An Update to 8888308620 Currently this number is to a Free Trial of Premium Garcinia Cambogia Slim. This is was in an email to a product till yesterday was undelivered. I checked my email and came across an email from this company that I had placed an order back on March 18th 2014. a few days later I received an email stating my order was incomplete. Now I live in a very nice neighborhood that is blocks away from a high school and trust me living close to a park is not a good thing. We have been having issues with local kids doing drug deals and drugs in said park. And I myself have had a lot of pranks played on my US Mailbox to the point I stopped replacing the dam box and opened a P.O.Box. To later find a family up the block had an issue with a gay person living in there neighborhood and I guess it was a way of saying GET OUT. Needless to say they moved after the last Mailbox M80 that blew it up like it was paper. I did report it.. But I feel the police could have cared less that someone was driving over my lawn to tore it up. No I don't walk around in a dress or make it a public that i'm gay. But never the less this neighborhood has become a target of stupid s***. Anyway, here is a copy of the email from the Garcinia Cambogia Slim trial.

*sigh* The postal delivery is somewhat at fault here also. You probably would also need to contact who delivered it also. They bear responsible for leaving it where ever to get destroyed.

This number came in a package of Garcinia Cambogia Slim. I ordered it like three four weeks ago. And today after I and my neighbor were cleaning up after a last minute snow storm. She found my package in her island. it was ripped open all the pills were gone or melted and the package looked like it was run over and then tossed in her island after the plows went by. But this number was in the package for customer support for the product. I'm guessing the product is from a fly by night company as I did a search for the company with this number and it comes back to all the Who Called, 800notes and so on. Well I'm only out $4.95 and my credit card number is in their hands.. Just great! I'm going to check to see what card and if the phone number matches if one is available.

I got a call on cell from 887-572-0566 and her name was Melissa from the came company, the 1st of every month she would call to let me know they would be taking 50 dollars out of my acct.. I got a payday loan and closed out my acct at the bank...2 years later I get a call from Melissa , said I could go to jail on this 500 dollar check I wrote out, and with interest it came to $750.00 I had to pay out in 15 payments.. and I did and my last payment was the 4th of last month, and I got a letter stating this, BUT they still took out this month .. I tried Melissa number and guess what ..NO LONGER IN SERVICE. So I called the number on the letter, and they said they would get back with you in 24 hours ... well this been two weeks and still no reply from them... So I guess I will get a Lawyer .....and the number on the letter 888-830-8620 and man answered and I ask him if this was Thomas, Brown & Associates and he just laugh and said NO...

I agree. I had to get a lawyer because of them threatening to throw me in jail for something we paid.... Now its up to the federal judge( But they have yet to call me again) lol

I have been receiving these harrasing phone calls also, and I am doing nothing about it. Because they can't show me proof that I owe it. They will not send me any information in the mail. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO OVER THE PHONE!! Do NOT agree to NOTHING over The phone tell them to send it in the mail so you can read it over!! Please before you give in to these people please read your rights go to; www.creditinfocenter.com Find out if these people have a licence to collect debt in your state. Find out your Statues of Limitations for your State. Don't let these scammers get your hard working money. They are not even lawyers!! Fight for your right!!

They can threaten to be at your door with court papers but they can't do anything unless they can provide proof.

It is a scam perpetrated by a fraudulent law firm/debt collector (they have claimed to be both) in FL. They call from a number that answers as Thomas Brown and Associates, but direct you to call a host of other numbers.  I understand from reading about them, that they are not certified to collect debts in any state - I doubt they are a law firm either. Several different people have answered or left messages using the same two (fake) names. They never actually say you owe them money, but threaten legal action to the "full extent of the law", or reference papers you need to sign.  A search of the other numbers they have called me from shows that other people have been conned into sending them money they did not owe - thinking wrongly that they were paying off a payday loan.  I contacted the FTC about them a month ago, and now they are calling from new numbers.  Report them all they numbers they call from and the ones they refer you to - keep your case number and keep reporting them.  

First, register on the National "Do not call" database: https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx
After 30 days, contact the registry again and file a complaint.

Also, file a complaint with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/.  Give them dates and times and transcribe the messages.  They may ask that you contact the people to tell them to stop harassing you, but in my experience they will just hang-up on you when they realize you aren't going to eagerly send them money.  They also wanted another number that they could contact me at - as if.

I don't have a payday loan.  I don't owe anyone money.  They are a scam, and when I called to ask them to stop calling me, they hung up on me.  They aren't registered debt collectors either.

My friend got a call from them saying my SSN and name was involved in a case with the state and I needed to call back.  I did and spoke to a Ms. Steinberg who told me it was because of a quick cash loan i had taken out years ago that the day manger gave me an extension on but the night manager vetoed.  After a good 20 minutes of explaining my situation to her that I was not home, I was on vacation with my parents, and having a perfectly civil and even pleasant conversation I accidently disconnected the call.  Upon IMMEDIATELY calling back I spoke with a Don Bender who after trying to transfer me back to her informed me she made a notation on my case that I was "showing to be unwilling to cooperate" and that she wasn't "going to deal with me anymore and take the case immediately to the advocate".  Once again I was explaining the situation to Don and I hear a click, freak out because I think I've disconnected, and find out his supervisor was now on the line because he was having a hard time convincing his supervisor I wasn't just making s*** up so I wouldn't have to pay.  After a while I was informed I could either pay a one time $255 fee by the 29th (6 days away) or pay $217 on the 29th and another $217 on the following month.  In the end I paid but I still don't feel confident that it's completely legit and not just a group of people who got their hands on my information.

i have the same case with all of you. a person name David Stern and David West has been threatning me.unfortunately i fell for it and paid $250.00. i am not working and don't have any money and to my curiosity i called Florida chamber of Commerce and they told me that they don't have a record of them. these people are scam so beware.

These people are a scam trying to get money from hard working people. Don't believe anything they tell you. They told me I was 500.00 in dept and I wanted to pay my debt off. They ending up taking 600 dollars out of my account and I couldnt do anything about it cause I autorized the transaction. Be careful and hire a lawyer if you can

They collect on payday loans. Not a scam, they had my original loan information. I called Quick Cash and they confirmed that this company now was holding my debt. I still didn't pay them. I guess were the scam artists now lol

dang i just found this site and realized i was scammed my self. they called me a few months ago about a pay day loan and then said i can send at least 50 of the 400 dollars i owe and they would send me a letter for confirmation..never got a letter or a phone call again........

I pay them $450 just to  live me alon .. so thay want $450 more ... calling me like crazy ... calling my friends and famly ... I dnt know what to do ... I just want cry ...

they are fake do not fall for this...they told me i borrowed a payday loan from a company that does not even handle payday loans...i did my research after i was scammed ,so make sure to ask them everything...check number, dates etc. they are crap.....just warning anyone who gets this phony call...dont let them scare u ...they CANT do anything....and also report them....

I was summoned to appear in court for a stupid loan i took out 3 yeard ago, can they legally go after me? even if i have no money ? how can this be a scam and still send a process server from essex county to my house? please help me .

I, too, received numerous phone calls from the same number of 888-830-8620, extension 407.  They don't even have my correct name and I am told that I owe money and it is mandatory that I provide them with very personal information.  I will be reporting this to the Attorney General's office as this is just a scam.   They continue to call me, harass me, and ask for personal information.  My advice to all of you who are questioning whether or not this is legitimate, is DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION WHATSOEVER AND JUST HANG UP OR LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE PICK UP.  This is merely one huge scam !!!!!

I have also received this phone call... and happen to borrow from a pay day loan few years ago.. who i did pay back....thru my bank which caused a negative balance so i know the payday loan company got their money from me... anyways, i received the phone call from a mike brown and also an amanda swartz..said i had a lawsuit against me, blah,blah,blah...it scared me enough to where i did pay this scam company because i freaked out and authorized a payment over the phone using my debit card... i realized they were a scam a couple months later and filed a dispute,however my bank said i will not get my money back because i authorized the payment ....i fully regret my awareness of the situation and am not sure how to take further action as to how to get my money back or at least get that scam company of off the face of this earth!!!!so if anyone has some advice...please help??

i got a message to call this # back and did he told me to send them a letter by certified mail with my case # and ss# and other personal info because i wouldnt give it over the phone just so i could get a debt verification letter,he wouldnt even give me their license # so i could check with the attorney generals office or bbb to make sure they was legit. all he said was they was sending a courier to my home or work with legal papers...he said hei had a criminal record which i do not andtold me about my bankrupcy from 2005 which is public info ...anyone can access that...he also said that before they could or would respond to my mailing to them charges would already be filed.....can they do that?????

I received a call a from these people at work. They say that are a law firm calling about a fraud, a pay day loan from 6 years ago. The law firm they say is Thomas Brown and associates. Now when I looked them up this was a real estate business I am in question????

They are calling my relatives and claiming I have a bad check - I haven't had a checking account in over 5 years! Do not call them back - report them for harrassment and fraud. They are claiming they are a law office - this is incorrect and also fraudulent practices for debt collectors. They have to legally provide you in writing proof of the debt. They cannot do this. Even when you pay the debt they continue to harrass you and your relatives at home and work. If you can find them, sue them. They will also get a number in your area and call you from that number.
