Send this "investigator" a cease and desist letter.

i talked to mike dupree... he was great in helping me through a tough time with my car being up for repossesion.. i did not like the guy name bradford. he was an a..ho....but dupree was the one that really explained the process and helped m,e

i got a call from this number, and it wasnt a bill collector its an investigator... he wanted me to turn my car back to the bank..i told him to go to.........2 days later he got my car. i dont know how he found me but he did.. so if he is calling you.. he will find you..in hindsight, if i would have worked with him i could have save a lot of money and headaches.

A special investigation unit looking for someone who doesn't live at my house and has never lived there.  I returned the call to advise them, we shall see if they call again.  When he left the message he stated he was doing a criminal investigation.  If they do catch these people they look for I will be happy, I'm almost ready to change my phone number because of all the calls I get for these people.

I got this call looking for a neighbor of mine-- giving me this number and a case number to give him and saying it was urgent he call ASAP-------- when I called *69 (since I don't have call waiting and wrote down an extra #)the actual call had come from 603-411-5265???  But he gave me the 888-799-4122 to have the neighbor call---- He even gave me a name- I had trouble hearing  but think it was Det Lawson---- he knew this neighbor's sister's name and my name-- how freaky is that? Makes me very nervous but also mad that they do this and make  you think something it really wrong and this is an emergency---

These are not police. They try to sound like law enforcement especially with that "If this is an emergency, hang up anc call 911". Collections agency. Very rude people. When you politely tell them that you are not who they are looking for and do not know the person they are looking for they continue harassing you.

Investigator Bradford is nothing more than a  Minimum paid  employee who thinks he has a title of Investigator....... he continues to call me and Harass me daily, I have even received a threat through the Postal System which by the way is a felony. do not be intimidated by this company, I have already contacted the State Attorney in my county to start criminal proceedings. This Company goes by the name Silicone Valley Recovery Inc, they have no Business trying to collect on any debt unless you have contracted with them or they have a valid court order, or a valid contract between you and the originating party. again do not be intimidated.... they have several different phone numbers, and represent themselves as Investigators, they are not they are hourly paid employees. They have no legal authority to any claim they are assessing against you.

I received a call at 6:06 AM with a recorded message telling to me "hang up and call 911 or 1-888-????.  They woke me up, I don't remember the rest of the phone number.  I've been worried all morning and just waiting to call all my family members to make sure everyone is okay.  Just beside myself with worry.  Glad I found this website, maybe I can calm down and actually get some sleep!

These idiots called me and screwed up my whole day with their trickery and sneaky behavior.  Don't be fooled by the official ctap ... there should be laws against these business tactics... really...Thanks everyone for postibg these situations... it definetly helps to know there is something we can go to for help... since nothing is being done officially on the up and up ...

Got a voice mail this morning telling me it was urgent to call Investigator Bradford at 888-799-4122 and also a case #....said to call asap and reference the case number. This evening my neighbor came to my door with the same information and they had called them wanting to know if they were my neighbor. That is BS that they would call my neighbor who happens to be an attorney....she said something didn't sound right and they wouldn't provide their company name. I called the 888 number this evening and got the same initial response as others "if this is an emergency please hang up and call 911"...boy what a crock of s_ _ _! Needless to say I didn't leave my name and number and the can call forever. I have no loans that are problems and don't have the foggiest idea why they would be calling me.

They've called a couple times now. I spoke to them in a quite guarded fashion since I didn't know who they were. They do SOUND official, but I'm glad to have found this post.

mississippi, how did you come to find out they were debt collectors? I'm glad to know this for when they call back. I'll return a comment if I can get some more info...

I also got a call from them. I used to live in Fort Lauderdale. They are harrasing personally a friend which we forwarded our mail to, as we left the US ten months ago. What should my friend do in order to keep them away?. I told my friend to give them my foreign cell phone nr. so that they can talk directly to me and confirm that I am out of the country for good. Thank you.

This is not a law enforcement agency, this is a collection agency. They try to sound like an official law enforcement office by setting up their greeting with "if this is an emergency hang up and call 911" however they are nothing more than a debt collector trying to get money.
