Used for time shares...go to brooksspade.com

I called the number to try to get some more information from them.  They said the local group offering the promotion was "Hilton Head International Travel Club" Of course they wouldn't provide any further information without me giving them mine.

I live in Tybee Island, GA (near Savannah).  Same letter, conf # 2630. Looked suspicious adn "too good to be true".  Letter going into my recycle bin - will then be good for something

Another Hilton Head resident checking in. My letter arrived today; same info as the others mentioned above. I'll check with the Post Office tomorrow to see of there's anything they suggest we do.

Hilton Head Island here too.  Same letter as everyone else.  My confirmation number is also 2630.  It's goin' in the trash.

I got that same letter as well with confirmation number 2630 and live in Bluffton, SC. My suspicion is that they are selling some type of time share product and you get a free ticket if you buy it. Haven't called the number, just a a suspicion.

I live in Bluffton, SC too. I received this same letter on March 11th with an identical confirmation number. Funny that they claim to have attempted to call me... because I don't have a home phone number. I am just worried about HOW they obtained my address.

And BTW... there is no Hilton Head International Travel Club. (This was mentioned in a previous posting.)

Got the same letter today in South Carolina. Seems they are branching out!

Same letter. I called and asked for the company street address and was given 3015 North 48th St. Tempe 85040. If you Google the address you can read about how this is a rip-off.

Rec'd letter,plain envelope,hand addressed,no return address, stamp not cancelled,from Mark Sims VP Travel Awards Division of "brooks spade" with no office address. Says I qualified for award of $1,400 roundtrip aifare for two and to call 888-844-1631. Confirm # 2613. Believe may be scam as caller ID shows no calls from this number even though letter says they tried to contact me.

got the same letter from Brooks Spade with the Rocket logo in the middle. confirmation # is 2630, and round trip airfare for $1400.
seems they got this operation going on in the south, but at the bottom of the letter says other states.
seems like a bogus scheme to ask you for your personal info or credit card#. letter is typed but hand signed and my name and address is hand written. letter is signed by a female but name is mark sims.
seems fishy!!!!!!

We're here on Lady's Island.  Just got the same letter in the mail yesterday - Confirmation #2630, 1400.00 voucher, the whole nine yards.  Loved the fact that there was no return address on anything.  Little hard to report it to the post office if there's no return address, I suppose.  Oh, well. In the trash it goes!

Received same letter with confirm the same no address. Seems like this is common and has been reported with other 888 numbers for Brooks Spade

Rec'd a letter today with this phone number from brooks spade (Header not capitalized; with a rocket ship inbetween the name). Letter states that I have qualified for an "award" of roundtrip airfare for two, Retail Value up to $1,400.00. I called the number and a person answered saying, "Hello, this is Vicky. May I help you?" I didn't want to go into it so I told her I had the wrong number. It states that they have been trying to contact me several times with no success. I haven't received one phone call from them. Envelope is hand written and stamp not cancelled. Confirm # 2613. Seems like so many people are getting these. Who can we report this to? Obviously a scam to rip off people.

i received the identical scam letter today as well.  I would suggest letting the U.S.Postal Inspection service know so they can track and potentially respond

I received the same letter from brooks spade. I agree it's some kindda scam. Now if this was brooks HEART, I may call back since I am ALL HEARTS ;)

Received the same letter and attempted to dial using *67, to hide my phone number.  However, the call would not go through.

Just called the number and lady told me she was an appointment booking company for various travel agencies and companies.  I would be given the trip if I went to the required siminar.  Oh, and the tax on the whole trip would also be my responsibility.  Checked with BBB and it is legitimate if they disclose this info freely.  So, as consumers we should rightfully be wary.

I received the same letter. I live in Beaufort, SC. What concerns me is not so much that its a scam, but so much that how did these people get my name and address? I'm not listed in ANY phone book! Does that concern anyone else?
