This number called my cp and informed me I had to upgrade my cp or lose my service. I immediately noticed the call originated from METRO-PCS SOUTH.  The caller left no voicemail message, but it generated a text message which I locked for future proof.

Repeated, unwanted calls from this number to my new CELL phone. NEVER leaves a message, just keeps callling back.  Isn't this ILLEGAL ??   (It should be !)

Had a call from them as well.  I almost didnt get service because morons couldnt give me a maine number saying they had no maine numbers.  Four different reps said that after I spent about two hours on the phone despite the fact they have like ten stores there.  Got help from a highscool kid working at a Maine store that I had called who said the rep had to pull Maine from the list for the Boston area.  IfI hadnt called, they were not going to get me as a customer.  And the rep I spoke the last was Hispanic and not Middle Eastern...  But I love the 30-32gb speed on 4g LTE...  Faster than my home computers. ..

George, and everyone! Not only does T mobile own Metro PCS, but on my contract with Ghetro, it has, in the upper right corner, PG&E, BOX 997300, SACRAMENTO, CA. I don't know how they fit into this merging or swallowing of corporations, but it all stinks! The new trend of corporations is to file themselves under L.L.C. (Limited Liability Corporation), which gives them both a more benign title, and the ability to escape major (class action) suits against them. Another 'deal with the devil' aka government. Do any of you really believe ANY of your voting has any affect on the outcomes. The world is run by multi trillionaires, not politicians. That's their front (voting) to distract you from what's really going on. Democrat, Republican, Tea Party, independents are all part of the same drama for perpetuating your ignorance, well many, if not most of you. Educate yourseves, and surely not your local media, that's just 'show business'.

I called that number, and the person, I beieve a Mexican, though possibly from any of the central and south americans. He said he didn't do it, and I said possibly someone in your household, or friends using your phone are either 'pranking' or much worse, trying to gather info on you. Proceed with caution and documentation via your phone records. Any crooked lawyer could try to file a suit on you under the guise of harrassment, or even 'ethnic' discrimination. I'm on your side!

Right after reactivating my Hauwei phone, paying the activation fee and 2 other fees, NOT listed on my credit card reciept and the $40 for the month, I got several messages on the phone, telling me to pay $55 or so, by the 28th of the same month or lose my connection! Ifuriously replied, only to be told 'you have to abide by the rules and policies of Ghetro PCS' with no further communication. I have my contract and dubious reciept, but so far, it isn't helping me. I join all of you with problems with the corporation! They also have the worst in-store customer service I've ever experienced,. Only Comcast/Xfinity is as bad, and AT&T is 'moneywise' a greedy pig, like BofA. Groups of people CAN have an affect, but individuals are simply victims, unless you think you can 'out lawyer' them, and that's a  joke!  from Half Moon Bay, CA.

Had some trouble paying my Metro PCS bill online this month.  Usually not an issue, and it got straightened out after a few calls to their customer service number.  They told me to expect a call within a day or two regarding a survey about my experience.  This was the call, I guess.  No worries, kids, no debt collector, no problem.  I actually missed the call, called the number back, and it provided me with a ton of info regarding my account, however, no survey.  Actually, it is a helpful number to have if you use Metro PCS.

I went to the metropcs in dallas tx on lakejune and master it was two hispanic ladies there I ask if they could switch the number from the old phone to new metro phone today 7-31-13 it was around 5:15 the lady was sitting behind the counter on the right handside she flat out refuse to help me I told her that my husband son just bought the phone and we was told that they could put his old number in the phone so she said you have to do it at the time you get the phone which sound so stupid to me so she would'nt help me and my husband my husband is disable and he needed his phone this young lady did'nt even care where did yall find these two youngladies neither one of them would help us but they want a paycheck when it time to get payed.so I went on down the street the young men did it with no question ask he was really nice and helpful.them two ladies do'nt need a job they are lazy they do'nt care about the customers.

I have Metro PCS have had repeated problems with my phone service since January 2013.  The store in Kentwood Michigan has replaced my phone 4 x's since January.  I paid my bill on June 17, 2013 my phone again stopped working "NO SERVICE" , CALLS DROP.  Called customer service they are useless. Took my payment and will not give a refund or exchange my phone.  I was offered a downgrade phone, smaller, not the same quality.  After my research I find this is the only phone metro sells that will use T Mobile towers.  I don't want a contract but want good service, internet, web and text for a reasonable price.  Apparently, Metro PCS offers internet, text and unlimited calls without customer service. Provide less then quality phones secures customers because those whom don't want contracts are forced to repeatedly purchase new phones just to have service.  They also will not provide any phone numbers or addresses to the higher to anyone except the stores.  Why are they hiding?

Just switched to T-mobile for their no-contract plan. Just received a call from this number. Much better service and face-time than Metro PCS.

I was a big ol 5 liner account & just got tired of  slowwwwww data or no data all the time, plus customer service does suck! Always get someone who doesn't understand what I am saying & they never admit they are wrong or fix anything. If they charge you for something they werent' suposed to they still won't refund your money. I just switched to Tmobile yesterday & get this not 2-3 calls but.....6 calls on one of my new lines in about 1 hr & 8 calls on my new line in about 1 hour!!!!, I don't have my other lines on right now so they haven't been able to call those phones yet,lol.

has anyone tried to pay their bill online and couldn't complete it?  only for you to call metropc and they willingly process the payment for a service charge ... lastly at the subscribers request metro s toll free number isn't allowed from pay phones ... meaning it's free when you call from someone  else phone ...

Switched from metro pcs to virgin mobile, yesterday....today I've been getting calls all day from this #. Metro pcs sucks. I was paying $60.00 a month with no Internet, & barely had service. Switched to virgin mobile iPhone 4, I pay $30.00 a month, no contract, unlimited web & data, text, only have 300 min. But I barely talk. So this plan is awesome.!!!!

I just got a call too, it is Metro PCS, I love the service and the rates are excellent!!  I was able to buy a  nice android phone with the money I saved dumping Verizon who I can't stand.  I no longer have to worry about minutes and can text and go online whenever I want for a small price, also, for one dollar I get the block it feature and can block whoever I don't want to talk to, they also offer caller id.  Hands downs the best of the best for my needs :)))

The people in their stores need some serious customer service training.

They are most likely trying to find out more info about your pending refund. Oops to you! MetroPCS does not collect debts - if they are calling it's more likely they owe you.

Well, I guess it really just depends on your personal situation.  I live just north of Los Angeles and my cell service is 99% fine for me.  Their customer service has always been excellent as well... and in decent English.  For a flat $40 a month I never have to worry about going over my minutes for calls or text messages.  I also have an AT&T cell phone for my business and there are places around here where there are service holes with it too.  None of them are perfect but it really depends on where you live and what your needs (and budget) are.

Actually... they may or may not pass on the cost to their consumers.  It depends on the business they are in and whether such a move would keep them competitive.  It's like corporate taxes.  If they all have to pay them then yes, they do pass them on to consumers since consumers can't escape paying the higher resulting costs by going to a competitor.  In essence corporations don't really pay taxes... the last guy in the commercial chain (the end consumer) pays all taxes as they are passed down the line.  When it comes to things like the toll charges mentioned here it's another matter.  Unless every competitor of theirs also has the same additional costs it definitely can affect their bottom line and thus their ability to compete and stay in business.  In reality, this company, whoever they are, would simply adjust their operations and tactics before letting toll charges put them under.
