Calls our business asking to talk about our "account with PGE Gas and Energy". Upon asking if they have the account number they are calling about, they usually hang up or just sit there without saying anything. Waste of time, not even worth answering the call if you see this number pop up on the ID.

I've gotten several calls from 888-869-0720. A person named Rodney claims he is with Vista Energy and mentions PGE. Since I deal with no one with toll free on caller ID, I'm not sure if this is legit ( doubt it). anyone else get these calls? Strange this number is related with another instance of bogus calls.

Never call these cretins back. Never. Do not under any circumstance provide any caller from this number
any personal or business information. Never. Think about it. It is a "falsed" number. Do you want to have any dealings at all with any company or party that will lie up front about who they are or where they are calling from?? Scams abound these days. It's the new economy. ...And no- I don't, never did and will not have any account with COX Communications. Think about it.

Got a call from this number to call back 888-906-3131. It sounded like Blue Spruce is the company. They were calling about a PG&E account. I do not have PG&E.

This caller calls frequently, but never says anything during the first two times I answered the call. While the ID displays Cox Communications, it is not Cox calling. We use Cox for Business purposes and our account is up to date. When I called the number listed on our Cox bill to ask whether they made these types of calls, the rep who answered said Cox never calls for these types of purposes.
