Someone said they were calling from "Time Warner" and asked to speak to the manager. I said no and hung up. :)

Time Warner Cable (or someone pretending to be) saying that they will be happy to send out a representative who can give us a free estimate on our phone/internet tomorrow anywhere around 10am, 10:30am, 11am...I stopped her there, as we have received multiple phone calls from them, and everytime my answer is the same, polite but firm, no thank you, we are happy with our current provider. They continue to talk after multiple "no thank yous".

I got this call a few times and this time they said they are from Warner Cable doing the survey about optic....and call quality. I really want to stop this number from calling.

really, really bad connection couldnt understand anything so i hung up. dont know who they were or what they wanted. Caller ID read Toll Free. not much help there.

Time Warner trying to schedule someone to come down tomorrow and show me why their service is better than my current service. Told him I'm not interested and he said why not. Guy speaks with such a strong accent I can barely understand him.
Robo call - there was an electronic sound for two seconds or so before he came on the line.

It is Time Warner, or one of their "affiliates." The goal is to get you into a conversation in order to sell you more Time Warner services. Unfortunately for them, I've been on their Do Not Call list for more than a year. Small Claims is next, guys. This should be an easy $1500.00.
Everyone on this blog needs to become familiar with the TCPA, and start suing. It is quick, it is easy, and it gets their attention much faster.

I called the number back and received a recording telling me 'the number is not in service'. That right there tells me it's a BS phone number (probably spoofed) and that the Yahoos on the other end are scammers.
I'll save this as 'ignore' and I will do just that. If I ignore calls long enough (usually about 2 months) these lick knobs go away, only to be replaced by the next set of lick knobs.
I have noticed that the nunber of BS phone calls has dropped a fair amount. I simply ignore calls from numbers I don't recognize. If it's a legit call the caller will leave a message. If it's bogus garbage they don't leave a message & they will go away if ignored long enough.
There needs to be another category for 'Call Type' and it should be 'SPAM'

They call our office # and always ask to speak to an office manager. I asked if I could take a message but they don't want to leave one. They say they'll just call back later. It's always someone with an accent and it's noisy in the background, like a call center.

This number calls every day between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, no voice when I pick up, just hangs up, cannot call back get recorded message that calls cannot be received. Have reported to FCC

A lady on the other side of the phone specifically asked to speak to a family member. When I asked what this was about, she said she was from "Time Warner Cable" and they were providing Fiber Optic internet services. I told her we won't be needing it and she hung up. I later looked up the number 1888 888 1102 and it wasn't associated with Time Warner at all.

I've received a call from this number every day for a week to my biz phone. They hang up, don't leave a message. I called the number to check it out and got a message to call "customer service". It's a fraud of some type.
