Full Spectrum is an LLC that has only been in business for about a year. Do a business entity search on the California Secretary of State website to view their info-which is PUBLIC. http://kepler.sos.ca.gov/

There is even a business registrar name for your viewing pleasure. The name does not belong to an attorney.

Feel free to search for yourself here: http://members.calbar.ca.gov/fal/MemberSearch/QuickSearch

According to manta.com -They are classified as an "unclassified establishment" with 1-4 staff members. Most lawyers are registered as "attorney offices"  with the correlating classification code.

Doesnt really sound like they have an attorney on site. They look like they are going to need one though.

Lake County Sheriff's Office warns of phone scam

Sue Bergheim Reporting
kjamnews@madison.threeeagles.com

The Lake County Sheriff?s Office is warning residents of another phone scam that is hitting the area.  Chief Sheriff?s Deputy Tim Walburg says residents have been getting calls from people from Full Spectrum Litigation ? which does not exist and is a scam company.  These people are looking for credit card or bank account information to settle a debt related to U-S Bank or other financial institutions.  Walburg says the representative on the phone says they will try and settle a debt they say you owe.  He says they will ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, and address, and they will ask if you would like to settle out-of-court for a small fee, which amounts to less than half the amount they are saying you defaulted the bank.
The number they are calling from is 1-888-787-7602.  Walburg says the representative will also say something about sending the case off to court and that it could result in criminal charges.  The calls that the Lake County Sheriff?s office have received from residents say the scam calls are related to bad checks to merchants.  Walburg says residents should be aware that no prosecution like what this company is saying can happen in Lake County.
If you have received a call or have any questions about these calls, you are encouraged to contact the Sheriff?s Office at 256-7615.

Technically you can not call them and tell them they are going to be sued, especially on time-bared debt. It is also illegal to call anyone other than them and tell them that said person is going to be sued... another big no-no! You called my relatives and Myself and stated that I was being sued by you on behalf of the bank. The bank wrote it off, you now own it and it's past SOL. Major no-no, you also did not disclose you are a debt collection company, another illegal action on your part. So from how I see it, you posed as a lawyer office (illegal), you said you where suing me (illegal) you called 2 other parties and discussed the debt (both illegal), and you refused to confirm the debt in writing. So far you have nothing on me and I have a whole lot on you. I will be contacting a lawyer soon, eh but I don't expect anything especially since there are other POLICE DEPARTMENTS across the country looking into your business handlings... There was even a report in a newspaper from the police to call if your company had any contact with them.

This is a SCAM, pure and simple. Do not pay them a single cent. If you want to pay off whatever debt that they are trying to collect, I suggest that you call the original creditor and work out repayment terms.

I received several calls from this company today. They gave me a similar song and dance about coming to serve me court papers, prosecuting me with criminal charges, putting a lien on my property, blah...blah...blah. They also called many of my neighbors and family members as well and made the same outrageous claims to them.

Full Spectrum is a criminal organization that is most likely run by people with criminal records. They are trying to make an attempt to extort you into paying a debt that's more than most likely not on your credit report by leveraging the FUD factor (fear, uncertainty, doubt). These tactics are illegal and immoral. Legitimate collections agencies only use legal action as a last resort, not the first resort.

I find it sad that there aren't more requirements on who can buy debt portfolios.

Oh hell yes I had the first caller that called me who would not give me his name (because if you call my house you better give me a name and business or I will hang up) say and I quote "I did not know I had to walk on eggshells" I hung up and you better believe he called back with a different attitude. Now what is this about their tactics negating said debt in the first place where does one find such info about it.

These b*****ds called me and tried to make me pay some outlandish amount even tried to hard ball me by saying well if you refuse to pay 150 bucks as a down on payment plan then we are done.. I said hold on just a min I want to record this conversation.. So I set up my computer to record it. I said I want you to clearly state that I am offering you a certain amount and you are refusing said amount as payment per month.. Can I say that their whole tone changed.. Be smart know the law.. In most states refusal to accept an offer constitutes paid in full and if you can get them to say it on tape even better.

They called me too. Said im getting papers in a couple days to civil court. Talked to the manager named roger Hartman. I told him I called better business bureau and he three wayed us telling her they've been with them for twelve months and he told her that they had no right to tell me not to deal with then and she acted nervous. They want the money by tomorrow or I get the papers to go to court. What to do?

I went through the same bs. When I started asking them about their address and to spell out their names they started yelling and teling me they would sue me for harrasment. I spoke to "the Manager" and he said that I owe the money and shouldn't be asking any questions. One more phone call from them and I'll report them for harrasment.

I got a call today, first from someone telling me to call someone else. When I corresponded I was told the debt my husband owes from before we even met is now mine.It was in 2003.  I have talked with someone several times, and asked him about the company and locations. He wouldnt give me his name, but I have the name Sharon Walters. He proceeded to tell me they have a website. Well they do but it doesnt have any info at all except fluff. And as for address I was told they have one currently and that he works in the new office that is not listed yet. Neither of the addresses given match yours.

Umm hey Einstein, maybe you missed the sections that describe how this company attempts to collect FRAUDULENT REPORTS OF DEBT, meaning it's bogus to begin with.  Which bank do you work for, you're misinformed comments totally give you away.  You're not management, they know better, so you're either a teller or a call-center rep.  WAKE UP genius, the people you work for are spending EVERYONE'S money and have no intention of paying it back.....IDIOT!!

Because you paid them something, your time starts all over again.  It was noted on the credit bureau that the time is seven years from the last payment made.  She tried the same stunt on me saying I paid in 2007, I told her if anyone paid it was her also.  I also told her she would not get one penny from me on a debt that was over ten yrs old.  I might have paid, had I not become disabled.  No work no paycheck.  I have my social security, no home in my name and a ten yr old car, that I owe on.  I don't have anything to give her.  TX limitations are seven years.

I took this from my credit report, the debt they say I owe, isn't even on my report.  DUH, what do they do pull reports and try to scam/scare the money out of people?  I don't know but I don't owe and will not pay.

Just wanted to post and let everyone here know that I pulled my credit report and guess what, the debt they say I owe is not on my report and I now have their information. Full Spectrum Litagation did pull my credit report about ten days ago.- they have an address listed as 2910 E. Inland Empire Blvd, Ontario, CA 91764  I took this address off my credit report, so I would all pull your report, see if debt is listed anywhere, then start a writing campaign asking for all the information sending it certified mail, return receipt.  Then you will all have what you need to fight this scam of a company.  I refuse to be threatened and I will put all the information in writing to them with date, time of call, who I spoke with and the threats that were given to me.  GOOD LUCK

Got contacted by Full Spectrum and I was stupid - paid on it even though it is out of statute of limitations - they stated they were attorneys - that numerous letters have been sent to me....kept stating they were not "threatening" me - but kept bringing up lawsuit.....from what i can tell, i still owe the debt (10 years old) but if they sue, they won't be able to get a judgment...............one of the things that is convincing me they aren't on the up & up......what decent business resorts to making statements on a website like they have been doing?  As to the debt - I thought I had taken care of all my outstanding debts in the years after my divorce - but this one wasn't even on my credit report! if i had known, i would have taken care of it.  would have preferred to pay the people i actually owed, rather than these lying jerks.  waiting to hear from my attorney so i can determine the best way to proceed.

This company had phoned first the server, then she gave me a number.  I told her I would be home to serve me.  LOL  When I called the number the lady screamed at me, told me I had made a payment in 2007 which put me back inside the statue of limitations.  I let her know real quick that I had not paid on that load since 2001/2002.  She stated I did, I told her to send me something as if anyone paid on it - It must have been her.  I became disabled and live on Social Security, I have no job, I don't own a house, my car is 12 years old.  She claimed that she sent me a notice by mail, the only notice I recieved was from a company called Dynamic Recovery Solutions at P.O. Box 25759 Greenville, SC 29616-0759 and this was dated about two weeks before the call.  They have a website www.GoToDRS.com and the phone number listed is 877-858-4197 Now I am wondering if these are the same people or like everyone thinks is it a scam, it is as far as I can tell why would they sue someone like me over 1282.00 from 11 years ago.  She stated she didn't care how long ago it was, I signed the credit card slip so I owe.  Well I personally don't think her tactics are good, they need to be turned over to the FTC, as threatening people on the phone should be against the law.

You got served a summons, and then a court judgement within a matter of a few days??? That's an amazing move on the part of our legal system. For a company that cannot even grasp the concepts of legal debt collection, they sure know how to cast a spell on court system! Given the fact that your case must have some sort of magical legal powers, I'm not sure I want to help with your court costs, but you could certainly help everyone else out by providing the physical address of this (scam) company. I've been trying really hard to have them provide it themselves, so that I might communicate with them in the generally accepted means of legal communication (U.S. Postal Service), to no avail.

So i took half of your guys advice and ignored calls and letters now almost 2 months later i just was served with court papers in monroe at my place of business so much for the great advice. I'm going to post the link of the court case from the court website in the next few days of the action and would also like all the ones complaining on here to give up there personal information so i can call you and have you pitch in for an attorney for getting me into this mess to began with when i could have worked out a payment plan that was offered to me from citibank to began with. Cant wait to post the public case information and see what all you idiots have to say then. Be on the look out in the next few days. DONT FORGET TO POST YOUR NAME AND NUMBER AFTER I POST CASE INFORMATION SO I CAN GATHER FUNDS FROM YOU IDIOTS FOR TELLING ME TO IGNORE THEM.

That's just your way of getting individuals to call and inquire about a bill so you can have grounds.  If you are legal, leave your address and company name, that will tell the true story!  You call people not knowing who you are really looking for and give out information that you should not be giving out.  Tell me, under what legal grounds do you find that.  Show me the legal grounds under which this falls....POST IT SO ALL CAN SEE IF YOU ARE LEGIT.
