Unknown Name, No Message, 12:03 after Noon, Called the Number back and it just rang and rang... noone picked up

Answering machine answered and no one left a message.

Florida FOR PROFIT CORPORATION called Organizational Development, Inc. (2007 State of Florida Annual Report at the following URL: http://www.sunbiz.org/pdf/U0592950.pdf) - 888-889-6665 reports themselves to be "Purity Service Line", a company that solicits Donations for Charities. They are one of several call centers in Florida run by Organizational Development 800-894-9555: President of the Company is Robert Preston, Vice President is Hugh Johnson and John Taylor is reported to be the man in charge of the outgoing phone marketing. The people I spoke to there were polite and responsive. As an alternative, you can reach them through their mailing center phone number at 561-304-0044.

Got call today from this number and they were raising money for Breast Cancer.  Asked if they could send envelope for a donation

No message left.  Called two times today.

I have received many calls from this # 888-889-6665
I would like this to stop.

Called while I was out. Answering machine answered and the lady at the other end asked for me by my first name only. Apparently she wasn't smart enough to know that she was talking to an answering machine. The call was received on 2/29/08 at 2:18 pm.

Received call from this 888-889-6665 on January 29 2008. Female identified herself as "Make a Wish Foundation" and solicited a donation. A couple of days later my wife said there was a letter from the "Kids Wish Network" and asked if I had agreed to make a donation. I told her I had and she sent out a check. This evening I received a call from the same number and the female caller asked if I had received the information they had sent. I told her that we had already sent a check and that I felt mislead because it was not the Make a wish foundation as I was led to believe. She hung up..... The phone number on the letter they sent is 800-894-9555 and the letterhead says: Kids Wish Network,

Called at 12:53 p.m. on 12/7...no message.........it's just a pain in the a**.......what happened to the no call list..How can these people keep  calling....something is wrong somewhere..........

Call received 1/08/07 at 8:50 am.  Said they were calling for "Breast Cancer Research".  I requested that they take my name off their list.

Received a call at 5:45 P.M.  When I answered, no one was there.  I called this number back...after 6 rings, a machine picked it up..I just held the phone and after a little while, it just cut off.  Nothing but silence.

They call during the day and leave no message.  The caller ID is unknown with their number under it.  I called them back and they said they are a charity service line and they call for donations.

recieved a call from this number when I answered it went into a busy signal,thru my provider I blocked this

called the last two days.  I called it at 12:10 am CST and no answer.  Will try again tomorrow.  Remember, if they answer, it costs them at least 4 cents a minute....

To update my previous note -- just received another call from this number. It was asking for donation for Vietnam Veterans. It is obviously used for many charities.-

Received call from this number but did not answer at the time. When I called it back, I was told it was a national children's charity line which covers 7 charities. Asked to be removed from their list since it is not covered under "NO CALL."

Same as above, numerous calls on caller ID, no message.  Blocked number with service provider.

person on other end making lots of noise,sounded like eating or something,person was for sure present on other end,would not speak.

I am on the no-call list and have received several recorded calls (not an individual) from 888-889-6665.  Caller ID "unknown name".

I could barely understand this person, it was as if they were (A) whispering, or (B) speaking in a way to be misunderstood. Calling the number back gets an empty answer, IOW the call is answered, but no one is there, just silence.
