I called PSCUFS. It is a legitimate company. PSCUFS said this is a fraud & a phishing message & to report it to AG in your state. I filed a complained with the FCC as my cell phone number is on teh national & state DO NOT CALL lists.

What is the deal!  I received same message as many above.  Again, I have never dealt with this business.  Called my companies using the numbers on the back of my cards to be sure that it wasn't a parent company of my establishments.  This has to be a total scam!!!

I got the same number to call - 1-616-499-7206.
Spent annoying amount of time trying to report it to AT&T (Customer Service closed on weekend!) I suspect bogus and won't be calling

Text on my Call Phone Stating: PSCU urgent notification: unusual Activity, please verify your account. Call us at 1-888-804-6513. Text was from serv@pscufs.com.

Got a text message that there was unusual account activity and I should call 1-888-804-6413.  I called that number and got a woman's mailbox.  I hung up.  When I got home, started investigating on the internet and came up with this website.  Sounded like a scam and sure enough, it is.

I recieved a text messagestating: "PSCU urget notification: unusual activity, please verify youraccount.  Call us at 18888046513."  I blocked my number and called it.  It said that the mailbox was full.  I also went online and checked the email address and the number they had on the site was completely different than the number I was told to call.

Text message said:  PSCU urgent notificaton verify account unusual acvitity  1 888 804 6513  Steve@csystemsllc.net

Watch Out For Scammers Pretending To Be Your Credit Card Company's Fraud Department

When a strange person calls you on the telephone claiming to represent a company you do business with and asks you to give them sensitive personal information, tell them that you'll call them back on the regular customer service number that you usually use to contact them.

Same as everyone elses' "PSCU urgent notification: unusual activity...etc.  It is very close to PFCU, which is a credit union with its own credit card.  So this is phishing and no one should respond to this!!!  And any company you have an account whith HAS your data so they don't need it from you because they were the ones who assigned the account numbers to you.  SO DON'T FALL FOR THIS ILLEGAL ACTIVITY.

I received 3 text messages within 40 mins. The first one used 800-482-4190 as a call back number.  I called my husband to tell him not to respond if he received a text.  He did not.

Sounds like a scam, especially since the real PSCU (Public Service Credit Union) is located in Denver, CO and I have never been even near there.

Got a text on my phone saying "unusual account activity...urgent....please call 888-804-6513". Called and they wanted my credit card #. When I entered a fake when it took me back to the beginning of the stupid message about how they needed 3 pieces of crucial info from me. I haven't ever even heard of PSCU. I called my bank and put them on alert. I am also going to get into contact w/ a credit agency.

Do not know what this is and upon searching found this website.

The SMS I received actually came from a number containing all zeros, but gave this as teh number to call.  Text similar to that reported by Tonya, but from a different email address:

I immediately suspected some form of scam, & a web search on "PSCU" turned up this website.
