Called at 8:37 am and left no message.

they called today asking for me.i said speaking.some girl asked for my address and said she was recording our conversations on trying to collect a debt.first I told her I don't owe no debts and I was wring the number down and to never call me again.a federal judge just made it a crime for any debt collector to call you after you tell them to stop calling.you can sue them for $500.00 to $1500.00 per violation.next I told her I can't understand a word you said.try speaking English.if you can't speak English than go back to wherever you came from and learn it.than I hung up.this is a zombie debt collector.they will try to get you to pay debts that are 10/20 years old.just blow them off they can't do a dam thing to you.

How do you block them?

Call several times a week with no message.

They call my phone at least once every single day for the past month... the number is automatically blocked by the android app phone warrior and they never leave a message. My credit is clean and perfect and never had a overdue/past due bill.

They call every so often, but never leave a message. I don't owe any money to anyone, so I know this is a scam. They call every other week or months. So what do I need to do to stop this?

Just the standard ring and not leave message type call, but it's not the first time. I get one from this number maybe once every couple of months or so.

I received a call from this number earlier in the month. They wouldn't reply to me saying, "Hello?" So I decided to inform them that I am registered on the "do not call" registry. The caller then proceeded to say, "So you know what I'm calling about then, bi***?!" And when I wouldn't respond, he hung up.
They just called again today with no response, and hung up. I returned the call, and asked to speak to management for the derogatory term I was called on the phone earlier this month from this number. The guy on the other end was an Arab with a heavy accent that I could barely understand, but he said he would remove my number from their call list, but wanted to confirm if I was "William" something, and (being female) I replied, "That's obviously not who I am." He asked if I was "Deborah" same last name. Reply was still no. He said then he could remove my number since I'm not affiliated with those people. I still asked to speak to management about the rude called I received prior. He said he would record this conversation, and let his "management specialists" listen to it and decide what further action to take. If the phone calls don't stop, I will be extremely rude when I receive the next one.

That  number called here today and instead of leaving a message they played crappy music! It went on and on until the voicemail space was all used up.       grrrrrrrrrrr

They keep calling and asking for a John somebody. There is nobody named John here. They are calling my cellphone and my husband's name is not John. I keep telling them this yetvthey keep calling several times per day asking for this person i have never heard of and they will not transfer me to a supervisor when I ask.

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co. LPA (Cleveland, Ohio) also used this number for a short while to collect old debts.  People caught on quick so they changed the number they were using to mask outbound calls from their Aspect Dialer.  I see the Phone Number Masking Service they use resold the number to another debt collector.

They are a 3rd party collection agency that obviously does last ditch efforts to collect really old debts because we have had our phone number for 2+ years and they keep asking for somebody else, my guess is someone who had our phone number before us.  What sucks is it is our cell phone and they are wasting my minutes because no matter how many times we demand the update their files and take us off the list, we still continue to get calls from them... Scumbags...

They refused to tell me how much I owe until I gave them my address. I told them that I would not tell them until I know what I owe. They called me back but then they put me on hold for 15 minutes! While in hold all I could hear is a click sound in the background. The worst part is that their English was terrible and I could  barely understand a word the people said.

Robot call, asking for someone named Amy.  The robot said if you are Amy, press One.  Since I wasn't Amy, I didn't push anything.  After a while, the robot hung up.  I am guessing that they are trying to collect form Amy, who must have had our number before we got it.  No way would we try calling them back in order to explain that we have NO idea who Amy is.  

I had a similar experience.  Very thick accent that was hard for me to understand.  I asked the woman to repeat the info slowly, and when I asked her who her company was again, she wouldn't give me any information without verifying my personal information.  I advised them to call me back with company information and hung up.

Called and refused to give me any info as to why they were calling. Just kept asking for my mailing address and social security number. When I told them I was not comfortable he suddenly lost his THICK accent and said "Well then I guess you will never know why I was calling. Goodbye" I had instant relief of not giving my info away.

So after these phony debt collectors buy a settled, bankruptcied, consolidated, or paid debt they try to get you to pay AGAIN. Once you pay on a closed account it is reopened and considered valid. Beware,  and keep good records!

they have been bugging me for four years on a debt that was paid off 6 years ago i guess i am going to have to contact the attourney genrals offibe on them

This is a collection agency named TATE & KIRLIN ASSOCIATES.  When they call and ask for you by name immediately tell them they have the wrong number and hang up.  They will stop calling you!

5-6 years ago I had an ad in Craigs list and was stupid enough to answer an reply to my ad(thinking they were ligit) c***suckers were from a prison and made some phone calls on my acct..............it comes from some Phone company that I've never had any dealing with in my life. Doesn't matter to these bottom feeders, I've told them 10 -12 times what happened and they just keep selling the debt that the prisoners made to another debt collector and the calls go on. I'll never pay these b*****ds cause they don't listen to my previous explanation to the previous collectors.................so one collector screws the other debt collector (by selling the bogus debt) The don't realize the time limitation expiered long ago. F___ them and the horse they rode in on.

Definite scam

Called my cell number asking for my husband saying it was a business call.  I told them they had the wrong number which is the truth because he does not use my phone.  After reading these I am going to block the number so they can't call back.  Sorry but my husband has taken care of his debt...I made sure of it.  Scammers.

Caller ID says Hagan and Associates.  They call 4 to 8 times a day.  I block their number, so they call 4 to 5 times in one minute, trying to get the Voice Mail.   They are some type of Debt Collection.  Have no idea who they are trying to reach,

They are junk debt collectors who call and hound people about old debt that they bought from another debt collector that may have already been paid off. But the first/original debt collector didn't tell them it was already paid off or the account was settled and the crooks just sold the debt to them anyway for pennies on the dollar so now these clowns are trying to collect on old debt that is either past the SOL statue or it is an old debt account that was legitimately settled. Hah. What a racket they got going.

Reminds me of the old expression, "No honor amongst thieves."

Usually a disbarred lawyer,or one that couldn't handle real cases.
They probably have a bunch of illegals working for them.
