Let me know if there is anything I can do. Can I get my trip validated or is this a scam?

Who wants to start a law suite, send me your info, so I can start a data base, and get in touch with the Florida government!

I also purchased a pkg in Feb 2009, it took this long to find the company.
the letter from "Costa Rica & Cancum Resort" states old web info and phone numbers.
The website is now www.startvacationnows.com and the phone number is 1-866-280-3120.
How do we start a major law suit against them.
They are in Orlando! I guess!
Help!!

Kevin 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown
I spent $199 for the same as allof the above and now the number doesn't work at all. WTF!
g 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown
it worked i called and they are honoring the package!
Katherine 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown
They are not part of RCI They are just saying that to make themselves seem more credible. I have received a few calls from this number, even after asking them to remove me from their calling list.
I am sorry for those of you who bought their tale but this is definitely a scam. If you "won" a 9 day package at a resort or a 4 nights, and a cruise or whatever that package may be, they don't need your credit card information and you shouldn't be paying anything for it.
When they call you up with an incredible deal - generally speaking if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. It is unfortunate that so many have been duped by these methods and I am sorry that this happened to you but you really need to be more careful about telephone solicitors. When they call and ask for your credit card information tell them you do not give that information out over the phone and ask them to send you proper paper work. This will also allow you to look up the company and find out what you are getting into before making any decisions. And if they refuse to do so - RUN away from the deal as FAST As you can. That is a guaranteed sign of a scam.
Honestly, their "deals" are not all that spectacular and I am sure you can find something even better through a certified travel counsellor.
I would also suggest making sure you do not receive any other questionable charges on your credit card.

I have been trying to get hold of them and can't either. I think it was a scam. I promised my adult daughter and her children the floria part as it could be transferred to a family member. They hoped
to go during Christmas holidays. What a disappointment! I'm still trying but all I get is ringing that sounds like a fax number.
dianne jones 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown
I'm afraid this has been a scam. Purchased a promotion for $499 US. Have not been able to get
hold of anyone, line busy. Now when I try it sounds like a fax ringing. I am more than unhappy.
I have contacted legal advice about this. I think someone should be sued!!!!
rebe 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown

Karen 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown
I hope this isn't a scam. I purchased the exact same package for $498 and just tried to call to make my reservation to Costa Rica and I get a fast busy signal!!! I called about a month ago and spoke to someone about it. Everything seemed valid at the time. Now I'm very worried! I'll try again tomorrow morning.
bubba 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown

Rae 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown

A lawyer is looking real good right now. If this is a scam these people need to be charged.
So far okay 2011-06-06 21:06:03 Unknown
I've gone on one of the vacations offered by this group. Spent several days in Cancun. It is, of course, a promotional process, and the sales pressure is fairly high. They say a 90 minute presentation, but anticipate more (perhaps much more).
Had to cancel a vacation today. Had no problems once I found their new website. Easycrtrip.com isn't working for me, so I had to go to greatvacationsnow.com. Their customer service/booking number worked. Now I have to see if they refund the 'transportation fee' they charged to/from the airport.

I too got scammed. We bought one of their packages with free nights for $300. The first day we arrived in Orlando, they put us up at the Summer Bay Inn - a roach infested motel - which forced us to pay $$$ to upgrade to a condo at their resort! In Ft lauderdale, they put us up at a resort which was 1 hour from the beach, kept up waiting 90 minutes to start a presentation at 2:30 in the afternoon! and then tried to keep us there for another 2 hours for a timeshare presentation!
Stay away from this company!!!

I purchased this 2 years ago, with up to 3 years to use it. There was a different site then & phone number. They changed it on my & didnt give me any notification. The only way I got ahold of them was from googling them & getting this site. Thanks by the way for posting so much. They tell you its 199 or 299 or what ever but for Canadians 799? plus the 299. Good God I spent well over 1000.00. & now cant even use it! Aperently you can transfer it so I am going to give it to my dad. The woman I talked to at the http://www.greatvacationsnow.com/ & the 1866-280-3120 number.
she said sorry for the inconvience or not giving me the new phone number & website address. Sorry!! Really! I wouldnt have gotten ahold of anyone if it was not for all these lovely people posting on here.
(The old number was 1888-849-9961 & yes was always busy. the old website which No loner exisits is www.myeasytrip.com) There was a few number that I wrote down on my confirmation papers not sure if they work or not I 506-255-0607.1-866-516-8111. 616-980-2896 I am not sure if these are working phone number so please dont get mad if they dont work :) this was numbers from 2 years ago.
Also when you log into your account becareful!! Your phone number is the only key to get into your
account! you can type any email & it will work, this is not a safe site at all! Anyone who has your phone number can hack into your account & change the info at anytime!
I am very upset that I spent all this money & I can transfer it to someone else but who knows if its even real imagine flying all the way to Costa Rica & finding out there is no resort!! Wow these guys are a joke! you have 7 days to cancel. If you are within those 7 days CANCEL!

I received a call a couple of hours ago and the call lasted about 35 minutes... I won ~ 5 days and 4 nights in Costa Rica ~ 4 days and 3 nights in Orlando, Florida ~ 2 theme park tickets ~ 3 days and 2 nights in Daytona Beach, Florida ~ 2 Nascar USA tickets ~ 4 days and 3 nights in the Bahamas *****Transportation not included, cruise option available for additional service and processing fees per person. Now they said they were RCI (resort condominium International) .... Promotion due to something with Sear's or Macy's, which I had just signed up online at sears.ca a week prior, I contacted Sears they don't offer any of those promotions and have there fraud and security department investigating it. I called a couple Travel agencies and they called it a valid website and knew of them, now I don't know what to do... they gave me this site to log on www.easycrtrip.com on this page shows my information and what I won and the balance due to get this promotion... Please help...

Sold my 85 yr. old grandmother a fake trip and chaged her $1150.00.
Call centre is in florida according to the girl I talked too (She hung up on me). Letter came from costa rica.
Laws in the fake contract they sent are from the "State of Victoria" in Australia.
