This number has been calling me 1 - 2 times a day now for the past week ... answered last night and the said that they were calling from RBC, the Advice Department, wanting to discuss how to optimize my products with RBC. What bull crap, they ppl piss me off - scam artists. And today now they're calling again because I refused to discuss with them yesterday ?. :@

This is a scam, I agree. I paid off and cancelled my MC and even had the agent put a note on my account that it's been settled. I'm still getting phonecalls from this number although I have never ever picked up. If it was urgent and legit they would leave a pre-recorded message stating that it is indeed President's choice based on my own previous experience.
Damned vultures. Be careful with your private info everyone. It's horrific how scammers would do anything to get a piece of the pie that's not even theirs.

And whoever is doing this, is quite the small group to end up calling the same number over and over again.
Maybe they have a system in place to automate robo-calling in 'phishing message mode' and 'spamming mode'.
Whoever is the head honcho in the group, would likely be someone with IT experience, and maybe internationally residing somewhere outside the country, to deflect any attempts to pin the cause on them.
Kai 2013-03-08 16:19:01 Unknown
Also looking at the times they called, they would never call past 9pm, as they themselves would have to sleep.
The calls starts again from 12pm onward, meaning whoever is doing this is doing it straight from their homes, not from a office.
This means whoever is in that little group, either playing pranks or assisting in their fraudulent activities, are most likely not knowledgeable about security or proxies, if so, they could be following guidelines to scam people for money.
I'll see if I can sic a hacker on them.

These are the three numbers these spoofers use, how can I tell?
When they call every 3-10 minutes, and my household does not get calls much in a day, not even 3.
These are the numbers that are rotated, and when you pick up, there are no voice.
Kai 2013-03-07 01:12:01 Unknown
They are likely using VOIP based calls and spoofing to fake their names, since a business would want zero connections to harassment charges.
Anyone here knows how to hack? Preferably reverse engineer phone numbers to find the IP associated if they called via VOIP to your VOIP box?

These idiots keep calling me asking for someone else. I do not have an account with them and never did. IT'S ONLY 8 times I tell them they have the wrong number. P.S. I am also on the international DO NOT CALL LIST, therefore DON'T CALL.
Jason 2012-08-01 00:11:30 Unknown
Its odd that people are getting different information from PC. We have been getting calls from the same number. Its a robo call 3 times or so per day. We just called PC and my wifes credit card was $80 dollars over the limit. The rep said yes, the calls are legit and its to offer a credit limit increase to those that are over limit or near limit!
This is terrible business practice! We have other PC services and never had issues.

This number called me at 8:30 am. They hung up after the third ring. i juts got to the phone at the third ring but they were gone. On the 4th ring they would have got me or the answering machine. This isn't the first time that I got this call. Other times it is dead air. So why bother to call??? Makes me suspicious and less likely to answer in future.

I've told them over and over again, this is not Richard Vandal. He gave you a wrong telephone number or knew exactly what he was doing in giving you a number that doesn't belong to him. I told them to remove my number from Richard Vandal's file, it's the wrong F$%&ing number morons. The only positive I can take from this is, If they lend money out this easy to people, they should be broke soon.

Guys, THIS forum is also being watched by them... I can take a good estimated guess in that this is much deeper than you are seeing as is.
It's quite possible this is one of those pyramid schemes set up, where they pay people to do nothing but sit at a computer, and write 'positive' stuff about bad stuff, to mislead the community.
Lets see if they like it when hackers starts knocking on their systems eh?
Also everyone should read up some more new tid bits on frauds and scams, as more than 50 billion are lost every year or so in Canada to fraudster.

I received a call from this number on both my cell and my home phones in quick succession. I called it back, and when I spoke to them, yes it was the accounts receivable for PC Mastercard. What is weird is that I don't have a Mastercard, and when Igave my home number, it didn't show up on the system. Then I gave my cell, and it did show up, but for a "Majinder." I get that maybe he had my cell number before me, but how the heck did they get my home number?
tired of the calls 2012-02-23 16:46:09 Unknown
If it is PC Mastercard they have no right to call me since my bills are ALWAYS paid in full every month. They never leave a message either.
