I just got a call from a lady Carrie Brown from a restricted number. She is calling from the county (didn't say what county). She said that I need to call her back immediately at 888-788-8884, otherwise I would be served (didn't say why), either at my home or at my place of work. THEN!! She called my work from a local number belongs to the local university. I looked up both numbers and the local number goes to the horticulture part of the university! She said that she was calling for CW & Associates. And when I looked up that business, they are a CPA firm from Honolulu!

A lady by the name of Carrie Brown called today and yesterday saying I would be served if I didn't call back immediately,
were you ever served? Someone called about 2 months ago with an accent saying the same thing but I was never served.

I got a call from a restricted number the lady left 888-788-8884 as the return number saying I was going to be served unless I call them back.  I called the number the guy said he was in NY and that it was a courier service that was calling they also called my family and the only way they got that number was to google me and see that person attached to me.  they claim it is for a pay day loan and when I called the pay day loan company they stated I didn't owe them anything.  the guy was rude and told me to have a nice day and i'll be served.  

I received several calls from this number, today they called my work number and the called ID showed Navajo Cnty Gvt 1-928-289-6847. I answered the call and a lady said her name was Carrie Brown. She is called to see why i have not responded to her 2 voice mails and someone came to my house on Friday from Navajo County Courts. I said i was out of office on vacation. She then stated do you know what this is about? I said no. then told me or my lawyer to call this 800's within the hour and i will have a court date in 4 weeks.

Google the 928-289-6847 number and it came back to a Winslow, AZ number from Navajo County Courts Fax number, I called there office and they told me, no one by the name of Carrie Brown works here and to call and report this to my local law enforcement office.

I have received more than one call from Maria James with threats that if I don't contact her immediately I will be served with papers.   I believe this is just another scam.

is this scam?

antonio walker called today said served papers at my work place tomorrow or resistence, then corrected himself and no I mean some time this week, that I have to call him back to soon to explain my situation...Is this scam?

Lady named Maria James called and said she was calling from the county legal division. (Did not say what county.) Looking for my son, who hasn't lived here for many years. She said my son would be served unless he calls back right away with a "stop order" or "hold".

A lady by the name Maria James called blocked and said she was with the legal division of Montgomery county and my name an social security number were forwarded to her department with a legal matter. And if I didn't call them back I would be served Monday at my home or job.

Says it's Maria James with Cumberland County Legal Division and it's a legal matter and someone gave them my name and number as a reference.They Mispronounced my first name and referred to me by a different last name that is close to my last name. I definitely believe it's a scam, this is a very new number for me and it's used for internet purpose and school business only. All friends/family that uses me as a reference goes through my cell number only. I contacted the individual that they said used me as a reference and they said that's not true, they only know my cell number, and didn't know I had a home number.
