I received a couple calls from this number and in calling them back I found out that they were an outsource company doing a follow-up survey about my recent DirecTV appointment.

DirecTV installation/service visit follow-up call. Did tech arrive on time, every thing as expected, etc. Callback number is the same in case there are concerns. You should expect such a call a few days after any visit to your home by a DirecTV technician.

No answer when I answered my cell phone. I did not give my number out for DirecTV to use in any way. Very disappointing. Might just give DirecTV their system back!

888 830-9905 called and I did not pick up. They left a message and I called the number and got a "live" person on the other end. I received technical service on my satellite yesterday and they were calling to see how things went.

They called and made some kind of weird laughing noise, and hung up.
I'd guess Ironwood, since we had direct TV installed yesterday, from what this page says.

No matter how many times I try to tell them not to call, they always manage to do so. I suppose one could change their service to their competitor and that might get their attention. But, I know their number so my system just filters them out as a "nuisance call" which they are. So, they get nothing; not even a hello.

Got a call from that number just now. I answered, there was just silence, then a computerized voice said, "Goodbye". I do have Direct TV, but that's still weird.

No name on my caller ID, just the number, if they can't id themselves, then why should I answer their call. When the answering machine picks up, the caller hangs up.

Has called me a few times. Never answered. I get weird numbers calling me everyday and its annoying. Ill answer and no one answers me. I never get a voicemail. But after coming here I relieze it must just be Directv. I had it installed last week. Its nice to know who it is.

Hang-up call. Based upon the info found here, the number must be related to Ironwood/Direct TV. Just had a new HD dish set-up last week. And yet again another failed installation by Ironwood. Direct TV says one thing, and Ironwood installs something else. They share a symbiotic dysfunction: poor quality of service, dish, and DVR systems, only to smight TIVO and screw customers over with complicated installations and additional wires! If not for the capitalist money w***es at the NFL, I'd have the Dish Network.

This number calls me almost everyday at all times of the day. I didn't know who it was, so I never picked up. They never leave a message. It's really annoying.

I did have Direct tv installed Wednesday but when I picked the phone up nobody answered. I will pickup if called again. I don't see a problem.

Answered call, it flipped over to a voice mailbox that said it was full and then hung up. No announcements, nothing. Called Ironwood at 800-805-8570 to let them know about their annoying callout process and how it fails to do nothing but irritate customers.

Received two calls on my Caller ID from the above number. If a company is not willing to Identify themselves, I'm not wasting my time and effort in talking to them. That's why I have Caller ID.
