wrong person with wrong number

They are real they are as I stated Everest University Online pretending to be Sallie Mae

If they curse at you and use any form of profanity towards you A hang up B Get on teh phone to the Police File a complaint against them for Verbal Harassment on the phone C File a complaint Against them with the FTC and Your local Attorney Generals office.  


What their doing on the phone to you is illegal and get this the person doing that to you on the phone can be visited by a police office in what ever town they are in and get this will be arrested as what really sucks for them is that all their calls out to you are recorded by law and they cannot touch that system to delete them they can only pull a full hard drive they have to keep the files for 7 years.  There cannot be any whoopsies and if they got caught violating that requirement they would be shut down.

Their only legally allowed to call 3 times a day morning afternoon and evening for one.  2 again if they are told they have the wrong number they HAVE TO REMOVE THE NUMBER FROM THEIR CALLING LIST.

Don't let them get on your nerve or stress you out you need to stress them out and get them where it counts with their lic as if they get enough complaints against them they can and will be Shut down Google a company called CAMCO they were in my home town and got shut down as they were ignoring the laws as this place and many others do.  when enough complaints are submitted to the FTC they get brought in front of a board for investigation when bad enough it can be a congressional investigation committee.  

Also if you feel the FTC is dropping the ball than file a complaint to your States Attorney Generals office they will also investigate into the matter and if its harassment enough and long enough you just may be entitled to money as they will get fined for it and you can demand part of that fine go to you as per the Telemarketing act of 1990 all call centers whether it be collections or solicitations have to abide by that act to which they cannot call you before 9 am.  they cannot continue to call you when they are told not to do so to take you off their list or if they have the wrong number as they have 24 hours to do so and if they refuse to do so they can get fined starting at 1500.00 per call on up to which of that a percentage is given to the complainant.


So AMERICA STAND UP AND FIGHT BACK AS THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED TERRORISTS AS THEY DO TERRORIZE PEOPLE ON THE PHONE WHEN THEY CALL!!!!.


I had one person call me and threaten to come to my house and commit acts of violence on me up to and including threats of forcing to to work my debt off with acts of sex on the street!  

Yeah that person was put in jail and the company was fined 150,000.00 for each time their rep did that to me it seems He thought I was a girl and he was going to scare me into paying a bill that A was some one else's that he was calling for that never lived at my address and B Was told to stop calling and that I WAS A GUY AND THERE'S NO CONFUSING MY VOICE WITH A WOMAN'S EITHER :P :P

Report them to the FTC if they refuse to stop calling for people also it is illegal for them to call you after you tell them the person does not live there they are to remove your number from their list.  It is Everest University pretending to be Sallie Mae attempting to get people to pay them instead of Sallie Mae their attempting to collect 10 times the amount that is actually due.  

I know this as I was once a student with them and they after I left their school in 2009 kept enrolling me in classes after that forging electronic signatures they scammed up in excess of 120,000 in student loans I have filed complaints with Sallie Mae and they refuse to do anything about it.  I have copies of emails showing that I withdrew from their school but Sallie Mae refuses to accept those stating that they can be altered that the Email header can to that they wont accept originals or forwards or replies.    What brought me to drop them is that they are required to provide their students with all materials required for each course and out of 8 courses that I was enrolled in they only sent me materials for 3 of the courses and told me that it didn't matter that they were notified by me that they didn't send me the items required to complete the courses that it was my problem and I was still stuck paying for the classes that it wasn't on them.  I told them that I did what I was required to do I notified everyone I could get a email and phone number for and they still refused to fix the problem.  I found out on the internet that they do this from time to time to people to fill just enough people in the class so that they can indeed hold the course as there is a federal minimum of enrollment to hold a course supposedly is what they told one person they did it to.  I am 1 of several thousand victims of theirs over the last 4 years and that was all the farther I could go back on them.  Their staff never stays the same every 4 weeks they change you to another person who claims they don't see any information on the complaints that I gave them. I started with a 4.0 GPA with them and at the end of the first year with them I was down to a 1.0 GPA and that is in the federal Register so I no longer can attempt to go to another school again for the rest of my life and on top of that they also maxed out my federal student loans as well so I now can no longer take any more courses with any other schools until that is paid down and with my Disability income I would have to live 7 lives to even think of getting it halfway down with the interest on the loans and the defaulters on them and the penalties.

I told them take me to court sent a letter in writing to no longer contact me on the phone or in the mail either that they are scamming people and that I will fight it when they do take me to court.  As legally if you tell a collections company in writing to no longer contact you on the phone or through mail they cannot contact you again and if they continue to do so than you can seek Legal actions against them as well through the FTC make sure when you send it in the mail that you send it Signature Required with return receipt Requested and Tracking as well as that will serve as your proof that you sent that notice to them.


I am prepared for them to take me to court and to represent my self as I am disabled and I have nothing but time on my hands to real laws and know my rights and study cases in the past that had similar circumstances to them.  I had a collections company try to put me in debtors Jail but when I handed the Judge the copy of all letters sent to them and copies of their Signature showing that they did indeed get informed that hey were not to contact me again in any form and failed to comply with that notice per FTC law that their required to do so The judge threw it out of court as they were wasting her time over a 1.  Credit fraud case as some one used my Identity to get a credit card and 2 a case of 75.00 that they were attempting to rack up over 20k in court fees by the time they showed up for court and didn't continue the case for non availability.  

The Judge told me that I had full right to seek a counter suit on the case as they ignored a investigation that I launched into the matter of Identity theft and lied on the paperwork they filled out to the credit agencies stating it was an in person application for a place that was overseas.  I laughed at that I told the credit agencies kinda hard to do that when I was in the hospital and sent them proof that I was in the hospital doing so and also told them that they could check with the government and Chex Systems and see that I don't have a Pass Port and never had a Pass Port in my life as that is on your Chex systems report if you go to their site and request a copy of it.


I hope that this information helps another person to strike back at those monsters out there as they step way out of their bounds out of the bounds allowed to them by the law to scare and threaten people to pay up and in the end those like me that fight back win and hopefully I am helping some one like myself to win as well maybe we all together in the world can stand up against these a** holes and put an end up their games and get them to realize that you get more flies with honey not acid!

Everytime they call me the guy on the other end starts calling me a son of a bi***. So any " collections" place that talks to youblike that isn't real.  Its harassment

Ok, they called at 8:14 am.  Isn't there laws about this.  I called number back a few months ago and told them they had the wrong number.

FIRST SOURCE FINANCIAL.... NOT SOLAR.

Collection Agency name Solar financial.

These people call me 7 times a day for the last 3 months, I have told them I am not who they are looking for yet they continue to call! I am starting to get pissed!!

I have told these people every time they call that the person they are calling for does not live with me and i do not have contact with them anymore. I contacted the person they are calling for and he told me he called and got my number taken off the list. It has been 2 months and I am still receiving a phone call a day from them looking for him. What can I do other than change my number?

i called this number back and talked to a guy and he explained the agencies rotate their collection procedures and this is why i keep getting calls for someone else. the person they are looking for i googled them and found an address and phone number for them and asked why they couldn't do the same. they are an agency that deals with collegiate loans. he said he won't call again so i told him to make a note that i will get into the next person's family lineage in a not so nice way.

They have called several times over the past few months asking for someone we don't know and will not diclose the reason for the call. Wife cussed them out the last time.

ITS A COLLECTION AGNECY THAT DEALS WITH COLLEGIATE LOANS..

They called me before but never left a message, finally they left me a voice message of someone typing on the computer. I don't know what they are trying to get at by leaving that voice message.

This number keeps calling me and leaving no messege.

Continues to call my number but will not tell me what it is in regard to

Why call demanding to speak to someone without identifying themself and then get an attitude when the home they called request additional information about the call.
