I received numerous calls (every three days) on my cell phone from this number and other 877 numbers that all referred to an auto or personal loan.

HERE'S WHAT YOU DO TO GET IT TO STOP...

1. Record the date and time of every call you receive.
2. Send a CERTIFIED LETTER to the following addresses demanding that your phone number is removed from this and any other lists. State in the letter that the company is in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and that if the calls continue you will take legal action.
3. IF THE CALLS DO NOT STOP, YOU CAN SUE IN SMALL CLAIMS FOR $500 FOR EACH CALL.

Since SVM is a Nevada Corporation, make sure you also send to American Legal Services listed above. This is the company that would receive small claims papers if you need to serve the company for continued violations.

I sent TWO CERTIFIED LETTERS for $3 each (a small price to pay for peace), and one week later the calls STOPPED. Too bad... I wanted to sue the pants off these guys since I had received over 10 calls and had them all recorded. That would have been $5,000 in small claims court.

wtf i hated these scam crap....they always call me and leave me message all the time...i thought i was approve for 10000 credit card that i was waiting for to paid all my debt.but actually i research online and find out that this number is  a scam....so please stay away from what they wanted info. from your bank account...also....i read all you good people comments are great for everyone who should know about this and need to stop this scam right now.

Periodically have recieved calls from this number most recently beginning again on 10/17/2007. These calls are coming to my business phone.

Hey after you contact donotcall.gov and their host; Why not do as I did and send a message to Google AdWords, and visa.com (or MasterCard as the case may be?)

There has to be something we can do to get these calls to stop. They must be breaking laws. Has anyone spoken to a real person at this # or just a computer? It's gotta be a scam.

I would not give out my banking information to anyone over the phone except my bank.

These pests have been calling my cell phone almost daily for over a month.  I have reported them to DO NOT CALL and the FTC but nothing happens.

I got a call on my cell phone today from displayed number 714-460-9304. They asked for name which was one I had used on fake application to the 888-864-9519 Stored Value Marketing telemarketer.
Caller identified company as Equistar in Santa Ana, CA.  When I mentioned connection to unlawful telemarketing she said she would get a supervisor and put me on hold for a few minutes until I hung up.

I get this call all the time. They even leave an automated message telling me I have been approved for a $10,000 credit line. The machine cuts off before they finish the message. they call themselves fortress secure Inc. I looked it up and got this site. I tried to call the number and get the same message as everyone else. I am registered with the do not call registry also. I wish they would leave me alone. My worry is they say I am approved, are we sure they do not have any personal info that they shouldn't. I am a little worried about this and do not know where to get answers about my fears. My caller I.D. use to show the number when they called but now is showing BLOCKED CALL.

I have been getting calls from 888-864-9519 for several days. It is an automated call and says to press 9 if I do not want to be called again.  I pressed 9 on two of their calls.  But, it does not change anything.  Keep on receiving the calls from them.  Tried calling back, can't get through the automated phone tree to get to a human.

Same problem everyone is reporting. I'm filing the complaints and encourage everyone to do the same

The lady told me that I was approved for a Platinum Visa card with a $10,000 credit limit.

Received several calls from this number in two days. Called the number back and it had a recording about being approved for a $10,000 credit line.

GOT A TEXT MESSAGE FROM THIS OUTFIT ON MY CELL, THE NUMBER THEY GAVE IS 877-754-3405 AND IT DIRECTS YOU TO A LOAN DISCLAIMER FROM 'FORTRESS SECURED'

Hello. We've been trying to reach Shantae about a loan

8888649519 constantly calls and leaves messages about my approval of a loan or car loan and then leaves a call back number which is 8772180169. i have bee registered with dnc for 4years and i thought i would never get these calls.watch out for these numbers

In addition to the information posted by 'Good luck' telling us to send certified letters to demand that calls from 888-864-9519 stop, we might also want to email and/or call Martin G. Crowley.  He is the Nevada attorney doing business as American Legal Services, the agent registered with the state of Nevada for Stored Value Marketing, Inc.  He lists his email address as martincrowley@lawyer.com.  The toll-free telephone for American Legal Services is 1-888-786-LAWS.  If everyone sent a letter,emailed and called (all 3) to complain about his client, perhaps the volume of complaints would be a big enough headache for Mr. Crowley to do something about his scofflaw client.

Answering a phone with no one on other end is usually a marketing action. Marketer is using an Automated dialing machine.
If Marketer has person ready to proceed, the called phone is transferred.
If not. The called phone is terminated.

These guys are amazing. Obviously they invested a lot in technology to do something totally illegal and they don't appear to have any fear of prosecution. They have a site at YourBalanceCheck.com but that may not be theirs at all.

I will be contacting the DNC list people as well as others suggested here, but will also be pursuing some things through the phone carriers since these people are conducting business improperly. I was also thinking about the FBI since this is wire fraud and (yes) the US Postal Service whose investigators deal with interstate commerce and wire fraud.

I keep getting calls from this phone number.  Several times a day for a few days and then nothing for a while and then the calls start again.

I'm on "do-Not-Call" list, but they "Do-Call."
So.
I call back. Push the suggested "1" on phone key pad to be removed.
Then....

I have been receiving these calls for about a month now.  They are calling my cell phone at all hours and then leave a message regarding the website and the phone number.  I went to the website, it is definately a scam on getting your bank account numbers.  I am on the do not call.gov listing and have been for several years.  I figured, maybe I should update and put my number on the government do not call listing again.  I did that, we shall see what happens.  I have also filed a complaint against this number on the government do not call list.

ditto for comments below...i never answer my telephone if I do not recognize the number.  have been calling my home phone for weeks and finally left a message about a 10K credit line/card...I am skeptical, believe nothing about financial claims unless I am at my bank where my money is FDIC insured.
