This number called 17 times, calling as early as 7am.  They called my mother's house and was threatening and rude (I haven't lived at my mom's house since I was 17, now I am 41).  

I was getting all the legal and being served threats, only to find out they were harrassing me from a debt in 1990 with Bally's Fitness.  I signed up for a lifetime membership, which is illegal by the way, when I was barely 18.  I told them the statuate of limitations had passed years ago and they were violating FTC regs by trying to collect on this debt.  The guy didn't have much to say after that.  I asked him "are we done here?" and he responds with a simple yes.

Just got a call on my cell phone, they didnt leave a message. I have never had Allstate.

Called said I had a debt.  Did not mention to who.  Did not say how much. Did say I could pay today for less and it would be considered paid in full.  Strange, because as person above mentioned,  I don't owe anyone.  It seems to me someone is trying to fool people into lining their pockets.

Look idiot, American Family dropped me after 25 years. You pay your premium in advance you douche! This is typical of the scum insurance hiring scum to intimidate people who don't owe. They ripped me off for years, they can go straight to hell!

I work for the company and all we do is try to collect monies owed to companies with monthly pay plans. Mainly insurance companies.
Just call ....Duhhhhh!!!!!!! they will tell you what it is regarding!!!!!!!!

Call is from CCS. They are trying to collect money from me for Allstate Auto Insurance that was cancelled by me a year ago August. I received another statement and went to the office to remind them I had cancelled the policy. On their "details" it states the policy was cancelled 2/23/09. I quit making payments because of financial demise due to multiple surgeries and told the finance company to come get the car last August. Cancelled the insurance, took the plates off and parked it in the driveway. They finally came and got it in October. They say I owe $163.86. Will settle for $131.09. Neither is even 2 months premium. So according to THEM I had insurance on a car for 6 months after I cancelled and for 4 months after the car was taken. I was paid current when I cancelled the policy.

Also got a call tonight from this number didn't answer. Also Allstate trying to collect for a policy I canceled in 2006 after I was injured by another party that also was with Allstate. Allstate refused to pay on the final bill on the repairs of my vehicle so I canceled them, and had switched my insurance to Geico. Allstate claims that I owe them for coverage during a time that I was with Geico. I think it's time for a class action lawsuit

Just got a call at 3:05PM, didn't answer.  They left no message.  I did call back to verify the company name and it is CCS.

got a call tonight, didn't answer.  message says they want to settle for a reduced amount but did not give any name as to who for.  Allstate says I owe them for a month of insurance.  We moved out of state and notified the agent, also told them before the renewal date that we had a different ins company.  The agent failed to cancel the policies for a month after the renewal date even though he was told we would not be renewing with him.  He turned it over to CCS,  I put negative feedback on his adds and reported him to the state insurance bureau.  Like that is  going to do any good.

Hmmm, if this is Allstate, good luck collecting.  I left Allstate over two years ago, and according to them I did not cancel in a timely manner and owe them money - well it was PAID about three months after I cancelled.  No way am I going to pay again, two years after I paid it.  They can call all they want but I don't deal with third-party collectors; this balance, in particular, was paid DIRECTLY to Allstate, so I will contact them to call off their collector.

I got the same call from All State. They are telling me that I owe them money b/c I didn't cancel my insurance at the right time. Have spoken to All State and they have 2 different cancellation dates and neither match the date I cancelled All State. I also had my All State Rep call them and they had quit calling for about 3 months and now they are back at it again.

This time they are not leaving a web address like they did before. I have also been told by my All State Rep that All State has been doing this to anyone who cancelled their policy in the last 2 years as well as those who still have policies with them are not having their money withdrawn from their accounts on auto  withdrawal accounts and then are being sent to collections when it appears that it is All State who is delinquent and not the policy or ex-policy holder.

I got a call from 18888884010 and i picked up and they said they were debt collectors. I freaked out and i continued listening on to the amount i owed. I got so nervous. SO i pretended i was  a detective and the person they just called has been deceased (me) so i told them they just called a crime seen and they are to stay on the phone. I got them to stay on the phone and i pretend that if they were to hang up there call is being traced and county officers are on there way to there location. Lol well it worked because the guys freaked out like i did. But yes i do owe them. not much but one day ill
decide to pay.

as state about, the same thing happen with Allstate. they turned me over for collection, for one month, when I did not have their service.Not after I had changes agent, they are sending me offer. Like I would go back to them. NO WAY. I went with AAA, save a boudle. they money that Allstate had been collecting for over 6 years.

Got the same call from the CCS (collection agency) 1-888-888-4010. They said they would settle the debt for a lower amount! It is AllState Car Insurance..I was with them for a long time and my contract was up and I stayed with AllState but switched agents and now they turned me over to this collection agency saying I owe them money and I don't. I am considering dropping AllState Insurance and going some where else. This is CRAZY!!!!!!!I wish they would leave me alone, I guess I could call the Better Business Bureau and report them for harrassment!

collection Agency for Farmers insurance. Were notified in 3 places and twice of my bankrupcy, called wanted to settle for lower amount. Still under "bankrupcy protection" if they call again we are going to court

same info as above; related to an insurance plan with encompass insurance that was changed 4 times by my agent.  apparently, some transactions was not closed by the agent, or something.  In any case, this has been going on for over a year.  I think it is time to hire a lawyer and bring them to court.
