Caller ID says "800 Service".  I have answered before and i says to call a certain number.  I don't do that.

This number keeps calling and doesn't leave a message. I want them to stop calling me!

888-889-3694 is Allied International, a collection agency.  Google them to find their addresses and other data.  I recently moved and was assigned a new home phone number (landline); and ever since I have been inundated with collectors calling for people that are not me, for debts I do not owe.  Allied International called and left no message, but this number was on my incoming call / caller ID list.  I just happen to be an attorney.   I called them back, threatened them into revealing who they are, told them I am an attorney and well aware of my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, told them I was recording the call, told them I was not the person they were seeking, and demanded that they not call me again.   This has worked quite well with other collection agencies looking for people who are not me either; in one instance they kept calling, and long story short, they agreed to pay me $$$ not to sue them.  Do not be intimidated by these scumbag bottom feeders.  Demand that they stop calling (even if you owe the debt they are trying to collect) and if they do not stop, report them to the FTC, the Attorney General of your state, the BBB (although the BBB is basically worthless because companies pay them to be BBB approved), and any other state and federal agencies that regulate these pimples on the butt of society.  AND get an attorney.  Most attorneys will take these cases without any cost to you, because the law provides that the collection agency must pay your attorney fees.  I also take the time to post on these reverse lookup sites, because one of the biggest weapons we have as consumers is the truth, and getting the word out on these companies whose actual business plans are illegal actions.  These people are thugs; they are lower than whale poop on the bottom of the ocean.   DO NOT LET THEM INTIMIDATE YOU.  FIGHT BACK!!!

Kept getting several calls a day from this number on my cell phone. Called back and got Allied Interstate, they are looking for someone I have never heard of. I have had this phone number for probably close to 2 years. This is the second time I have told them to remove it from their system. The first time I stopped getting calls for a while, then they started in again. Let's hope this time they get it through their heads to stop calling me.

never leave a message, and when i call back no one answers the phone, i am on the no call list but i guess it does not work

I get at least 3 calls from this company (scammers). When I answer it is a recording. I have purchased an air horn and will most definitely use it after I press 1 to speak to a friendly representative. I am on the "Do Not Call" list but I do believe that I am getting more telemarketing calls since being placed on the list. Could it be possible that the government is in such bad financial shape that they are selling our numbers???

Have had daily calls from this number every day this week with the exception of Christmas.  The message says to call 1-888-889-3694 and a representative will help me.  I called the number after hours. It rang twice then got a fast busy signal.

Only called and said for me to call them back. left know company name,only phone number and hours. Said a representative would help me.

This number constantly dials my cell but never leaves a voicemail.  I am not getting anyone when I call back.

I receive a minimum of 2 calls each day from 888-889-3694, and sometimes as many as 4 or 5. They never leave a message and all I get when I call back is a recorded female voice with a "Please hold for the next available representative" notice literally every 15 seconds. It finally hangs up on me after a couple of minutes, maybe less, when I let it continue. When I call back I get a "Please hold, all of our representatives are assisting other customers" a recorded male voice you hear frequently on this kind of thing. Who could be doing this, and why can't some agency..phone company, federal communications, someone, do something about this very irritating occurrance. This has been going on since before Christmas.

I need to add that I, too, am on ALL Do Not Call Lists but keep receiving these calls from 888-889-3694. Someone somewhere knows who this number belongs to and can do something about them calling everyone all day everyday.

its a company called allied interstate , thet say they are debt collecters but if u look up the comapny they have been in trouble for saying they represent like 200 different places including the fedral govt, company has no website

this number calls me several times a day! i have answered some of these and there is only an automated message saying they are calling about a debt and to call a certain number.  I haven't called any number back.

Had severals calls from 888-889-3694 each morning at the same time - would ring, we would answer and no one there.  Finally we called back and told them to not call us again, remove us from their list, etc>

I have received calls from this number nearly twice a week for quite some time. When I answer no one is there. So, yesterday, I called this number back and was put on hold. Eventually, someone answered and said they are a collection agency and are looking for a Robert something. I told her that we had just received this phone number upon moving to Del Rio, Texas, and that I had no clue as to the person they are looking for. She said okay, she'd put do not call next to our number. However, I rec'd two phone calls today, March 1, from this same number.

Getting calls on new cell # from 888-889-3694.  They have a dialer with a loop that wants a call back, but not wasting my time.  After you hang up on them a few times in a row .... send / end on your cell, they stop calling for a few days.

got three calls from this number on three consecutive days. called back at number they gave, the same, I guess. Told it was "allied interstate" I see it's a collection agency, but I have no unpaid bills. Obviously they have the wrong number. Morons keep leaving recorded msg. on my vm. I never turn my cellphone on except to make a call, so they're wasting their time.

My mother in law got a call from them on her cell, a recorded message asking to call back.  Aside from my wife and I, her son, and a few co-workers, no one has has that number for her, so we have no idea what it's about.

Keep getting a computer that starts it's message as soon as my machine picks up, which means that my greeting cuts off a portion of their message.  I get the part about calling them at 888-894-3694, but haven't tried that.  If they really want to talk to me, they can have a person call me.

I received a call from 888-889-3694 two days in a row and all the voicemail stated was "please call us back at 888-889-3694" and they hang up. Not sure who this is or what they want, but my credit score is above 700 and i dont owe any past due debts

Also received muliple recordings on my new company cell phone telling me to call about a debt.  When I did call, I was put on hold, then hung up on when I asked who was calling me.  I called back, told them that I was responding to their call and that I thought it was in error.  Theresa asked for my number, I told her, she asked me if I was Sheila Somebody, I said no, and Theresa told me she would take my number off their list.

Receved recording from this number and wat told to call in relation to a debt. called it and was put on hold while a computer found a human. They are skip tracers and were looking for willi when my name is william. they are just trying anything in desperation to find their skiper.

Received 5 calls since 2 Nov '07.  Last call on 11/8/07 was able to get Allied Interstate for caller ID.  Found that nationwide my first and last name appears in public phone records 283 times. Have to assume Allied Interstate doesn't do much homework in trying to locate people they have done business with.

Received several calls, however when I answered the phone, no one would respond.  I called the number and was placed on hold.  Once I finally got a representative, [Theresa] she refused to identify what company she worked for and terminated the phone call.
