William Brewer full spectrum litigation call me threatened to summons me to court for an old account past the statute of limitations. Wanting me to give them my bank account info and make payment.  I'm not paying anything they are not a legit company. They also threatened me with criminal charges. I have done nothing wrong. When you pay it starts the statute of limits all over again. I'm not answering any of their calls. They area scam.

I had the same thing happen to me, did you get a reciept by mail or fax? because i am dealing with  a legal attorney on behalf of all of what is happened right now, i kept getting phone calls, they even started calling my boyfriends phone, turns out i paid the wrong people and now i have to go to court and settle everything.

Yes, they are a big scam.

The Lake County Sheriff?s Office is warning residents of another phone scam that is hitting the area.  Chief Sheriff?s Deputy Tim Walburg says residents have been getting calls from people from Full Spectrum Litigation ? which does not exist and is a scam company.  These people are looking for credit card or bank account information to settle a debt related to U-S Bank or other financial institutions.  Walburg says the representative on the phone says they will try and settle a debt they say you owe.  He says they will ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, and address, and they will ask if you would like to settle out-of-court for a small fee, which amounts to less than half the amount they are saying you defaulted the bank.
The number they are calling from is 1-888-787-7602.  Walburg says the representative will also say something about sending the case off to court and that it could result in criminal charges.  The calls that the Lake County Sheriff?s office have received from residents say the scam calls are related to bad checks to merchants.  Walburg says residents should be aware that no prosecution like what this company is saying can happen in Lake County.

My family received threatening phone calls from someone by the name of Robert. He left messages on our phone stating someone had a complaint about us and if we did not call him he was going to haveto make some legal decisions for us.

I just received a PRIVATE call from Melissa (in spanish) looking for me or my mom. I asked who was she and she said that it was Full spectrum Law Firm. I asked why was she calling with a PRIVATE number and if she was for real she should call back with a real number. She JUST did and the number is 9212630554. She said that there is a judgement against my mom and if I didnt settle with them the sheriff was going to go to my moms house. I told her to do whatever she needed to do, and advised that I was going to give her number to the police. She hanged up the phone.... This is a SCAM my mom doesnt owe any money.....she is 82 years old. We need to do something about these people.

i got a call stating that I was going to be taken to court due to not paying on a bill and that I had 48 hours to contact the company. I called back spoke to a veronica lawson her dircet line  909-204-5324 for the company Full Spectrum Litigation. I thought they where a ligit business. sound ligit on the phone.I went as far at to give them my information got a form faxed to me and sent it back to her while on the line the whole time. this happen this friday oct.26th.2012  When I got to work on monday I spoke to a couple of co-workers who told me to check them out for scam so I did and man am I thank full I got good friends.  I had to cancel my bank card.  and they did not get any money from me. I also posted the info on facebook so all my family and friends will be alerted.  I also am going to contact the BBB so they can also be alerted and hope they can put a stop to these syberbullies.

I just received a call from an "unknown" number asking when I would be home tomorrow so that they could serve me.  The gave me a phone number and case number and said if I called they could put a 6 hour hold on being served.  I immediately thought this was fishy so I called the given number and it was Full Spectrum Litigation.  The gentleman I talked to kept putting me on hold so he could "refer with counsell.". I gave him an email address to send me documents and he said I would have to contact them tonight or I would be served tomorrow and it would be a 3 day trial.  He also said they were going to seize my car, my house, etc.  the only document they emailed was one that they want me to sign agreeing to pay the debt before midnight.

What a total scam.  I am reporting this to the authorities as they possed as process servers in the first phone call.  Do not give them any money or agree to anything!

If they try to sue you, counter sue them for violating your rights under the FDCPA.

I just got a call from these scum and they threatened to sue me for 2300.00 for a 11 year old debt, then offered to settle it out of court for 785.00 so like an idiot I paid them 200.00 as I was unaware of the statute of limitations in my state which is 6 years. Since I paid them I realized this is a bunch of B.S. and canceled my bank card, and reported to my bank as fraud. They can no longer take my money. If my bank reverses the transaction and they technically get no money, can I be taken to court, and if I do get taken to court, can I sue them for illegal collection since they broke about 4 laws to get me to pay.

Everything they have done towards me has been illegal so far... yeah give me a summons and I'll counter sue :) Just call them and ask about the weather! It really pisses them off, and it's not illegal, like what they are doing.  They are a debt collection agency and they do no disclose this which is illegal, they tell you they are going to sue you, again illegal... I could go on and on but yeah complete fraud here. I'm calling a lawyer to sue them because they are in major violation against the FDCPA and FCRA. Sorry to anyone who agreed to pay them because your debt has been restarted according to the law. If they call you ask them to verify the debt (direct mail) and do not under any circumstances pay any portion of a settlement offer. It is illegal for them to tell you they are going to sue you, it is also illegal for them to not tell you they are a debt collection agency. After reading all theses comments I smell a class action lawsuit against them.

this company called my daughter, said she owed debts from 2007-wouldnt tell her from who, said they were sending a summons today, i told her to tell them to go ahead and do that, i also looked up our states debt collection laws and cant wait for them to try and serve her, which they wont,  just trying to get her to pay with out having the facts by threatening her with jail, court cost's etc. Make them send a print out or statement of who and when you owed the debt before you pay.

i wish I really looked into this before hand.. My story is the same as above me..  Got a restricted phone call saying if I was going to be able to receive a summons and the lady gave me the case number and a phone number to call. The guy who answered said it was for balleys toltal fitness which i did owe them like $3000 from 2005. and I did accure that debt  so i paid a $100 payment that day and set ui[p two other payments for the 1st of the sept & Oct. They gave me a call yesterday to make payment and the lady told me my card was declined I said it was because i had til 5pm when i spoke to the guy. she said he no longer worked there and that she would note that and take payment out later that day.This sucks cuz I did pay them $1200 total... to get rid of my debt from balleys total fitness. they had all my info so i thought it was legal.   Is there any way to get back at them meaning to get my money back if its a scam?? Did i really lose lut on $1200 or will that go towards my debt?? how do I report them or is it too late??

18888937010 is the same as 18887877602 FULL Spectrum Litigation, i missed the call on a restricted number and the message that was left was, "Hello this is a (did not understand)message by phone to reach maria chacon case number 314-99 my name is Jason Miller I'm contacting you mam in reference to a complaint that been forwarded back to my office.if you wish to discuss the pending action being filed against you, you can contact can contact the firm handling your case at 8888937010 your case number mam that you'll need to reference again is 314-99 maria it very important that they speak to you within the next 24 hrs.or they may be forced to make to make a decision without your consent. the number that you'll need to contact is 888-8937010 thank you and good luck".

This same company called my cell and my house, so I called them back and they had my  ss number and told me that they will be serving me papers in 24 to 48 hours if I didn't pay them today. They also told me that they would freeze my account, initially I began to panic then I googled the number and this site came up. I am grateful for the information that you all has given me , now I am gone kick my heels up and wait for them to knock at my door, because when they do, I got something for them that they will least expect. Thanks guys!!!

I now have a hard inquiry on my credit report which dropped my credit score... I didn't give Full Spectrum permission to run my report what can I do? Any help would be great....

They called me looking for my husband. I believed it due to our credit we are trying to fix. I had him call them because I was worried it had something to do with that. I then googled the number and called my husband back! He said that they said he opene a credit card in 2007 and used it till 2008. Had his ss # and threatened to serve us on Monday and take our cars. Which we have lean against for 200$ scum bags lets see em try I will sue them till they can't breath!

I received the same phone call.  "Mrs. Lopez" told me that i needed to call this number because a complaint had been filed against me and that if i did not respond immediately that a decision would be made on my behalf without my consent.  They called 5 times in a row and also called my daughter and my place of employment with the same message.  I called and they told me I would have to be in court on Friday. They said I owed 3678.94 to a credit card from 2004.  They said they would settle for 1400.00 if I could figure out a way to pay that.  I told them that I needed to talk to my lawyer before i did anything and they told me to have him fill out "page 4" and then quickly ended the conversation.  They said they were bases out of Southern Ca.    So glad I looked up the number as I was speaking with them.  I found several sites with hundreds of complaints against this company.  Thank-you for the information. I think I will contact the Attorney General because this is very unprofessional.  I work at a hospital and I don't think our secretary has time to take messages for me from a bogus company.

This is crazy!! They called me today and did all this insane stuff! After I made them mad, they even called my cell phone, with my home phone number showing up on the caller ID!!!!!!!!! I filed a police report with my local law enforcement. The officer said that it would be a gift to him if someon shows up tomorrow on my doorstep! Do not verify ANY information and PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!!!!! Call the police and file an harassment case!!!

I received a call from this number about 2 weeks ago but ignored it. Then, someone named Ms. Brown called my old employer stating that she needed to serve me papers and we could either do it at my employer or meet in a parking lot (what??) So I called that number back and got in touch with a Chris James. He pretty much told me that same thing. I could either pay the original amount of the debt $352 within 24 hours or be taken to court and sued for triple that amount. He even asked me if anyone trusted me with money so I could borrow it! I actually believed him after researching my state's laws stating that a credit card company CAN sue you for the amount owed. I called him back the next day and paid him $50 and told him I could pay the other $302 on 9/17/12. He said that would be ok. He was VERY nice and understanding which made me think this is legit. He emailed me a settlement agreement (which looks pretty legitimate) and I know my DEBT is legit, but after reading some of these posts, I think I will call my credit union and disable the debit card. Does anyone have any advice on what I do now that I've paid him $50? Do you think they will really serve me papers?! Because ya know, I'd be happy to meet them in a parking lot with my sister and her husband who is a sheriff's deputy :p

Hi there, I posted back in May but I just got another call from them so I thought I'd post again to keep this documented.

Different guy, same message. They don't name a company, and I've seen a few names posted in connection with this phone number. Another sign that they're not legit is multiple company names. Bryant, Lafayette & Associates did that at least three times while I was dealing with them. They get really mad when you ask for stuff in writing or send a debt verification request.

The point is that 4 months ago I got a message saying that I had 48 hours to contact them and arrange payment or "decisions would be made" on my behalf. I didn't call them back, I posted a complaint about them on the Internet. 4 months later, I still have no summons or court date or any kind of written information regarding this matter. They're full of it.

Also, I've read other people's posts that the debt seems to be US Bank. I did have issues with US Bank, and it's still not entirely resolved. However, Bryant/Blackmon, Lafayette & Associates were also collecting on this US Bank debt. It's funny because I talked to people at US Bank, like actually IN PERSON at a bank branch, and the debt is still with them, not written off to a collection agency. Someone is lying, and I can take a wild guess who.

a guy named robert dickson or dickenson called me at work and said basically the same stuff as everyone else wrote! saying they are going to serve me papers for a past debt but i can settle for a certain amount.  it's all bs and tehy try to scare you don't pay!!!
