Got a call and they asked for me by name.Something about car insurance but I don't own a vehicle I asked them to put me on the not put me on their do not call list but they disconnected right after I said that.

People call me twice a day at least!!! Needs to stop! When I try calling the number back it says its not in service, freaking jerks. Anyone have a number I can call and harass them when they are working or trying to care for their family?? Just stop calling me!!

Submit a complaint to donotcall.gov.  If they get enough complaints maybe they'll do something.

I'm on the DNC list. Had a missed call on my cell phone from this number this morning at 8:46 a.m. I called back and couldn't really understand much of what the guy was saying. I asked him who they were and never got an answer. He was asking for someone named Paul W-----  I told him there is no Paul at this number, so the guy said he would mark it as a wrong number.

Actually, the federal government does provide regulation of unwanted telemarketing calls.
First off, there is the National Do-Not-Call Registry managed jointly by the FTC & FCC: https://www.donotcall.gov/
Second, check with your state government, as several states also have a similar system in place.
Lastly, telemarketing calls to cell phones are expressly prohibited and you may file a complint with the FCC directly.  (Having trouble finding the link to the form at FCC.gov, but have used it before.)

I was called by this number twice in less than 5 minutes "inquiring" about a vehicle i no longer have in my possession. They're claiming to be selling insurance. i told them not to call me again and, hopefully they won't. In case they don't, I'm having their number blocked on my phone. By the way, they wouldn't identify themselves by their company name.

some place spammed my info and then filled out a car insurance quote request during a time period when I did not own a car. I got calls about my request from 20 different companies and this was one of them. I think this number is from the actual company website where the request was filled out. They also had a habit of calling over and over and over just to hang up on you. Unfortunately, he said the name kind of quick and I didn't catch it. I think it starts with a c though, not that it helps much.

That video was pretty funny.  I almost, for a minute, felt bad for them, but then I just went back to laughing again!

called and said that they were from biz.quote for car insurance.  How did they know that I had a bmw and my home address?  I verified information.  I am so scared of what could happen. When I tried to call back they keep hanging up on me.

i called them back like 30 times telling them i was calling in regards to their insurance request, they started to get really angry so i told them that i put them on our do not call list and told them to do the same for me so there was no confusion in the future. if they call back im going to set up a linux auto dialer to call them every 30 seconds with a pre recorded message of rick astley playing never gonna give you up.

Received a call on cell.  Did not answer. Called from a landline and they said they could not see who I was because I was calling from a different number.  Something about lowering car insurance.
Rep told me to call back from my cell.  Like I am going to do that.

Not interested nor do I have the time to deal with these types of phone calls. Time truly is my money as is my phone line. It needs to be clear at all times.

Please block these stupid people from calling my number as they call even though I am on the DO NOT CALL list.Some one needs to put them in their place and it is the nut house.

They called my cell phone while I was at work.  I tried to call them back from my number & they would pick up and then hang up.  So I called them from my office phone and a man answered and immediately stated that the number I called from was not in their system which indicates that the call to me was an accidental call to the wrong number.  Then he hung up without allowing me to say even ONE word.

Insurance/warrenty scam asking about a truck we do not even own anymore, hung up on me ***can you say YOUR BLOCKED!

Answer the phone,
"law enforcement center."
They hang right up.
And don't call again.

These people call all the time and I wish they would stop.

I actually really like this idea!  I need to do this to all the random #'s I get on my phone.  I've had the same # for about 10 years so maybe that has something to do with it too.
