I live in Denver and received this message at 4:44pm today March 9, 2010;
"FOOTHILLS CU Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVIATED. Please contact us at 888-805-2661 to REACTIVATE your CARD."
Don't know what it's for, haven't heard of it, clearly don't have a "card" with them, so here I am Googling the number. Good to know I'm not alone in not falling for it.

Message said "Brewery Cu Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 888-805-1661 to REACTIVATE your CARD."
I suppose they are trying to coax a reply. Any reply would probably result in some high texting charge. It said it was sent from "Website@messaging.n".

I got this same message 10 min ago. I called the main NIH # on a Lan Line and they confirmed it to be a scam

Received a bogus text message from this number. Said I needed to call the number to REACTIVATE my card.
