This is funny i just got called from this number on my Comcast work phone.I do have Comcast for service and my voicemail states"you have reached ***** at Comcast please leave a message"Well they call me back again and again and again and so on.But they leave no message.Very frustrating.

This is Comcast they called and left a message confirming a service call that I had scheduled earlier in the week. This is a legitimate number for that service Im not sure if Comcast tries to debt collect though it though.

This company doesn't have the number they are calling on file or an account when they call my number and I don't even have an account with them but they have my number. Oh yeah, I live on the other side of the country from what they told me where they are from. They need to get their stuff straight!! AND QUIT CALLING ME!!!!

I received a call that was a recording saying that I may experience trouble with my service and for me to call this number. I looked up comcast's regular number and asked them to check my service. They said there was nothing noted on my account but that there may be work being done in the area that could disrupt my service and that they send out a curtosy call in case of disruption.

I am a previous Comcast customer and am in a fight with them for them not refunding me my $100 for returned equipment. Been fighting with them for months now.
This is the first time I have gotten a call from them but not really surprizing as I finally got the local consumer affairs team involved this past weekend.
Anyway, they called and didn't leave a message.

This is an automated number that calls when there may or may not be an service disruption in your area. It's just a generic call required to meet regulatory compliance regarding timely service and any breaks in service. If they didn't do it, they would be required to "credit" your account for the timeframe the service was known to be down. Usually occurs when Comcast is doing an upgrade or maint. work to their infrastructure.

A guy from Comcast called me from this number. I have no service with Comcast, he was just calling because they need to fix a line on my property, the side of my house. (my house on a street corner). Just called for my permission and to let me know what they're going to do.
He got my number because I called him on his cell the night before because he left a note at my door.

Caller ID just says "toll free". Well, duh! Message on answering machine said that they were having difficulty communicating w/ my digital cable equipment and to call the same number to schedule a complementary service call. Cable was working when I got home, so I didn't call back.

Second call from this number in 4 days. The first was on Aug. 8, the second I got today. Didn't recognize number, didn't answer. Googled the number. Appears like it's Comcast, but I'm not a customer with them anymore.
