I have filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, IC3 and NJ Attorney General against these people.

The BBB has closed the case because the company never answered their requests!!

Someone from Klein and Associates called my HR department at work and told them if I did not call them back they were coming to my job to have me arrested. I called them back; and they demanded I make payment arrangements or they were going to come to my job and arrest me. I set up payments of $300.00 for 4 payments. I have no idea who they are or what they are collecting on. They refused to give me any information. After I paid the initial $300.00 I closed my account. They did contact me again and I told them I wasn't paying anything else until they sent me proof of what I owed. I never heard back from them.

Well how interesting Im reading all these reports from this bunch of idiots!!!!!!!!!!  Some lady called, threating papers were gonna be served on my husband, to contact Donald Walker!!!!!!  I called that stupid 800 number they put me through to Ryan Lewis and I have yet to speak directly to Donald Walker..........HHHUUUUUUUUMMMMMM They say my husband owes on a Debit Card from 2007 that we never had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Now I have ask for records, proof of this credit card, anything to show we owed almost 1500.00 and they cant provide me with anything but threats of wage garnishment..........So like an idiot I made a payment plan with them for 254.00 a month for 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have had a really bad feeling about this and they are not getting a DIME from us..........Iam going to contact the FBI, BBB, and whom ever I need to for this to stop, they are threating wage garnishment and we live in Texas from what I have found on the internet they cant garnish wages in Texas for credit cards after 4 years and without taking us to court I think it's time to get a lawyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm SO glad I found this thread.  A Mr. Dixon called my job yesterday and demanded to speak to my supervisor.  My co-workers wouldn't transfer him.  He called back several times and eventually left a message with a co-worker.  The number he left was: 888-438-0878.  I called this number after hours last night, and sure enough, the voice message mentioned Klein & Associates.  I initially thought the call was strange because they asked to speak to my supervisor, yet they never attempted to contact me.  I found a thread on 800notes regarding the number I listed above, but couldn't really find any additional info on that number when doing a search.  So I did a Google search on: Klein Associates, summons, called job, and I found this thread. I definitely think these are the same people.

Ok so I did some research They are not an attorneys firm I reported them to the CA BAR they are having the District Attorney as well as the CA Bar investigate them. They will be making random calls into them to verify they are indeed using that they are a legal firm. There is no licensed attorney registered to said name or address of this company. They have also instructed all of us to hire an attorney because you can get paid and file suit against them they are a bill collection firm and therefore must follow the laws of a collection firm. http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpajump.shtm because I waited and was never served and did the research with my local authorities and courthouese there was never a suit filed against me they lied and therefore because they used threat without intent they are going to be paying me. You to could be getting paid look up attorneys

These people are unbelievable they told me the same amount 1542.10 WOW sounds like every bill in their fake attorneys office is that much. They are bill collectors posing as attorneys. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE AT ALL WHAT SO EVER and yes they will say of course we have complaints from people who don't want to pay their bills! That's not true don't believe them They lie cheat and steal for a living! Here's how it works if you actually do go to court and you do get sued there is a mediator there because I have been sued before they actually give you a better price through the mediator in court! You DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ATTORNEYS FEES THAT IS A LIE! I wouldn't call back then if you don't actually get served in a few days you know it was a lie they called me three weeks ago still waiting to be served LIARS!

Which type of lawyer did you obtain? They had the NERVE TO CALL ME ON A RESTRICTED NUMBER JUST NOW..and left me a message stating I had put a stop payment on my account. I sure did!!! Told me to contact Melissa Levy before 3pm to see if I want to set up payment arrangements on my own. Left the number we all know and love 1-888-846-3275! I would like the name of the attorney you obtained if possible.

They called me this afternoon. Lady said she was from legal support services, calling on behalf of marcus wright at klein or kliner associates. She said I had to call him regarding my summons to appear in court or it would result in an order for my arrest. The number was 714-798-5859. Pretty sick that people are that desperate and having nothing better to do. She said that I had to call back with my address aand schedule a time that I will be home to accept the summons. Wtf!

I have contacted a lawyer due to these low lifes contacting my work. The lawyer was more than happy to take the case due to hearing about these dirt bags from several potential clients. There are SEVERAL laws that were and are broken daily by these con artists. They called me back and I was ready, went up and down these rejects and Mr.Lewis who sounds 10 years old had nothing to say. Through the Law Firm I have obtained we feel we will be able to find these people through the info I have. I haven't paid them a red cent however they have broken laws which will land a law suit right back on them. If you have paid them money, SEEK LEGAL ACTION!!!! If they contacted your employer, SEEK LEGAL ACTION!!!!!!!!!! If these scum bags called you, SEEK LEGAL ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have paid this Klien & Associates 300 of my hard earned money to find out this is a SCAM!!!! I was told that they tried to serve me papers for a Delaware Continential credit card I had not used in 3yrs saying I owe $1,542.10 and to avoid being garnished I had to set up payment arrangements. I have no paperwork stating this payment plan is affect.

They have called everyone I know. R very rude and even called on a saturdau saying I had court on monday. Please how dumb is that.No information on which court no papers sent to my house and not on any court system records huh?

I have made contact with the AG of New Hampshire, they are aware of this company and are in the process of taking action against these wonderful folks!!! Also have submitted complaints with the FBI and FCC. I suggest Klein Assco's contribute to society in a positive manner!

They called my SUPERVISOR at my employer stating they were trying to serve me a summons from a Kleiner Associates. My phone number has not changed in 15 years, I have not received a call at work, home, cell. I have received no mail, no email, NOTHING. I have no outstanding balances or money owed on anything-(just bought a brand new car and credit was great) I called the number back and it was answered by a women who said "hello" as if I had contacted a household??? I asked to speak with "Donald Walker" due to he was the one "serving" me. I was put through to "Ryan Lewis" voicemail. I have yet to hear back, when I do I will inform them I am aware they are a scam and I have reported them to the FCC, Better Business Bureau as well as the FBI. From everything I have read they cannot substantiate any claims and demand to be paid by using scare tactics and being demeaning and rude. I plan on giving this number and ALL information complied to the FCC and New Hampshire Attorney General.

I received a message from the receptionist at my job from a Walter Stevens from 888-846-3275 in regards to ref #7529-19 stating that I have a summons to appear in court.  After putting this phone number into Google, I saw all of these posts stating that this was a SCAM from the Law Firm of Kliner Associates/Klein Associates not sure which one is correct!  This is the 2nd time that some fraudulant company has called my place of business with this nonsense! If this kind of unnecessary scamming continues and my job becomes affected by this.....YOU WILL HEAR FROM MY LAWYER as well as the authorities!!!!!!  So I advise you....WHO EVER YOU ARE....to STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!
