Very annoying......phone rings...nobody there.

I have Time Warner phone service.  When I got a phone call from this number, I went into my online account on the Internet with TW and used the SELECTIVE CALL FORWARDING feature.  I set this 888-790-2772 phone number to be FORWARDED to my state's Attorney General's Legal offices.  I would love to know how the people behind these fraudulent phone calls like it.  Maybe my state will finally take legal action and prosecute and imprison these fraudulent people.

OK, This must be a new one.  Haven't answered this yet, though I would agree with Jeanne, there will probably not be a voice on the other end.

I'll try the FCC complaint process, although last time I did, in order to have them take action, you must file a FORMAL complaint, which is much different than just sending the FCC a nasty-gram about the phone number.

I dialed back and the voicemail identified it as the "Autism Foundation Wings of Hope Program."

Called by 888-790-2772. Let ring. No message left.

This number is being "spoofed" by Complete Credit Solutions, a Debt Collector from Texas, attempting to gather information to create an account with someone.

Keep getting calls. Pick it up and no one there. Annoying.

Got a call this morning . I picked it up and waited a few seconds and a guy came on saying this was from the autism society . After a bunch of  blah ..blah..blah ....he asked me send out 15 envelopes to my neighbors for contributions. Yeah right. I said no and he kept trying to give me the hard sell ----- as I hung up .  I've been getting calls from all sorts of similar numbers  :

Called 5/6/11, 8:40 p.m. ID said "Toll Free Call, 888-790-2772."
Much to my better judgment, I picked up when I noticed how late it was, and what I got was voice saying my name and then caller said (something) 'Solutions',  I told them (well actually I screamed at them) "never, never call this number again."

Get that same number EVERYDAY same time, sick of it, want to strangler who ever it is.Would like to call their mother in middle of night to see if she likes it, maybe she would kick their A......I called my phone co and they said it was a scam but are they scamming us and we don't know how ? Tried the do not call line , hopefully that will help but doubt it. These people need to get a life.

Where is this number from 888-790-2772... Its a silly number calling my phone, I never send money out, and they called me and told me I am being scammed for sending money MG. And I don't even know what the MG means, I hope lots of people doesn't fall for this silly callers. They are jerk.

I got a call from this same number complaining that my husband is a scammer and that they want some money to be send to them, and also asked me never to send money to my son who school abroad. this is total mess, they do this to ruined other people relationship.

I'm on the do not call list.  I am tired of getting multiple calls from this number weekly.

Getting calls from this number one this AM another one at 4:37pm. Don't want them anymore. I answered the one this AM and no one was there. Didn't answer the afternoon one. Does anyone know how to stop unwanted calls? Federal Do No Call List is a joke.

I have the same problem as Jaycee. They always call between 9:00 & 9:30am PDT & never leave a message. They hide between consecutive numbers from 2770-2785.My call blocker only holds 30 numbers. I don't want to waste the 12 unprogrammed slots that are still left on these scammers.
Maybe they will get tired of calling?

I don't usually answer these 800, 888, 877 numbers because of scams.  If by chance I do answer and they are looking for a donation, I tell them I donate locally.  My daughter is a  Special Ed Teacher so I tell them I support local fund raisers, etc.

This number calls every day between 9 and 9:30.
We do not answer.  Have blocked it but then they use another consecutive number.
These companies or "charities" have thousands of numbers at their disposal.

What in the world happened to the call block that we had before we got so technical. Heck I saw a 9 year old kid riding he bike down the street talking on a celphone. Guess it was Earth shattering that he talk on that phone while riding his bike. I just wonder who is going to get the blame when he rides into moving traffic and get killed. That is a good one who gets sued? Phone (cl) Co. Driver of the car. the City for not having a celphone lane for bikes, Maybe we should look at the parents that Paid for it and continue to pay every month under the pretextx of keeping in touch with poor Johny or Joanie.

This number calls but I never answer toll free numbers. They are mostly scammers. I blocked this number from ringing my phone.
