Same thing happened to me. We were called, told that a price increase had been effected but that we could get toner at the old price ($349) one last time. I called our copier service company, who reminded us that we have a contract for toner with them. I feel foolish, but happy enough that at least I didn't fax back a signature.

Impressive SCAM... gave me the model number of one of my in house copiers and told me our contract had changed... we had not been notified of a price increase in toner due to a 'computer error'. BRENDA said she had been authorized to sell me one more carton at our old price and any further orders would be at a higher price. She was going to fax an invoice to be signed and returned to place the order. Thank goodness I manage a printing company and know that pretty much all copier contracts include FREE toner!!!! I told her I would be out of the office most of the day... She has been calling and trying to harrass my colleagues into getting that fax signed and send back for the lst day and a half. She did leave a number at one point that goes back to Standard Office Products (NOT the company we have our contract with). It went to voicemail, of course, but I left a message stating that I don't purchase toner and not to call my company again!

I, too, fell for the scam. I am new with the company and didn't realize we had an account of our own. What can I do? We are not paying the invoice. Any suggestions?

I fell for the same scam. I filed a complaint with the BBB and I have been contacted twice, once by IDCSERVCO and once from STANDARD OFFICE PRODUCTS, both telling me that it was the other that contacted me and deceived me to the point that I believed they were our regular toner suppliers.

A woman by the name of Cindy tried to make us think that they were with Xerox who we have a maintenance and supply agreement agreement with. According to her, the price of our toner went up to February 1st, but we were never sent a notice because of clerical error and so as a courtesy, they wanted to make sure that we got the toner at the old price. SCAM!

Ditto. We received the same call from Brenda today. SCAM!

"Brenda" called me today after she faxed over an "order confirmation" which I just wrote the word "SCAM" in big letters and faxed it back to 888-789-1783.

The shipping company for this and many other sales companies is IDCSERVCO. Has anyone had dealings with DISTRIBUTION SERVICE CTR? I feel that they run the same scam as Standard Office Products....same outrageous price for Xerox ink, same shipping company.

This outfit is sneaky. We have a new office assistant who took their call. She was told that we have a contract and our order has already been shipped. They apologized for not calling sooner, but our toner was on back order. I'm glad I asked who was on the phone, or we would have been trapped again!

Has your company filed a lawsuit regarding this matter? If so, would you mind providing me your attorney's contact information? Based on the number of complaints filed against this company, I believe a class action lawsuit would be in order.

We have received multiple toners from this company and have kept contacting us to send more. They are a definite scam and I have put in a report to the Better Business Bureau to report them.

They got a little ballsy with us and actually tried to make us think that we were with Xerox who we have a maintenance and supply agreement agreement with. A woman named Diane presented herself as being from Xerox. According to her, our toner went up to $460 as of September 1, but we were never sent a notice because of clerical error and so as a courtesy, they wanted to make sure that we got the toner at the old price of $349.00. They even had a woman named Brenda call me back from the Xerox Billing Department.
When we got the fax to confirm our order, I knew immediately what was happening. So I called Xerox to verify and Xerox asked me to fax in the correspondence right away because they've been trying to go after these types of companies for a long time.
When I called back they answered right away with ?Customer Service? as opposed to Xerox's automated transferring system. I told them to cancel my order and to never call us again.

I received the similar scam from them. They knew our copier information and solicited us to purchase toners for the machine. We tried to return them and they refused to take it back. Fortunately, we returned two toners back but the last one. They already charged us through credit card. These people need to be prosecuted for fraud. We are the latest victim. Please help.

This is SO wrong! I just got the same call and they sent a fax and wanted me to "Fax back immediatly" to 1-800-789-1783. I luckily checked into this and these POS ppl will be stopped.

We had the same scenario at our office and the retailer for our machine said they are not affliated and that our toners were no cost per our contract. They advised it was a scam!!!!

We are opening a full case and since we have lawyers in LA, these people WILL BE STOPPED! Hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. 1-888-789-1783

we just received a call and invoice for toner as well from this same company. The lady who called was named Vickie and she faxed over a $500.00+ invoice. Somewhow these folks knew the exact model # of copiers we have here at the office. Then got a follow up call the next day saying "the billing company had not received a confirmation fax back" and in order to keep our old pricing i needed to get this in asap. Kind of frightening that these people knew the machine models, our billing address and contact #'s. Definitely a scam as we have a maintenance contract with another company.

Fraud - Trying to get a signature to purchase toner and have our company invoices for the cost. The company calls itself Standard Office Products 529. S 5th Ave La Puente, CA 91746. The callback number is no good and researching this address I have found that this address is a residental address in LA California. The other number listed is 888-789-1783.
