Got a call yesterday and today. Today they left a voicemail and says that it was Bally's Fitness calling for (your name here)and offering a special deal for your new year's resolutions then provided a phone number to call back. I haven't had a membership with them for almost 5 years now. Wish they would just loose my number.

Got a call from this number today, they left no message. I recognize it from Bally Fitness' previous attempts at calling me.

Have gotten a call from this number 3 times so far. Haven't picked up yet, but it's always at around the same time on consecutive days. I have NEVER had a Ballys account or trial or anything.

Just got this call tonight. I didn't answer...HOWEVER, the other sites seem to state that this is a Bally's Total Fitness semi-scam thing. I assume they're firing up for the new year...

Got my first call (of many probably) from Bally. I too used to be a member of Crunch Fitness whom Bally took over. Glad I found this site, I'll ignore future calls :o

Answered a call from this number on Friday. Listened to the options. They gave a phone number to call if you want to opt out of these calls. Called that number. It was a Bally's casino/resort. Got transferred around 3 or 4 times. Final transfer was to the cage (casino cashier?). Of course, no one knew anything about the phone calls, although the cashier did say I wasn't the first call she had received. Surprise! got another call yesterday. Thank goodness for the IGNORE button on my cell.

If you know your membership number (I didn't), you might be able to get them to stop. I called Bally's at 866-40BALLY and picked "make a payment" and didn't input my membership number. Then it gives you the option to talk to a representative. She said she couldn't pull up my account number from my phone number (seems odd that they wouldn't be able to), but if I had my membership number, they could put a stop call order into it. I haven't had Bally's membership for probably close to 10 years now. I don't know who this genius is that thinks bugging me 3-4x a day with telemarketing calls is the way to get me to renew a membership that I haven't renewed in all these years.

Numerous calls to my home (now cell) number the last week. I am also a former Bally's member. They must know about the extra holiday pounds! I am sure the economy has kept the traditional New Year resolution members from joining this year and they are hoping to convince former members to come back. I occasionally get a junk MAILING but have never before gotten phone calls from them.
I plan to call back after 9 pm (so it doesn't cost me any minutes) and see if there is a "don't call list" option.

Thanks for the info. I have had 2 calls in 2 days. Never answered it. I was a Bally's member before.

Take care,

Cals 3-4x a day. Can't get a live voice to request to be taken off the list. Frustrating!!!

Haha! Yup must be Bally I cancelled my membership about a year ago.

Thanks. I used to be a member of Bally's (actually both of us were). I received two calls in a row this morning and again this afternoon. I did not answer any of the four calls.

I called the number back after letting it ring. It was Bally Total Fitness. I used to be a member a long time ago. I assume it was a telemarketer trying to get me to renew and old membership.
