Same boat here!!! Wtf is this and why me??...

This number has called my work number for the last 2 - 3 weeks - almost every day. I have not answered it as it comes up as unknown - but the recording persists? The recording is very abrupt and would scare a lot of people - especially reiterating that it is a time sensitive issue to call them back.

Cashnet USA is a legal loan sharking predatory lender.  They are a large company, have lawyers and lobby to keep legislation from harming the industry.  Interest and fees for these small dollar loans are so high that many borrowers default.  I will starve until my next payday before I borrow at 600% apr from these criminals.

These CashNet USA people call my cell phone every day. They're rude and nasty and threatening. I have never taken a loan with them and had no idea who they were until I Googled the phone number they keep telling me to call and found this place. I pulled up my credit report (I have identity fraud protection) just to make sure there wasn't something fishy going on, and there's no outstanding loan to anyone except my bank for my home mortgage. I guess I'm going to have to change my cell phone number. I really don't want to have to involve my attorney, but this is harassment so if I must, I will.

I have a loan with CashNetUSA and I am a silver member with this company and was just approved for 150. I have all my loans paid off, I got a call from this person as well if it was CashnetUSA I am not sure why they are calling for? I have paid off all my loans with them..

The caller ID says it came from 866-653-2116, but it is the same recording of a "Mr. Robert" from CNU.  I've been getting the call every few days. Last message said it was time critical and imperative I called by 11:00 PM.

Yeah, right, if it was time critical, then they would have left more information beyond the name of the caller and that I had to call them back.    Based on what I have read here, if I make the mistake to ever call them back, it will never stop.

This number calls constantly on my cell phone......I now have it blocked.

Who the hell are you people and why do you keep harassing me?  This is a school district phone.

You don't have to lie, you can tell them it was authorized under different terms...once they changed the terms, they broke the contract! I recorded the phone call where I was given an extension over Christmas, they told me they would wait until after Christmas and then they double billed the day after Christmas...NOT FUNNY! I emailed them and asked for a payment envelope to send a money order that my bank and I have stopped the authorization for this and future payments! Be honest, the authorization is on file...my bank returned the charges to them.

I received at least two calls a day at my place of employment. I am not sure what this is about but it borders harrassment. What can I do?

Please stop calling our reception desk-we do not know who you need to speak to because we only hear a recording!

Harrasment brought to a new level! They call my mom, they call my sister, they are supposedly calling my job although the message has never gotten to me at work. They even went so far as to leave a message for me on my sister's phone with all of my information on it. No disclaimer or hang up if this isn't you BS. They are sharks. And what is worse is I owed them such a small amount that they literally racked up more fees putting it through my bank multiple times in one day than I even owed them in the first place. They tell me I am going to prison....Funny, I was fairly certain we did away with debtors prison when we won the Revolutionary War...

I will gladly settle with this company when they deduct the fees they caused witht he multiple posting of debits on a single date. Until then, we are in a stalemate

I get a daily call from Sherman at CNU stating they need to talk to me......it's urgent call by 11 p.m. tonight.  So, they are still at it....

I have not called them back.  But I do want to get my phone number off their list, just don't know how without calling the number.....

Find out if your state allows online payday loans and if they don't send them a cease and desist letter by email and registered mail. Once you have done this. They can not call you any more if they do then sue them for harrassment.

My husband and I got a payday loan that isn't due until this Friday. Last weekend these con artists started calling my phone. The last time we applied and did NOT get a loan they called and threatened a lawsuitbif we did not pay up. We told them go right ahead. We would love to meet them at the court house. Seeing as the bank account they claimed the money went into was closed six months earlier. Also fyi a collector can not call more than once a month.... that is called harrassment. You are under NO legal obligation to give ANY information to ANY collections. NOT even to verify who you are. I reminded them of this and told them if they knew so much then they would know what lawyer I was going to use to sue them with. They stopped calling....... once you tell them that you are recording and useing the recordings in a lawsuit. They stop.

How are they a scam, if they let someone borrow money, then try to collect on it? There are legal ways for them to collect and illegal ways. Apparently this is a company that harrasses people. If you took out a loan, YOU DO OWE IT if you did not pay it back! They have no right to harass you (whether or not you took out a loan) but there is a difference between a scam and harassment. Contact a lawyer if you're being harassed.

Yes, it is harassment.  Do you think because someone, allegedly,  has not paid a bill that harassment is okay?  And why are you posting on this site?  You must be a deadbeat wondering why the call from 888-801-9078.

Way to go! File for bankruptcy. Or you could just send a cease and desist letter. BTW It's not harassment when YOU OWE MONEY to someone. Deadbeat.

Received a call at my employer and talked to someone other than me stating they are a locator company and that I had contracted them to do a search for me and they wanted to know if our company permitted visitors as it was a long drive up here.  When my employer asked for a Manager they said they didn't have one and when they asked for a number the guy hung up on them.  I would assume they are bottom feeder debt collectors.  If I collected like this at work I would be fired.  Probably already am becuase they call me at work constantly and talk to everyone but me.

They already take payments automatically the 1st of the month. Yet they call constantly from the 2nd to the end of the month leaving harassing messages that I need to call them by12 noon and it is urgent.  I never call them back and the payment continue to be automatically deducted the 1st of every month as I had agreed to.

I don't answe when they call, just hit REJECT

We are a government agency and the the person they are looking for no longer works here and this company has been told this repeatidly and they continue to call daily and leave nasty messages.  We do not have time for this and have asked them to stop calling, but they continue as if they will get a different answer.

I received a call from this number with a male yelling at me that I better call them today.  Well I have never took out any online loans or any other with them.  I called back and a female representative apologized after I gave her my phone number and said that it was not in the system and someone must have misdialed.  I asked that she inform someone of the way this guy was yelling into my phone.

Just call them at 888.801.9075 and ask to be removed from their calling list. They were very nice about it.
