Calls at least once every day. When I answered yesterday, the caller identified the company as "Infocision" calling "on behalf of Rogers" to "review current Rogers promotions." She then said, "Oh... it appears our system is down and we can't review any promotions at the present time. We'll call you another time. Sorry." She then hung up.

What's odd is that they did have my first and last name (which are not the same as what is listed publicly with my number) and seemed to know I was a current Rogers customer. I didn't give them any information.

Another call today, which I didn't answer. I am a Rogers customer, but have my marketing permissions set to Opt Out, so I shouldn't be getting any sales calls from Rogers.

I called Rogers directly today, and the Rogers rep insists that this number is neither affiliated with Rogers nor a known contact used by Rogers. She suggested I not answer the phone when this number comes up (Gee.... that's really helpful, Rogers. Thanks.) or report this number for harassment (because that usually gets results... not.)

So either this is a total scam or Rogers is lying to me. Neither would surprise me at this point.

DON'T SAY ANYTHING WHEN YOU PICK UP THE PHONE.  Activate it if it's a cell - don't say anything - they'll hang up fairly quickly because it's costing them money.  I called Rogers when I first got cable - and it took less than a day for them to stop calling me, after I threatened them.   If you get any new Rogers service - they automatically forward your phone and who knows what other information to telemarketers.

I am a Rogers customer - I specifically requested that my phone numnber not be given to telemarketers, promotional companies, newletters, etc.  This is an invasion of my right to privacy.

I believe this number may be voice activated.  For instance, pick up the telephone but don't say anything.  They will hang up after approximately 10-15 seconds.  After all, it's costing Rogers money - and that's the name of the game her.

It's a company paid by ripoff Rogers.   I called them 6 months ago to complain about the number of times these idiots had called me, and the late evening calls, after 8:00pm.   I threatened them with harassment, as we all have call logs.  I further told them a formal complaint would be made to the CRTC bcos they didn't give me all the channels I was paying for.   PRESTO. -   no more calls were made to my phone.

This phone number  888-808-9953 is from Rogers . It is from a company that has been contracted by Rogers in Ohio. They deal with all of there Promotional Packages. I investigated this and also had a very polite and long conversation with them, as I am also a Rogers user.

This is actrually a "sppof" number - made to look like it is coming from a specific company.

I have received calls from this exact number but saying it is from Rogers Communication, TD CAnada Trust as well as the heating company mentioned above.

Do not trust the number - it is not who your call display says it is.

These morons are still calling...I even called them directly and spoke to a lady named "Carol" and she keeps saying they never called. I quoted her the 1-888 number and she hung up on me.

I picked up, and they said they're calling from rogers and that they want to inform me of current promotions but first they need to confirm my info.  I told them that I would call them back when I have time, and I asked for a call back number.  The number they gave me is not a rogers number.

yeah - these morons have been calling every day this week. The stupid thing is - the number appears on my call display as "Anonymous".

The company is called Robert Brother Heating and Air Conditioning and they operate out of Saint Paris Ohio.

I just received a called from this number. They said they are calling from Rogers and asked me to confirm my inquiry about the promotion price. I asked them what the promotion is for. They said for internet. They asked me :'do you have internet with Rogers?" I found their question is weird as if they are really from Rogers, they must have known if I have internet with them or not. .....I guess their real purpose is to get my personal information. Then I hang up.....
