Just got a call from patty allen,same sanerial told me i was going to be served, they have to be atopped,i am a disabled vet and my wife is on hospice, she wanted 1000.00 right now, i said i don't. Owe anything and hung up june 11 2012

I have received several calls as well - they continue to tell me they'll "serve papers to my place of residence and or place of employment" but have yet to do so. I called back a number they left me once and they mentioned a loan - which was not valid.

first off they call my place of work and my parents to tell them i have warrants out for hot checks, turns out it is an old credit card that they said i defrauded a bank on and were going to serve me, please do last i check a debt on a cc isnt hot checks get your story straight

I just got a voicemail from a Lee Shelton claiming he needed to serve me papers for a bad check and said I could contact the plaintiff at 888-712-4956. I called this number immediately as I dont even write checks. The company name is Johnson York LLC. They tried to tell m I had a bad check from 3/28/2010 on a payday loan from Net Loans. I advised them I never had a loan from that company nor have I heard of them. I asked the woman who called herself Angela to send me proof of all of this through the United States Postal Service. She refused and said someone would be coming to serve me personally at my home or office. She tried to get me to "settle" over the phone to avoid a lawsuit. I did not grant her request. BEWARE! These people are clearly trying to prey on people. This is horrible. Someone should be able to do something about this!!!

Please post the company address and names of employees you did "business" with.

I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM PAT ALLEN TODAY REPRESENTING JOHNSON-YORK, THREATENIGN TO HAVE A PROCESS SERVER AT MY WORK TOMORROW FOR AN UNPAID PAYDAY LOAN,. I HAD A PAYDAY LOAN IN THE PAST, CALLED LOAN CO, THEY HAD NEVER HEARD OF JOHNSON-YORK, CALLED MY BANK, SAME THING. I KEPT CALLING THIS PAT ALLEN BACK, TRYING TO GET INFORMATION. SHE HUNG UP ON ME 3 TIMES, THE LAST TIME THREATENING TO SUE ME FOR HARRASSMENT. HOW DO YOU PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THIS????

I also sent them money after receiving a threatening message at work that stated I would be served court papers to pay a past due payday loan.  I set up a payment plan, but then investigated this number and the company.  I will report them to the FTC and the attorney general and the BBB.  Most loans like this will make a settlement with you, and they did not offer anything.  Another number they call from is 1888-390-5129.

I recieved a call from this number too, thinking they where legit i gave them monies, they sent me an e-mail receipt.  I will be reporting this number to the Better Business Burea and whomever else I need to report it to!!  Company Logo is JOHNSON YORK LLC.  Leslie Kramer Settlement Administrator.

Linda, is full of it. She probably works for the company...We would know if we applied for a payday loan & recv'd the money or not. Which in this matter many of us have NOT!!

I'm not idiot.  People need to check their bills.. Those of you whom claims never took out payday loan check your email & bank statement.. .. I feel great for paying them.. not SCAM Co.. Thank you

Do you have the number or webiste for this Harrassment Hotline?  I have heard from this Bob Williams and many others and would like to check on them.  It is becoming more and more every day and is a little scary,  even if it is a scam.

Got a call from this number, comes up on my phone as 00000000000, its a collections agency, if you call them they will take you off their call list.

Ok I saw this on the news, these people usually get your information online if you've tried in the past to get an online payday loan, whether you got the loan or not...this is where they get the info.  Now...that coupled with scare tactics and a lil old profesionalism is how these scumbags get away with stuff like this...it may be long, but it won't be forever.  They WILL get caught!  I called the Harrasment Hotline, who assured me 100% without a doubt that this is a BIG SCAM!!!!

Their number appears as 0000000000 in caller ID.  They mumble the name of the person who is being served (not me).  I have had 10 calls.  Each time it is a different law office to contact.  Looked up the lawyers; none exists.  Not sure what game they are playing besides wasting my time.  
I think that someone has to be identified to be served.  Calling and leaving a message and in my case, I don't know who they are calling, doesn't seem to be a legal serving of a notice?

They said I'm summoned not sure why.

This company is not SCAM... I did owe payday loan they help me pay this as a Settlement.  Did recd ltr the same day.. All you guys claim is a SCAM is because no one whats to pay their bill. Those who owe should pay...  Thank you JOHNSON YORK

So, I just received a call from a number that read 000-000-0000 on my caller id. Last week I received the exact same call with a computerized message saying that they were going to serve me papers for a bad check, however they gave me another number to call. I am just going to throw my two cents in. A debt collector is required by federal law to send you validation of the debt within 5 days of you calling them. A collection agency is not allowed to divulge personal information about you or the debt that they are collection to any third party. My advice to anyone receiving calls from these morons is do not call them back! This "company" is clearly trying to scare uninformed consumers into making payments for debts that they do not owe. You can try to report these scammers to your states Attorney General and the FTC. I have done this in the past, but I live in Colorado Our AG's office was unable to provide much help.

Yes I too just got a call from these scammers as well claiming I owe an ace payday loan. I'm posting cause you all helped me realize these were scammers and I want to help someone else. They claimed they can not mail nor fax me any info so I said I don't have an bank account so how can I mail you your so called money and oh my how much info they have on me how did they get it. I did what another post said and called her bluff she got mad real rude with an attitude and hung up in my face. Do anyone know how they get your license number??

Patty told me that the money was deposited into a citibank account which i never had, she said she will serve me with papers at my job i told her to do so. i am not paying these people a dime, i do which that their would stop calling my job and cell number. it is so f****ng annoying and makes me very upset. Who the hell are these people. Can someone help with a number a person to contact. Then another company is going to call about the same s*** with some fake a** name. Please some one help.

They are doing the same thing to me and they only difference is that I don't stand for these types of people and will put an end to this SCAM really fast!!!!!

Some crazy women named Pat Allen at Johnson York LLC 888-786-0630 ext 3020 knew some tiny bits of information about me and thought I was going to pay money from years ago THAT I DON'T OWE.  She would never verify her company through a fax or in writing - kept claiming they had already sent verification to me.  She even went as far to leave my boss a voicemail asking if it was company policy to let "employees write bad checks in the companies name!" out of no where.  When I called to tell her I knew it was a scam and to stop calling me, she hung up 3 different times - but not before telling me I "was the reason that the US was in such bad shape - you don't pay your bills!" and THEN when I called back stating I wanted verification that they would not contact my employer again she yelled "Stop calling me unless you want to pay your bill!" and hung up on me.  Some PROFESSIONAL scam aritists these people are...please don't fall for it.
