This report is about my CALLING this number rather than their calling me. I was trying to install Microsoft Office 10 on my PC using a CD which I purchased. The activation failed when I entered the Product Key so I contacted this number listed as the contact to call re. Microsoft Office 10 Activation Support. I talked for several minutes with three Indian-accented Techs - who identified themselves as "Yatin Seth," "Amit Kumar" and "Vikram Kaul" -  who worked with me by accessing my computer via the internet to determine the problem. Then I was asked to provide credit card info to pay for a  one-time cost of $199.99 which would pay for the support time and the software needed to protect my PC in the future. Then they went through the process of "examining my computer" to assess the problem which they said was being caused by 2 "rogue" Trojan viruses that were emulating the KMS services associated with activation. Then they purged the system of the "affected" data and downloaded and installed a "For Life" licensed Antivirus called "Vipre". When all was done they put me on line with their "supervisor" to rate their support. He identified himself as "Ashis Mehaa". I asked them to email me a copy of the support chat session. They said they would. I checked my email this morning and had a "Thank you" notice from Visa for using my card to pay the $199.99!! Since there was no email containing the chat information, I became worried and suspicious so I used your site to look up the number and this is where I ended up!!

Phone scam called saying it was Microsoft tech support and my computer was sending error reports and they needed remote access to fix the issues.  Wanted 199.99 to download "anti-virus" software to fix the problem.  This is a scam.  Microsoft does NOT call people and does not have anyway of knowing if your computer has issues.  DO NOT give these people your information, credit card number or most importantly, remote access to your computer!

I have paid twice now with in just a few months each totaled 199.99 to this number calling me to alert me of computer hacking and other problems with my computer. The first time they said the problem was with the incoming lines and now it's the network. If this is a fraud I want them shut down now. I don't like being taken advantage of nor do I want others to be. My husband wants to make sure that their not giving me the problem and then tell me something else just to make money from me.

Thank you.
