Stop calling my number

Automated call: woman with a british accent. Calling for "Robert Bush" to settle a Dish Account.  Press 1 if you are "Robert Bush", Press 2 if you need a minute to get him to the phone.  For kicks, I pressed 1.  "this is your last notice. To make a payment on your Dish account using a credit card, press 1..... etc." [Obviously a phishing scam] I waited for an option ("0") to speak to  a person.  I told her that I was not Robert Bush and that I worked for a law firm that was currently investigating these so called companies.  I told her not to call back again. She was very flustered and said "Yes, ma'am, Yes, ma'am" and rushed to get off the phone.  I asked her if she needed my request in writing, so said "No, ma'am.  Sorry ma'am."  and hung up the phone.

Do not call anymore. No message left. Usually dish network would leave a message, but i dont kniw who these people are.

yes, this is Dish Network - I am getting the call because I have let my satellite TV service go off - I am under no contract with them so I will decide when I am ready to reinstate my service - they are just trying to encourage me to do it sooner...lol

Computer dialed.  The lady asked for "John Thomas".  It's not often you get telemarketers calling to ask for p***s.

If that were true, they would talk to you when you do answer the phone. I have been getting called from this number and nobody answers when I say hello and they never leave a voicemail.

They have called me non stop for the past 2 weeks. So annoying.

I've been getting calls from this number.  Two days ago I asked them to remove my phone number (cell from STRAIGHT TALK).  They said they would, yet I've continued to receive calls within the last two days.  This morning they called again, said the call would be monitored and asked for some name I've never heard of.  I told them they had the wrong number and hung up.  But I wanted to know why they kept calling after I told them to stop two days previous.  So I called THEM back.  It IS Dish Network.  I first spoke with Micky, then to Brandi and finally to Amanda.  Apparently my new cell phone number (from STRAIGHT TALK) is associated with the account of one of their customers..  

Amanda said she removed my number from that person's account, however the auto-dialers could still continue to call for up to 31 days.  And if I continue to receive calls after those 31 days, I should call Dish back at this number 303-942-8605.  Everyone I spoke with was courteous and respectful and I appreciated their efforts to help me.  (just wanted to say that since they seem to be developing a bad name for themselves, ;)

I get literally 20 calls a week for the past 3 and a half weeks from this phone number to a free text app, so I call back and they say I'm missing information for my tax returns and something with getting charged I don't think its tax return time... So i gave them a set of false information I use, like a dummy email and other things, 2 days later my dummy email is hacked. Wouldn't ya know , it's a phishing number

Its scam..got called few time and no one answered from the other end except today and lady said she was calling from Dish regarding my pending equipment return and i have due of $110...and how would i like to make payment with credit/debit/check....lol you are right!!!!! this is big scam... called actual dish network and they are not aware of any of call made from their end. and have nothing pending...Just be careful!!!!!

Four calls yesterday and one today...I have never had DISH and never will.  I even got one at 11 pm!!!!

Called for the second day in a row. Yesterday I was busy and did not pick up, and they didn't leave a message I thought that meant they must be a telemarketer. Just got another call today, and no one said anything on the other end. Reading the below comments, it's probably DishNetwork, because I cancelled my service with them earlier this year. I will now block this number permanently from my phone.

Oops!  I listed StraightTalk as the caller, but they are my phone service.  From what I read above, the caller is DISH Network (or a scammer saying they're DISH.)

I recently bought a StraightTalk sim card with a phone number.  A few days after I activated the account I started getting calls from this # twice a day.  I have never had DISH Network in my life, nor will I ever.  I have only given out my phone # to a few family and friends, so they only way the caller could get my number is if StraightTalk (a Tracfone brand) gave it to them... or they gave me a dirty/used phone number to begin with.  I also started receiving marketing text messages shortly after I activated my new StraightTalk sim card.  I called StraightTalk and they repeatedly told me they do not sell/rent/give away users phone numbers.  But that is a lie because again, there is no other way (other than them giving me a used phone number) any marketer would have my number.

Get several phone calls a day from this number on my CELL phone.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.  They never leave a message.

they keep calling, it is Dish and they keep asking for someone who I have no clue about a bill or their equiptment. Makes no different if you tell them you are not that person, they continue to hurass you. I think they should be a law against it... Once you tell them you are not that person and/or have no clue who that person is they should remove your number from their data base, but they don't. They are idiots!!

I called this number and the recording identified the company as DISH Network. I canceled DISH Network and TWC(internet) and wnt with AT&T bundled service, saved 100.00 a month. I called both companies before I canceled and thy could not come up with any additional savings. Since then I have gotten many calls from DISH trying to give me free service for 3 months. I have told them over and over again that they window had closed. Do not call me back but they stil call twice a day. Just put them on reject list.

I activated my tracfone with a new number.the very next day I started to get calls from this number. this has been going on for 6 weeks every day at the same time. I am begining to wonder if tracfone doesnt give out our numbers in order for us to use more minutes and have to buy more just a thought.
