this has happened to me once before and i fell for it . i was unemployed and they wouldnt work with me. so i ended up paying $150 a month for a few months and didnt really think nothing of it until one day my acct didnt have the money (the set up an autopay) so i called the number to pay and the number was disconnected! then i became suspicious but i never heard anything back from the locator or the company. i tried calling back again a few weeks later and number was still disconnected. so when i got the phone calls again i became suspicious. its the same company Atlas that i dealt with before. this started may 1 and they keep callin giving me warnings and i ignore the calls and all but havent served me any papers. so has anyone gotten legit papers served?

This is a SCAM agency.  Don't give them ANY information.  Please see my comment below.  I called the BB who contacted the real company.  My guess is that there is no Jordan there either!

DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME!  I contacted the BBB about Atlas Collections and they contacted the REAL company.  Their CEO responded and said they do not own any accounts with my name, do not use that phone number, and DO NOT employ anyone named "Frank" (the guy who contacted me).  I would urge anyone who is contacted to GOOGLE the company and CALL THEM DIRECTLY.  DO NOT let these scam artists dupe you into paying a debt you don't owe.

I have gotten the same thing,  and same person.  Has anything happened,  have you gotten any mail from these people.

Rec'd call from (407)442-1320 an unknown number looking for someone. He became irate when I would not divulge any information. As soon as I told him that he was being recorded, he wanted to know why & then he disconnected the call. These people will try anything to scam people out of money.

Just received a call from 2242671512 asking me to call 888-808-6215.  They state there is a claim against me.  I monitor my credit report daily and have been paying everything off.  Plus if they want my address so bad, you can google it.  I have a linkedin and a facebook.  I just blocked them.

Someone named Jordan  Davis says he is from ATLAS and there is a claim against me and I need to call 888 808 6215 so that they can explain more to me about the claim, he kept asking for my address so he could deliver the claim to me. I hung up and he called 2 more times I told him not to call me anymore if they have a claim mail it to me. WHY WOULD ANYONE GIVE THEIR ADDRESS TO A STRANGER CLAIMING TO DELIVER A BILL!!

who are these idiots. They called from a 401-655-1553 his name is Greg Sharp then he said call 1-888-808-6215. Will turn them into the FTC.  

Douche back called me as well, practically yelling in his voice mail. I'm so sick of these scams. If there really IS a claim against you, you will most certainly be served or mailed. Never trust these tools over the phone. Ignore them or report them.

received call at my place of employment two days in a row claiming to be verify information for a claim against me, my office manager request them to fax us and the lady claiming to be Erica from Atlas kept requesting address.  The phone no# they left for return call is 888-808-6215 which is to the place the person below listed some gift place to give goats as gifts.

I have been getting calls from different numbers with the same story for over a year.  The most recent number 888-808-6215, had lady with the name Karen Sanders called my job two days in a row, she spoke with my manager the first day, and then called back the sencond day and asked for me.  I spoke with her and she stated she's trying to verify my address for a claim.  I told her not to call me at my job and do not call my job again.

I need to know how to stop this madness, because it does not make any since.

Calling me to tell me that there is a claim against me. To call (888) 808-6215. They have also called me at work. This is annoying!

Nothing worst than some creper that can barely speak English calling you to try to scare you and rip you off!! Dont fall for it!!

Got a call from 518-212-3210 saying I needed to call that number. There was a claim against me and that firm would be representing me . Brendon Murphy was surprised that I did not know that there was a claim against me and that I should call that number.  

Got another "you have been notified" call from some douche claiming I need to call back with a claim number and told me to call 888-808-6215. Original call showed up as 300.  This like the movie "300" cause i'm about to go Spartan on their A@#!!!   When i looked up the call back number.. this is what i found it out to be...  http://www.tupalo.co/naperville-illinois/giftback

Like, are you serious???  LOL  I have no idea who this is.. just know they are scamming cause i've received other calls with claim numbers and threatening "final notices"... Fell for it once, never again!!
