They are extremely annoying -- I blocked the phone number they were using and now they are using a new phone number to call me from. And I am NOT NANCY RIVERA!

The call saying there from a credit bureau and leave a docment number but don't say who the looking for I tried calling back and it say no one avala. To take the call

Kenny, thanks for the info, just got a call from them today, live person who was extremely rude, and when I told her she was required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to identify herself, her company, why she was calling, she just laughed. I hung up, don't owe anybody.

Call was an automated robo-call from "Mercantile Adjustment Bureau" that is database driven. The fields in the database were not filled in on this call and so the automated voice filled in the blanks with "NAME" etc. If you want to send them a "Cease and Desist" letter (an example can be found at http://credit.about.com/od/debtcollection/a/ceaseanddesist.htm) their contact info is:

I get the same thing! They call multiple times a day and no one says anything when I answer. My phone also reports that it is a 3-way call.

Number calls and no one is on the line when answered. This has happened several times over the last week.

This number will call you over and over with nobody on the other end. When you return the call a recording says "please stay on the line for another available agent". A woman then answers "hello". I said I,m just calling you back, the call must have been dropped. She answers " let me find out why they are calling you" She returns on the line and says "we are looking for Dwane pemberton". I reply and state my name and that I am not that person. She then hangs up after saying ok.
