This is NOT, NOT, NOT a legitimate company.  Please do not pay them anything!.  We disputed the charge through our banks.  We were all refunded our money except one couple but please keep in mind that we paid $150 each which isn't as great as many others who paid $1000 or more.  We also filed complaints with the BBB and Attorney General in Texas as well as our state, Ohio.

My friend booked about 80 people with this people and was dealing with someone name Katie.  She was fine with my friend because she is very nice but when I figured it out and did some research I called and tried to find out the name and the address of this company they were extremly rude and would hang up the phone.  If the do pick up the phone they won't give the address.  They got my friends so much money and now she is going thru the bank filing a dispute.  How can people rob like that .  Please do something to stop this scam

My friends and I were scammed, please note:

My friends and I received a faxed flyer at work regarding a ?48 Hour Summer Sale!!? (Vacation Sale).  We called the listed number, 1-888-779-5550, World Wide Travel (3346 East, T.C. Jester #H-4, Houston, Texas 77018) and inquired about the Las Vegas Special Listed.  We were informed by sales agent Eric Jacobs that we would receive 3 days / 2 nights in Las Vegas for $149.98 per person.  We were also informed that once this is paid through ?Check Only?, we would receive two free trips for very two trips booked.  We were informed that once paid, we would receive our travel vouchers in the mail (4 total, 2 (paid) + 2 (free)) at which point we had up to 15 months to book our trip.  We were informed that once you call to book your trip it would be an additional $49 per person for booking fees.  Unfortunately we did not check the Better Business Bureau, Rip Off Report or any other website as it was a scam.  We paid our money on 8/1/12 and received a certified envelope on 8/10/12 containing a promo code (110022) and telephone number to a Travel Center in Maryland 1-800-861-7313.  We called and were informed that you must pay an additional $49 to activate your special and $19 booking fee, each person.  In addition, each person would have to pay an additional $99 or more when you call to book your trip.  We were also informed that the promo code expires 5 days from the time you received your certified envelope.   We called back to World Wide Travel for reimbursement as we were not informed of the additional fees or the 5 day promo expiration.  We were sent to customer service at New World Wide Travel, 1-888-400-3957, (5675 Jimmy Carter Boulevard #729, Norcross, GA 30071-2965), left a message for the owner, Wayne Williams, and was informed that he responds quicker  to email.   I emailed Mr. Williams who stated he is a wholesaler who sale to companies like World Wide Travel who opens the deals up to the public.  Mr. Williams stated his company offers customer service for World Wide Travel in regards to questions about vacations, booking, etc.  however he could not refund our money.  Mr. Williams stated he could recommend a refund but it is not EXPECTED.  Mr. Williams followed up stating his recommendation was not favorable as we had 72 hours to cancel.  It however took 9 days to receive the information in the mail!!!!.   We called World Wide Travel again and were given the run around, people were changing their names however had the same voice.  We were informed by World Wide Travel that  we just got a bad agent that didn?t explain everything.  We were later informed that Eric Jacobs was moved to booking.  Although my friend booked through an agent by the name of Jackie that was no longer available either.  We are currently trying to dispute the charge through our banks as the withdrawal was made by Unleashed Services, not World Wide and it was a scam.  Please, Please, Please do your research before purchasing services like this as consumers are taken advantage of everyday and there is limited assistance to recover your loss.

I received a fax and when I called a man with a very deep voice was rude when I tried to get detailed information.  I then spoke with a supervisor who promised to speak with the representative and also promised a free trip to another location when I book my reservation.  I hope this is not a scam.
