I have been receiving calls from this number for over a week - six or seven times a day!  I never answer it and they never leave a message.  Can someone please put a stop to it???

keeps calling.  I don't answer because I don't recognize the number.

I'm still getting these calls.  My number is on State and Federal "do not call" registers.  What now?

They called my phone. Turns out they are some group trying to get my father to help them keep teachers in the classroom or some crap like that. He said they weren't looking for money but wanted to transfer him to the Governors office to "voice his support". I told him I would let him know and if he was interested he would contact them on his own time. The line disconnected.

I don't know if this is a real scammer or not but hopefully they won't call again. They're never going to speak to my father no matter how many times they call.

Same here.  I am in Minnesota.

I just checked my parents call list for the past month and there were over 20 calls from this number, they call during daytime so no one is ever there to answer. I put them on our call forwarding list and will be happy to speak with them when they get transfered to my phone. I live to waste the time of these losers. I've been known to keep them on the phone for 30 minutes.

I am seriously overjoyed to give these scammers a piece of my mind. For everyone else...put them on your phone company's block list and make sure you report the number to them as well. Comcast has a specific department for telephone fraud.

In the past two days, I've had several calls from this number on my caller ID.  On one call, they thought they were talking to me, even though the message said they had reached my voicemail.  The female caller asked for me by name and kept saying hello over and over before she hung up.

I am on both state and federal do not call lists.

Just got a call from this number, picked up said "hello?" nothing. Kept saying "hello?" got weird static-y garbled sound then they hung up. Called back and got "this number is disconnected" message. I've never really gotten spam calls other than last year from the military asking me to join but that was never an 800 number.
Prank call? Seeing as it is April 1st.

Got a call from this number this morning and as usual they leave no message. Who pays these idiots

Call your phone service provider. We use Comcast digital phone service. Just talked to their tech people. They believe that this number is used as a " 3rd party provider."  Whoever is calling uses this number to hide the true number being used to call. Good news is that Comcast can block ALL 3rd party provider calls.  Takes anywhere from 4 to 24 hours for blocking software to work. The light is at the end of the tunnel.  Again, call your phone service privider and ask if they can block all 3rd party providers.

Got 2 so far this morning before 11:30 in Sussex County NJ.  I do not answer the phone to ANY number that does not have a name on my caller ID and will not make an exception now that I have read these comments

Got a call from this number. A group collectiing votes for to help the animals from the oil spill. Said they are not asking for donations. If I would vote they would connect me to a senator. I said I guess. They connect me to a lady and I just gave her a zipcode. Man I hope I didn't give away anything by that. It sounded ligitimate. I thought only the zipcode. Then when I hung up, I wonder what kind of spam could use your zipcode.

Got a call from this number and when I tried to call it back, recording said this number was no longer in service. So how can someone call from a number that is not in service???

This number is A joke, they dont leave a message on the answering machine, they just keep calling,I dont answer numbers that I dont no,or that has no name to it.its just A nerve recking experience. I hope this will block it.

This caller actually left me a message  - Aunt ______, this is (mumbled), call me back.
I don't have any nieces.

I keep getting calls from 888-864-5610.   No one says anything.when I call it back it says the number is not working. How can I block this number.

Received the call at 4:42 PM on 2/14/2012 - answered it but no response, so I hung up.  Wish I had checked this site before it came through!!

Didn't answer; no messages, Urgh. This started happening when I accidentally answered a call from CARD CENTER a few weeks ago. Urgh.

2-3 calls daily...no one on the line.

This is how you eliminate Most of these annoying calls.  Google do not call registry and get on their website and put in your name phone number and get on this list. Some of these calls will still get through but it should stop most of them.

Called once, no pickup on answer, I answered again and a guy came on line and said "hello" but hung up when I quietly said hello back (I was out).

This number calls frequently and when they aren't able to speak to my husband they get snotty and tell me they'll just return the call even though I specifically say each time to not call back. I'm becoming infuriated.

Calls from this # I answer and they hang up.

Received this call with no response. Caller hung up when V.M. started. Don't remember what came up on Caller ID.
