@greg....sorry to hear that but u are never getting that back I lost over 4,000 and there is nothing I could have done to get it back I had to find a second job and worked my toes off to get by....should have done it in the first place.

I sent my money to a Carl In New York as well. Then they tried to extort more money from me. But I didnt do that. I hope they all burn in Hell. Thats where they belong.

I was scam too  they told me to  send $691.00 and then they call back and say they need  aother $691.00  and i western union it to a carl townsend  new york    they are a big time  scam and i got scam 3 more times by us american //  us payday loans //bank of america  they are  loan places that scam ppl out of them money i lost a lot  of money

Its illegal to ask for money up front on a loan period. The Government web sites (FTC,FCC & DNC) are down until they get their selves together and go back to work so it may take awhile to get those reports filed.

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..

Unfortunatley I was scammed by Lone star financial. Their phone is always busy, now. Trevor Mcneill, Josh, are the biggest scam artist. Never saw any money or my refund I was promised. They sounded so professional.  BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

I am glad i kept searching to see if this company was legit. I could never find nothing on this company. I even look on BBB. they just open a file on sept 2013 no accredited by BBB.

Except for one thing, its illegal to ask for any money up front for a loan. They count on people being desperate and prey on that. Its a scam. You do need to file reports with your State Attorney General, the FTC & FCC..

I was contacted by email and by phone by a David Tillman.  I was asked to send $542 (it would have been $592-but he subtracted the $50 for the fees I would incur to sent payment by Western Union). This was to be a collateral payment that would be applied to my loan.  So I was in essence making the first 5 payments of the loan upfront. This was due to my bad credit. THEN when I was supposed to get the loan, I was contacted by Brad Carters who told me that I would not be recieveing the money due to the insurance underwriters needing another $592 (the WHOLE amount this time).
When I protested this, he  directed me to section #9 of my contract that stated that the "Lender reserves the right to request additional security coverage or collateral payment pending an independent assessment of Borrower information." In the event that the Borrower is denied insurance or collateral payments as a result of the assessment, a refund wil take place coincinding with the monthly billing cycle of the Lender.
I'm not so sure about these people, I think I got got!!

This is a complete and total scam, you will never see your loan money and you will never be able to reach them if you give them any money!!!! Do not fall for it!!!! Complete scam!!!! My husband fell for this and luckily we were able to recoup most of our money bc he had sent the wire with a credit card. They are a complete scam, sound nice, prey on desperate people, and then never follow through. Someone they hide all their bad reports out on the internet. I have no idea how, bc my husband throughly researched this, except for the phone number. I just found this, after it was too late!!!

Recived a call from a David Tillman stating that I was approved for 5000 with 7% apr for 48 months payments of 119.50 a month. I asked for a cobtract so I could look at the fine print. He sent it, and it looks good but.... I either have to put down collatoral due to my credit (not that strange cuz it is low)  but the funny thing is that he asked for either a house, car or 6 months worth of payments. If I had that wouldn't be getting a loan... I'm sure about these guys. The website link takes you to a page but the loan documents have a different logo than the page.  Any thoughts.....

I just got an offer from them for a 5000 dollar loan , I only needed 500, but they wanted a security deposit of 642 first , I'd say it's a scam

It is illegal in the US to ask people to pay ANY fees, insurance, installment, etc in order to receive money.  You pay that money and not only will you lose that money, you'll never see a penny of the "loan" your husband applied for.

My husband applied online for a loan with this company and as collateral are asking for some money down which in turn goes toward our principal and we don't make a payment for a few months. I'm trying to see if this company is legit before I pay them a insurance collateral and not get my loan amount requested.
