Thank you so much Mr. Lyngklip!! I just happen to be "surfing" around on my pc when I came across my entry on the "800notes.com" site from a couple of weeks ago that I forgotten about!! While the phone calls from this "Mike Benson" have stopped- for now any, I'm now getting calls at work by someone who claims his name is "Officer Daniel Wayne" and the message is regarding a "lawsuit"- (I thought that leaving such personal information with third parties was considered a violation of confidentiality?). Anyway, the number this "Officer Wayne" left on both occasions was (786)-275-5007. I, once again, am very apprehensive to contact this person for fear they will try to get money out of me. Can you please help me? Thank you again!!

i have explain to them that i never live on skkillman but he keep telling me that its me now i dont understand because he sent me out a fax which is a piece of paper with some guy name on it CHRIS THOMPSON PAYMENT MANAGER

I recievd a phone call from them today the same jennifer from a restricted number and told me to call mike benson.  I spoke with brian lewis. he told me i was being sued for 1900.   i called him back and confronted him about being a fraud. i cant believe he sleeps at night.

I received several "Restricted" calls for a few days and I NEVER answered them, I also received calls from disassociated numbers ( Skype call)..Finally today they left a message saying I needed to arrange to be served a summons to avoid a 'failure to appear in court"....I was told I had to contact   MIKE BENSON, who had supposedly "signed off" on my 'filed" complaint..I was give a case number etc... I was told to contact Mike at 888-868-6459...Luckily I found THIS site!!! The caller claimed that Mike Benson was with Stein and associates...what a SCAM!!!!

I'm SOOOOOOO GLAD I found this website!!! Today I got phone calls both at home and work from some foreign-sounding woman that didn't leave her name. She claimed that she was calling my house to verify my documents on my behalf for a "summons to appear in court" regarding a debt of some sort that I owed, and in order for me to "avoid a failure to appear in court" to call this Mike Benson at 888-868-6459 in reference to the "complaint number" 81642CA36. It sounded like she said she was from  RPS.  I'm very apprehensive to call this number for fear that they're going to try and hit me up for money that I simply do not have!!! I don't care about these a***oles calling my house; but when they start calling my job and CONSTANTLY CALLING MY JOB WEEK AFTER WEEK, then that takes the cake!!! They have to be stopped!!!

Thank goodness! I have been getting calls at work and at my previous in-laws house with someone asking for my last name from when I was married to my ex-husband, 10 years ago. Finally got a call on my cell phone and the lady left a message stating I needed to call Mike Benson at 888-868-6459 with a complaint number. Called back and the guy who answered said Mike was his file clerk but he would help me. Told me I was being sued for $2590 from a credit card I had in 2005. Scary thing was he knew the last four of my social and my address. I know it's a scam because of the credit card info. Anyone filed bankruptcy in the past? I believe this credit card is on my bankruptcy report which is public record.He never once asked my name while I was on the phone with him. When I got off the phone he just said, "see you in court." Really? SCAM!

I just got a call from 888-868-6459. They left me a message that it was imperative that I call them. When I called the lady transferred me to a man who asked if I was Norm and he had my social security number. He said I only paid 23.00 on a 2000.00 loan and he needed me to be home so I could be served with court papers. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about and called me inappropriate names. I hung up. Anyone reading this beware, they are scammers!!!

i got a message telling me to call this Mike Benson i never called him had a friend help me look up this numberwhat a scam glad i never called him, the lady on the phone told me they wanted to serve me papers but didnt know where they needed information..  What a big scam!!!!!!!!!!!!

got a message on my answering machine that I was being summoned to appear in court. could hardly understand the lady on the message. called the number and got an answering machine after many times ringing. Never have gotten any paperwork or mail from Stein and Associates. I am with you that this is a scam.

I just recieved a call from a Jennifer who said I was being sued and this 8888686459 number to speak with a mike benson for a case number for being sued...she wouldn't even tell me what for....after reading your stories and how close the dates are i am sure it's a scam....i will call and see and keep you posted....this is crazy....

I also recieved a message to call a "Mike Benson" and I called back on 9/13 and talked with a "Brian Lewis" claiming I owe a credit card bill on my credit report that was turned over to them and they have a summons ready to serve me. I have been scammed in the past so I asked for there address to research them and to send me in writing proof I owe them.  He refused to send me a bill stating over and over they sent me one last month and I did not respond to it and this bill is on my credit report.   I do not have this bill on my credit report.  I have googled there address and nothing comes up to match.  I am filing a report with the BBB and FTC for my state.

Received a message to call at "Mike Benson" in reference to a summons to appear in court. Called the number back and it rings repeatedly until going into a voicemail for Stein & Assoc.

Brian Lewis left me a voice mail saying i needed to appear in court. I called the number back and was told i was being sued for 1800 for a credit card and he needed to verify my information so he could serve me the summons. He 'transferred' me (sounded like the mute button) to a woman that was supposedly with the accounting dept of the original creditor and she wanted my debit card info to take 600 from me. JOKE!!!!!!!!!! I googled them immediately and feel so much better now that i know they are liars. This is so wrong!!
