Recieved at least three calls a day from this number to my cell phone. Never any message left. My number is on the do not call list with the govt. and they still call. No info sent except for the phone number. I dont have an AMEX card nor have I ever applied for one either. No one in my household has one either. this is pure harrasment and highly illegal to call a blockednumber. THEY SHOULD BE SEUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recieved a call from this number, phishing for our information about AMEX.  My husband called AMEX and they confirmed that this is not one of their numbers.  If you recieve a call from these folks, contact your police department and file and FTC complaint.

We got beeped on beeper with this no. It was African accent. Asking for AMEX a/c no. I refused to give. I asked Why are you calling? Answers that give me your am.exp account no. then only I can tell you why I am calling you and help you.

Received these phone calls and did not answer them initially.  My husband answered my phone and a message started asking me to call about an important business matter.  Did so from a phone out of town - they asked me for my AMEX number, and I stupidly gave it to them before getting suspicious about the call.  Hung up and called AMEX directly and cancelled my card and had new ones issued.  I recommend that you DO NOT ANSWER and report the number to the FTC.

It is AMEX, they ask for you by first name and a friendly voice. With the same friendly voice I told them that they had a wrong number. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR 29% apr

Didn't pick up, let it go to voicemail. They didn't leave a message, so called back. It was American Express. Don't have an AMEX card, so asked for my number to be taken off their list.
