Mis cals me for disturbing purpose

Same thing, and my number is on the National Do Not Call Registry. I am sick and had taken medicine and was trying to sleep.

Said Toll Free Call on the caller ID and it was the old 4567. No answer- just a hang up. Strange almost every day at the same time. Hey, I was watching Jeopardy!!

I live in Laurel, Maryland. I got 2 calls from this number. I was able to answer the second one. I heard a number of clicks, then the caller hung up. Who, and / or what is behind this?

I got a call from this number saying that the Federal goverment wants to send me a free medical card. When I told that I did not need a med. card, the immediate reply was "GO TO HELL". It is high time we do something to stop these scams. Any ideas?

SSDD.  They have been calling me for months and I never answer.  Scumbags.  Do Not Call registry?  Better to undertake an ernest effort to tinkle up a rope.  The Do Not Call Registry is U.S. government operated so, like most of their efforts, it is worthless.

I got the same call on my cell. I don't give my number out. Only my family has the number. I tried to do a reverse number look-up and nothing comes up. I'm tired of it!!!

I just got the same call (860 area code) saying he had a new medicare cardfor me, but when challenged he accused me of using bad words!  He, "Brandon Taylor" with also an Indian or Pakistani accent kept trying but I hung up.  Who can we report this type of call to?

I get calls from this number (as well as many others lately). I have never ordered pharmecuticals from out of the country, and I never order anything via phone. I am a 732 area code. Any complaint venues?

I don't understand why they call and then hang up when I pick up.  What do they get out of that?  I also don't know how they got my number because I've never ordered medicines online... the number is my campus phone, so I don't ever give it out.  They're annoying and call almost every day.

They called my cell phone (area code 650), I answered it and they hung up.  I ordered some online meds from an Indian pharmacy 4 years ago and they're probably trying to get another order from me.

I get them all the time as well.  I just let it ring. I think it's b/c I order some meds via the internet and now the company has sold my # to the a**holes.  This is what I believe has happened to the rst of you too.  Next time I order off the net, I must be sure to read the FINE PRINT as to what they can do with my info once my account goes inactive.

this is the same thing that happened to me. I ordered some prednisone off their website to save $$ with my credit card. like 3 weeks later american express said they got authorizations for about $4,000 from this shell company and called me to verify I was really paying this. I was like hell no so they shut off my old card and sent me a new one. most def a scam ! be ware

Oh my God!!! I can not believe it! I'm not the only one suffering from their phone calls. It started couple of years ago when I ordered Norvasc through them. They keep calling. I asked to take my number off the calling list. No use. They keep calling. Yes, this guy has some kind of indian or whatever accent. Last time I answered and asked not to call AGAIN , he just said: " Do you wanna get F...d?!!!!! Can you believe that? I'm in total shock.What can we do? I got registered on do-not-call list. Waiting for my 31 days and going to file a complaint.

I stayed on the line until a man with a Middle Eastern accent came on the line & advised that he was calling from the FBI in regards to a complaint from the National Medical Officer in regards to me (but when I asked him exactly why he was calling me, he then said F*ck You over & over until I finally hung up on him.  This is definitely a scam of some sort.  Do not give them any personal information.

Actually called my Mother first asking for her banking info, Bank name, Routing and Account numbers. They said it was for her "New Medicare 3 Card". She gave no info to them, gave them my cell No., and they called me. The caller, obviously Indian or Pakistani, "Chris Johnson" told me the same things. Obviously some sort of fraud scam. I THOUGHT THAT WAS WEIRD. .TO ANS THE PHONE AND THEY HUNG UP. . AT FIRST I THOUGHT I HAD JUST MISSED THE CALL BUT THE SECOND TIME IT WAS JUST TOO OBVIOUS THAT THEY JUST HUNG UP ON ME. . AND I TOO AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. . WHAT THE ?. . . ?

Probably an online rx company. I kicked my diet pill addiction a year & a half ago and they STILL keep calling me to "refill my prescription." I hope they burn in hell. They're no better than crack dealers in back alleys.

They called me twice. Left no message.

On my caller ID, name not provided of course. We are on the do not call list.  Do you really think these people care about a "do not call list".

2 calls on my cell phone from this obviously fake number (234567??).  Didn't answer either of them.  Number blocked now.

I got the same call, missed it, called back to no avail. I am in 202 also, although my cell is a 513 area code...

I'm in area code 202. Call came in, I answered. They hung up.

Same thing for me, except they keep calling my son's cell phone number...he knows not to answer the phone to anyone who is not on his call list...is there anyway to contact someone about this number?

I received a phone call from someone representing The National Medical Office.  He had an East Indian accent and told that I would be receiving a new Medicare card.  He had all my info with my info and house information. I got pissed and jumped on Ebaumsworld/soundbords. He was now talking with Detectice John Kimbal. He said that if I was not who i said I was and that I had gotten information from his company that I would be in big trubble. He threatened that the call was recorded and a formal inquery would be conducted. He hung up. And called back in a few minutes asking for someone else. I guess he went down the list on the names but not on the phone numbers.

I, too, rec'd a call 7/5 with the same info you reported.  I then called Medicare and reported it but was told to call the Hotline.  800-447-8477.
Will report it on Monday.  I think everyone who gets a call like this should report it there.   Minnetonka Minnesota

I got the same call as "almost Phished"  at about 6pm today. The same clown tried to pull the same thing on me I told him I didn't give out personel info over the phone and hung up. The a**hole called right back and was pissed that I hung up on him> I told him to go F himself and that I would crawl down the phone line and cut his liver out and eat it if he called again and hung up AGAIN...
