Just received the same text message for the second day in a row but from a different email address and a different number to call.  Please make a report with your financial institution so they are all aware of the problem.  Sprint does know what is going on and you can see the information they are providing at the sprint website.

Its a mistake to not relpy to this number, reply, just give them phoney information. Reply as they requested, give them alot of busy work to wade through. Maybe it will cost them enough they will go away

If you would like to file a complaint about this incident you can go to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) website and log one.  It takes about 5 minutes.

I received a similar text message about 10 minutes ago from revyek@messaging.sprintpcs.com and the message said: "Ecount-Citi-Prepaid has deactivated your DebitCard. To reactivate call 8888737069."

Just received the message also. Checked the web before I took any action and found this. Rule of thumb, if a financial institution is going to deactivate or change any account information, they will generally not use text or email to notify the user. IGNORE is your best bet!!

I received the same text.  I do have a CITI bank credit card.  Called the number and they wanted my card information along with all the identifiers that would allow them to use my card for fraudulant purchases.

I received a text that read as follows-  Ecount-Citi-Prepaid has deactivated you DebitCard.  To reactivate call 8888737069.  I don't and have never had a prepaid debit card nor had any dealings with this company.  Based on everything that I have read I am not going to waste my time calling the number.  Beware
