I received a similar postcard with US Airlines and Thrifty Car Rental logo on it. Confirmation # 8524 and the phone number is 877-491-7403. It does not say anything about VIP Travel or even have a return address on it but smell likes the same scam. Thanks

We got the invite from VIP, attended the presentation and bought a cheaper pkg. for $3500 to save on cruises.  They couldn't save us any money.  We cancelled within the 3 day period as our contract stated.  That was April 27th, we're still waiting for our refund.  They lie, they don't let you talk to anyone with authority, they offer to give people hand written messages because they are too busy to answer the phone.  It's all a bunch of lies.  I'm ready to file a law suit.  I have already filed complaint with the BBB in S. Carolina and VIP also lied to the BBB and said the check was mailed.  If it was, someone else got it, not me.

Got my card today with an 888-576-1260 number on it. The travel provider is Elite Escapes International, LLC out of Las Vegas. It states that their Accounting Department shows that I have been awarded TWO ROUND TRIP AIRLINE TICKETS TO ANY MAJOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL USA.  If I respond in 72 hours I will get a complimentary 7 day car rental. It has the logos of Dollar Rent A Car and Southwest Airlines on it. The mailing also included a Boarding Pass with seat assignment and Gate number. Unbelievable!  What a waste of postage!!!

Got my post card the other day, same phone number and confirmation number as some of the others 1-888-610-3686 conf# 7957.  My travel dates are extremely flexible, so maybe the "free airline tickets" would work out, but after reading all of these comments I will not be calling.  Thanks everyone!

The free airline tickets and the free 7 day rent a car VIP travel offer you to attend their sales meeting are a scam. The airline tickets come with so many restrictions they are virtually useless and VIP travel won't make good on them. To get the rent a car you have to send $75 then they send you a reservation form. The forms states that you must submit 3 separate departure dates at least 30 days apart. How many people do you know have 3 dates 30 days apart that they know that need a rental car? VIP travel offered me a $100 gas card to compensate me for the useless airline tickets. In return they wanted to take back my formal complaint to the South Carolina consumer affairs Department. When I said no Kathy hung the phone up on me. I suggest that anyone who has been scammed by VIP travel to file a formal complaint with the South Carolina department of consumer affairs.

I just got the post card today with the # 888-576-1255 from VIP Travel.  The fact that they change the number so frequently hints at their legitimacy.  Think I'll pass.

November 30, we received a post card with the same return address.  The phone number was different (800-592-7471), but it is for the same folks.

Much to my embarrassment, I did phone and did go to the presentation...

Seems to be a promotion by a travel agency that has located in Durham.  It works like the TimeShare promotions....go in....sit for 90 minutes and get two airline tickets.
