I received a call at work, guy sounded creepy, like he makes prank calls, it was on my voice mail.  Told me to call back, 866-251-2396, but caller ID showed 888-831-8551,

Left a message to call this number "regarding a small business matter."  Strong accent (Australian?), male.  Did not give his name or the name of the organization for which he works.  Not about to return the call!!!

This is American Express Collections call center most likely from India, hence the accent.

what is wrong with you people. you get a call from someone you dont know then you get straight on the net and report it all. what a joke! CIA? yeah very likely they want to recruit someone that waits by the phone when they get a call they dont like they report it straight away. These people called my claiming to be from the Roswell, GA Police department calling me about a "pending case".  It's not the Roswell PD, I assure you.  Obviously a scumbag organization.

received several calls from (888) 831-8551, each leaving a message about a serious business matter.  The heavily accented, possibly Australian, female left a difficult to understand but firm message "I require a call back before this escalates".   When I called back ext 8211 Alisha Wright couldn't find my phone number (the same one they left messages on).  I asked the nature of the call - she replied I can't discuss that with you until I find your records.  OK I said what is the name of your company?  "I am not able to discuss that with you until I find your records."
Maybe the CIA wants me for a secret mission I thought.  This is exciting.  They want to ask me questions but refuse to tell me the name of the company.  I suggested they put me on their DO NOT CALL LIST.  I don't want to be bothered with annoying secret phone calls from undisclosed sources,

Your are a complete moron.  I don't have American Express, never had American Express and are getting calls from these folks.  Don't be so quick to judge people.  Why don't you just thank God that you are in a position to pay your bills on time.

I keep getting a call from these guys.......I have always paid my bills on time.....until the doubled my payments stating I may be a credit risk......So I filed bankrupcy......I sill get calls fron some these people....I just give them my number to my Lawyer

left a message for a person who had not lived at this number for over 15 years. Did not give any information when asked why she was looking for the person called.

its not telemarketing, if you co-operated with them you may find out who they are and why they are calling....

Caller said this was a home business investigation and it was very important we returned the call.  The person answering would not give me information.  We do not own a home business.

numerous calls from this number....shady group. I reported them for harrassing calls. I have no affiliation with American Express, so it must be a telemarketer or wrong number

Message left @ 1620 hrs on a Sunday unable to understand them as they talked very fast with accent.  returned the call and I asked what company they are with and she stated that she could not disclose that information.  I then asked why, with no answer.  I informed her that this was a number that was on the Do Not Call Registry and for them not to call again.  I think this is a fraudulent outfit at this number and should be reported to the authorities to trace.

Called my house line at 4:40 on a Sunday saying leaving a massage of " it is of personal business and to call back Ext: 8203 with a reference number.  he would not give the person that answered the phone any more details.

I called back to see if I could get any more info.
