tuesday. I ended it when she asked me my address and she told me in a really pissed off voice that a travel agent would be contacting me. Yay for me after I questioned her repeatedly, now I have these buggers harassing me every single day! I'll have to try blocking them all of them and hope it eventually works..

Ever since I did some dumb servey for some free cruise tickets. I must have been put on a calling list(harassment list rather!.) I knew it couldn't be real but I just did it for the heck of it. Ever since I have received about 25-30 calls from different numbers asking for someone else or don't know who I am, and they never leave a message nor can you call them back &expect anything other than a busy signal or to reach a call center. It's driving me insane, especially while at work or in class! If u try to block one number, another one will call. It seems the only thing to do is change your number to one that has never been used, or record a fax machine as your voicemail so they note your number is a fax #. Good luck!!

Keep calling and asking for someone else

If you are getting unwanted calls on your cell phone download the Youmail app. It blocks unwanted numbers and even send them to a customized voicemail message. I have all blocked numbers go to a message that says they have reached the National Do Not Call Registry. Youmail has tons of messages you can download for free.

The said they were calling from college support and asked for Eileen...notme.  When I said it was a wrong number they started asking for support and then by g up.  Called 5 times today...until I answered.

Got a phone call from this number at 7:41 PM ET tonight (9/12/12).  Personal cell phone.  I had been getting calls the past few days (2 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, and then this one) from strange cell numbers outside my area code.  I had let all of the others go (no voicemails on any of them) but decided to answer this one.

On the other end was a woman who spoke hispanic-accented English (but intelligible, not broken English).  She didn't identify herself or her company.  She asked for Michael and that they had received a request for information about attending college.  My name isn't Michael, and I told her that there was no Michael here and that they had the wrong number.  She rattled off my cell number and asked if she had the right number and I (foolishly) said yes, that was my phone number, and no, there is no Michael here.  She tried to give me a brief spiel about attending college and I told her I wasn't interested.  She tried to dig a little further, and I stressed I wasn't interested.  She gave a hasty goodbye and hung up before I could even get the phone off my ear.

Totally a scam.

Caller: read this post it is important

this number is a call center. they called me and hung up before i could get to the phone so i called the number back and recieved a message saying, " customer service we"ll call you," and they hung up quickly. it was a recording. i punched in the number and this site came up. i read all the post sand decided something needed to be done. so i called  the fcc and had to wait until the called me back. wail i was waiting i recieved another call from this number. this time there was somebody on the other end. they clamed to be from some collage enrollment program. they had my email, my name, and phone number. when i confronted them about tis number listed as a scam the guy got defincive and said this is a call center and hundreds of markettors use this number. i told him i did not want to talk to him and hung up. when the fcc called me back, they directed to the federal trade commission who is launching an investigation.

I got a call from this number this morning asking whether I am going to school in next 3 months. When I said no she cut the lane but i got the call again this evening. This is really annoying. She hasn't even answered when I asked who was she.

6 calls in 2 hours first time they let it ring forever.now every time after that,2 rings, then a hang up.B*****DS. I work graveyard shift,this is my sleepy time. And wont stop calling.

I went on Orbit and looked up cruises to see what deals were around for a vacation and two hours later I got the first call from this no. 888-779-3403. I did'nt answer cause I never answer a number I don' know. I told my kids not to answer if they get the calls since we asll share an account.

Calls, no one answers, they hang up on me.

This is an organization trying to get people to go to college. They called again today and finally answered me when I said hello. They are aggresive and need to be shut down. Please let me know what to do to get them to stop. Lawsuit?

I didn't start getting these calls until I posted an ad on Craigslist to sell a gift card and responded to jobs on CL. Never again will I use CL.
